At any rate, it confirms that PF didn't have his own set of keys to her vehicle, IF he ever planned to dispose of it as well.
IMO, that says a LOT about their relationship.
I may be way off, but couples married or not, that I know, have keys to each others cars.
Maybe that isn't a reality for the majority of people.
I honestly don't know.
Moo
We have a place to keep keys and multiple sets for four cars although there are only two of us. Only one of the vehicles has key fobs with settings for each driver, so that is the only set that we get "our" key. I doubt if he had any keys to her vehicles but it's likely she had extra sets at home. IMO, he didn't overlook getting rid of her cars, it didn't fit with his plan to make it look like she left with someone else. MOO

Been lurking but just a thought. What if CB's media narrative of an engaged loving couple was in order to fish out testimony from an Idaho gf, i.e. giving the gf the suggestion that PF was playing both her and KB. Once Idaho gf hears a different version of the relationship with KB, she gets upset and decides to come forward with information on PF. MOO.

I also wonder if she told someone in her family and they turned her in once the reward was announced

The comment about her being on "paid leave" makes me think protective custody/in hiding (helping LE vs, being in "custody " or guilty of any wrong doing.
I can't imagine why a nurse who was a willing accomplice would still be getting a paycheck.
Moo
True, but she hasn't been charged yet.

Is there a link saying she was on “paid leave”?

Perhaps PF wants people to think Kelsey left with someone, in their car.
MOO.
That may have been Plan B because he couldn't find the keys, or as another member postured, he threw the purse down the mineshaft not realizing the car keys were in there :)

IMHO, I think it is very easy to juggle two gfs especially if they aren't liable to run into one another so distance would be an advantage. They could have been chatting online. Maybe her ex had the kids for TG and she made plans to drive down to see PF. She could have had her kids with her. Two of my friends met someone online and took off for greener pastures. Their husbands knew nothing. Their friends didn't know either. MOO.

I agree.
PF is likely much more worldly & experienced than KB. The rodeo world is a fast life. He’s met a lot of people & hung his hat in a lot of places, imo.
The large rodeos are similar to the Sturgis Biker Rally.
KB might have been a bit naive for a seasoned cowboy.
Moo, etc.

I prefer my own crib.

@Mercedes if you we’re PF’s attorney prior to his arrest would you prefer he attend or skip a vigil for KB?
Tysm

Because PF did not show any other consideration for Kelsey’s disappearance, I would not want him to attend the vigil and fake his concern. At least PF’s behavior regarding her disappearance has been consistent and not hypocritical. I would want him to remain silent and stay out of the way.

One the other hand, if PF had shown concern for her missing, had cooperated with LE, etc., I would want him to attend the vigil.

Hi! I’m new too. Everyone here is so intelligent, it’s hard to stay away when so little facts are shared about this case.

I appreciate your angle, however if PF was planning her murder and IN/KK was possibly aware or assisted after the fact, I doubt she’d have any qualms or jealousy about the state of his relationship with KB. I think CB portrayed a healthy relationship to the media so PF wouldn’t feel like a target was on his back right away and possibly cooperate.

Apology accepted. I’m glad it was a misunderstanding. Sorry if I wasn’t clear. :)

I love how we can be adults, own up to misunderstandings, acknowledge apologizes and move on! Everyone seems edgy tonight so mad props to you both! :D

My apologies, I miss understood what you were trying to say.

Awesome idea!

Makes sense, I don't see PF as a controlling person, he did want others to see him as perfect, and probably groomed that perception to the max. I see him as the eternal victim, nothing is ever his fault, always someone else. Yes, he may even have portrayed KB negatively to his rodeo/farrier compadres, and his family, so he could shine and be the victim. The horse not winning the roping, was not his fault, so he almost kills it, etc. This is extreme behavior, and dangerous. IMO he had no control over his life, living at home with his mom, at his age, no place of his own, how was he in control? moo
.

Welcome to WS skycountry! You certainly live in beautiful “sky” country. Glad to have your perspective.

I would say that success in life is not a direct result of being controlling. He can be controlling even with his living at home situation, and in particularly over women. He controls his animals, so maybe it projects. I don’t know enough about PF to know though.

Yes, a lot of links.
I’ve only seen it reported that the hospital has been quoted as saying she’s on a “leave of absence” no mention of pay that I’ve seen.

Always remember, the intelligence here is “collective intelligence.”

No one person has all the answers. We work together!

I imagine for the same reason police officers under investigation get paid leave. They haven't been charged so it would be unfair to deny them their wage, and it's prudent not to have them on the job. Could you imagine the hoopla in the hospital if she was allowed to continue to work while being investigated? Yikes!

Ita, it’d be wrong to terminate her or force her to use vacay or saved time, imo. I’m guessing her involvement in the KB case had no bearing on KK’s work, prior to Thanksgiving. Moo, of course. Therefore, she’s not under discipline, as far as they/we know. If they did terminate her & she’s cleared or no longer under investigation or whatever the term de jour is, she would probably sue & be reinstated. Imo
