I don’t care what someone has on you, it doesn’t justify participating in a murder.

Let’s think of the worst thing he could possibly have on her. Whatever you can think of, would it explain her helping PF here?

I think the general assumption might be that she was afraid or conflicted or something and seeking advice.

But, what if KK was seeking advice or assistance on helping PF get rid of evidence or commit the murder.

It sounds kind of crazy, but if KK was bringing it up out of fear or something, I don’t think she would have gone to PF in Colorado, at the very least.

She might not have had the guts to call police and report what he was planning, but she was 800 miles away, so it’s not like he could force her to participate.

She knew he wanted KB dead, and he asked her to do it multiple times, if she didn’t want to be involved, she didn’t have to go to Colorado.

So, I can’t help but wonder if the reason the BF was so upset is because KK had asked for her assistance.

I think the moving of the date to February has more to do with the fact that while PF was arrested on December 21st, his attorney was not allowed to see the arrest affidavit (and some other items covered by Colorado Rules of Criminal Procedure discovery rules) until January 4th. Colorado statutes require a Preliminary Hearing no more than 35 days (not counting the day of arrest, day of the Preliminary Hearing, or state and federal holidays) after charges. This is why the January 29th date was set. And unless that date was waived the defense would have only had 24 days, rather than as much as 35 days, to prepare for contesting any facts or evidence at a preliminary hearing.

Not everyone celebrates a holiday the same, there’s no law requiring everyone meet with family & eat turkey.
Maybe her kids had plans.

have been threatened by the perps and people tiptoe around them.
That doesn't explain KK driving 700 mi. on Tgiving and assisting in doing whatever.
This is going to be a convoluted story I can tell.

MOO is that this sounds like spin KK has given her BFF or BFF has told the R's to try to minimize KKs involvement once she saw that it was only a matter of time before she was found out.

If they received information they promised to keep confidential they could never reveal it. Ever. Unless it was information that a crime was GOING to be committed and they needed to reveal the info to prevent death or grave bodily injury.

But does it make a difference that she is their employee at that moment and not their client? That’s where I’m unsure - attorney/client is pretty straightforward, but here you have attorney/employee.

I think so, too. Maybe hoping bff would volunteer for the road trip. I dont feel KK discussed it with her out of fear.

I do believe she knew him for years, but the 'romantic relationship' part may just be an assumption. Not sure that I believe that now.

IMO PF may have been an abuser. We have info about his temper (against animals and the rodeo/trailer incident), we now possibly have KK afraid for her life if he found out she outed his plan, and it might be a stretch but based on the wrongful death suit he may have previously abused KB. I would not be surprised if we find out he was abusive of KB and possibly KK (if they were romantic).

I mean, sure, that makes sense. But still, why not spend Thanksgiving with her family and stay around just in case she can see the kids? I don't know, Thanksgiving is not a thing in my country but it seems like a pretty big thing in the US - family visiting, college kids going back home - that's why I'm confused.

As a pre-op RN she usually wouldn’t work on that 4 day holiday, but it would be interesting to find out if she did take off an extra day or so and WHEN she put in for the time off.

If what the BF said is true, can they charge KK with anything? I mean, she might have prevented KB’s death. After KB was killed, she should def have gone to LE. I’m not sure if there’s any charges that would stick with not telling LE ahead of time. For all I know, she did tell LE after. Man, that PF is a jackwagon! MOO, of course.
