Yes, and the employer asked the BFF to have KK come in and speak to them which she never did. The BFF said KK told her to "forget the whole thing." So the employers disregarded it.
MOO
I get that maybe they thought , because they didn't hear it directly, no one would be believe them. Still...her family, it just adds more salt to the wound IMO

I wish we knew more about the context of exchange between KK and her bff. (Add that to wish list of info) Was KK shocked and upset? Was she casual? Was she afraid? Or was she trying to feel her bff out to see what her reaction was. Maybe by the 3rd solicitation attempt KK had become more comfortable with the idea as the initial shock wore off and was more agreeable to helping PF plan, carry out or cover up the crime.

IMO, feeling her friend out. Maybe hoping she would volunteer to help. Who knows. If one considers murder, it’s beyond comprehension what they think or if they think. Moo

With all due respect the couple came forward once they ‘put the dots together’ after seeing the press conference where CB discussed KB’s disappearance and plead for information regarding her disappearance. In other words — well before their employee started being harassed. Arguably the couple should have gone to LE. However, police likely would have placed little credence in a report based on double hearsay in the absence of last names and more specific identifying information. Sorry, I was unable link article and interview to this comment.
Could you provide a link? In this interview posted earlier here the couple only spoke about their employee coming to them visibly upset. No mention of KK being upset.
Twin Falls couple discusses tough call to FBI

I’m not seeing a specific timeframe for when the harassment started for the employee? I’m just curious

I also keep coming back to a quote from a PF acquaintance that he was injured shoeing a horse when he was younger. He had to go to the hospital and get stitches. THe horse kicked him in the head it sounded like. If this is the case, it could have been a concussion that went untreated and it could have affected him and his behaviour. I have no idea. Just speculation. If he went from great kid/guy to losing patience/temper, lashing out, etc.

Or try to talk her out of it...or report it for her..??-

I believe PF must have enticed her desire. He had something to offer her, possibly using “future faking” (e.g., you will get to run my ranch and we will host the biggest rodeos ever”) MOO.

Is it possible PF might have contacted KK after KB crime was done, in desperation and to get her help in cleaning up the scene?

Maybe I’m totally off on these things, but these scenarios occurred to me.
All this MOO
I think it’s entirely possible that PF committed this crime, and contacted KK in order to help with the coverup.

That’s not what I think happened, but there is nothing that we know that would discount that scenario.

Law enforcement would almost certainly know this, as her cell phone, credit card activity, and surveillance footage would clue them in as to when she arrived in town.

Even in the first scenario, she would still be an accessory after the fact, as she knew that she was participating in a coverup, as evidenced by those earlier solicitation attempts.

But that wouldn’t be as bad as actually helping with the murder itself.

Time will tell.

I don’t think msm released that info so it may be unlinkable.....

I have a question for anyone here that is LE. In my area, our LE have hotlines for tips. Tips about anything drugs, drunk driving, theft, whatever. They are anonymous, if that's even possible these days :) If someone called in and reported,"my bff told me her boyfriend PF ask her to kill his baby momma, and I don't know if it's true but I'm really scared it might be," and provides whatever details she my be privy to, what would/could you do? Just curious.
I'm not LE, but I have been on the other side of that scenario. Not quite the same situation, but one in which a middle school girl was receiving threats on her life from several students. What LE told me was that in order for them to investigate, they needed specific details. They even gave me specific examples, such as the person (who was unknown) would have to give a specific date, time and indicate how he was going to kill this girl, such as "I am going to bring a knife to school on Friday and stab you in the bathroom." It didn't have to have every single one of those details, but he told me it had to be something more than, " Watch your back", Or, " don't bother coming to school tomorrow because you will die," which is what some of those comments were. These were comments made on line, so it is a little different because they had no idea who they were.
On the other hand, a few weeks ago a kid texted a girl from school and said he was going to kill her and he was going to do it by bringing a bomb to school on Monday. He was arrested on Monday.
You can tell them you are scared all you want, but it is up to them to make the decision whether it is a valid threat or whether they will investigate. I was very upset when I called, but they were already aware of the whole thing and had already spoken to the administrator. They also informed me that this was very common and more often than not it turns out to be kids fooling around. So I can see why one may not always be aware if a threat or someone saying someone else is going to commit murder is for real. Imo

I believe that the motive was PF’s, and that initially, KK declined to participate in this crime.

I think that’s why it took three separate approaches on the part of PF, in order to get her to participate in some capacity.

Whatever he told her, she seems to have bought to a degree.

The question is, what specifically did she do to help him commit this crime?

And absolutely, why did he want Kelsey dead, and why did he chose that particular weekend to carry it out?

And where the hell is Kelsey?!

BBM: Three excellent questions, MG!
Curious: What draft responses do you have penciled in for each of those questions right now?

It seems he made it almost thru 2018 w/o killing, I think.
A lot of people suffer head trauma and don’t murder. Jmo

That would be within the last week or two on fb.

I don't know as I don't look at FB. However, some members have commented on what took place there. Not sure we're allowed to bring that here.

So why Thanksgiving...
because lots of people are away so if you don't see KB around that might not be a red flag.
because lots of people are away so they won't be around to notice anything odd.
because lots of people have time off....to commit a crime.
because lots of people have time off....to drive down and help commit a crime.
because lots of people have time off...to drive down and help cover up and crime and drive back.
because lots of people have time off...even LE
because people are busy with their own lives doing what they do during the holidays with their families..and then it's Black Friday and all h*ll breaks loose shopping and decorating and baking
and because...your kid is not old enough yet to talk and say daddy did it

They should have come forward IMMEDIATELY. Absolutely ZERO other option. They are the vectors for that info as they SAW someone UPSET. That was the GUIDING LIGHT AND CLUE. WHY? OH WHY? I CANNOT UNDERSTAND. IT MAKES ME FEEL VERY UNSAFE IN THE WORLD FOR THERE TO BE PEOPLE WHO DO NOT KNOW WHAT THE RIGHT THING TO DO IS. PLEASE STAND UP FOR WHAT IS RIGHT AND SAY SOMETHING - LOUDLY.
They should have done all they could to get all the information they could, by acting a certain way - intentionally pulling the information out. Connecting with KK, or getting her info. Establishing and gaining their employee's trust with regard to this and EMPHASIZING THE SERIOUSNESS OF THIS. THINGS LIKE THIS DO NOT GO AWAY. THEY EVENTUALLY TAKE PLACE IN ONE WAY OR ANOTHER.

Just hit me that Mr R didn’t say a single word during the interview. I wonder why that was?

Yep. Agree KK’s role is substantial and bad.
