I just wanted to add that I put the full blame on PF and KK .... PF because he wanted and plotted to have KB murdered, and KK because she should have reported this to LE the first time PF solicited help from her. I have no sympathy for her whatsoever. JMHO ...

Right. That's what I got from the interview. I'm not sure where the social media stuff is coming in.

They said they saw KB's mom on tv. Heard about KB's death and her fiancée "Patrick". Then put two and two together with remembering the employee who told them in october about her best friend being asked by a man named Patrick to kill his baby's mama.

So they called. And it was connected.
Maybe they felt in October it was just silly gossip or too far fetched to mean anything. But any kind of threat like that should be taken seriously. I would've called.

What is the harm in reporting it, even if LE had rolled their eyes and put the report in a drawer? At least you would have tried. And maybe LE would have poked around, figured out who Patrick was, thus who Kelsey was...and let her know. Jmo

When asked what made Patty come forward and call the FBI, she said it was when she connected the dots of who was involved and watching Kelsey’s mother Cheryl plea for help on national television.

“I think the mother that had the courage and go on TV when her daughter was missing, saying that someone knew where she was at,” Patty told KMVT. “At that point in my mind I thought that Patrick, and that was the only name I had heard him called, I didn't know his last name, had done something to her daughter and he knew where she was at.”

Tippy's timeline shows the first press conference with the mother was on December 10th. That is supposedly when they started piecing things together as a couple. They called four days before the arrest, so that would have been December 17th. It doesn't look like December 17th there was any indication of major activity.

On the 18th he was at the landfill, at the 19th they were back at her residence.

Wow. Interesting. I just caught up on the news. This is very strange, like the rest of the case so far. I guess we will have to wait until the next 2 interviews come out, but what I hear her saying is they put it together and notified police after seeing Kelsey's mom on TV (before their employee was being harassed online). A hero? What a stupid question.

To ask a woman who is calling you “her boyfriend,” to kill your baby momma, shows disregard for that woman and the woman you want killed, JMO. Sounds like KK was in a love Addiction situation to me. PF was her drug and she couldn’t go cold turkey off of him. For most women that would be a HUGE red flag, and a reason to never speak to the man again.

I am trying to imagine the circumstances that would make me disregard an obvious threat/solicitation made by my friend, or view it as a joke/not serious.

I think that ironically, I would be less aware if I knew this person for a long time. If it were my classmate or schoolmate whom I knew and trusted, it would be more difficult to realize the person has gone bonkers. The longer we know people, the more, we assume, we know them.

From this standpoint, it would be important to know for how long KK knew PF. We know it was long. But, say, if they went to HS together, or she knew him, one-off, for 10 or more years, and he used to be normal at the very beginning of their relationship, she might have had problem with interpreting his intentions in 2018.

The person who should have called LE was KK! She had all of the info that could have saved KB! She chose to not to. Blame her!!

If you want to blame someone else, blame the bff for not calling LE. The bff knew more info and rather than call LE herself she went to her employers. If she was visibly upset when she told her employers about the situation she should have stepped up and made the call to LE herself, she didn’t.

The R’s asked the bff to have KK call them, did the bff ever relay that to KK? We don’t know. Maybe they did ask the bff about it after she initially came to them and she told them not to worry about it (or something along those lines).

This kind of cut through me. Maybe the interviewer is looking for a hot take, but I was embarrassed for having listened to such an absurd question. At no point in the short clip of the interview was I wondering about a "hero". And then for Mrs. R to answer the question as if it was legitimate...

Not trying to bury the Rs, but a woman was murdered. The natural reaction should be to acknowledge what happened and express a level of regret that they didn't come forward when it mattered. I think that would have cast the Rs in a better light.

We all make mistakes. Most mistakes don't have consequences. The mistake of not following through on this information had serious consequences.

This is only a guess on my part, but from what I’ve read and understood, it appears KK did not come forward to LE on her own. I hope LE will confirm that some day, one way or the other. Perhaps LE was able to track KK through cell phone records at some point in time prior to this couple contacting the FBI. I don’t know if it’s clear yet, as there are so many confusing reports out there. JMHO

What are people’s thoughts on the takeaway from the interview that PF asked KK (aka IN) to kill KB. Why ask a woman who’s allegedly linked to you intimately to kill the mother of your child?

He's entitled and has been enabled all his life. That's my guess. Matches an opposing party in a case I have. He was spoiled (in my case) as a child and now gets all these women he dates to do his dirty work- harass my client, respond to legal stuff, lie for him, care for his child because he's too much of an irresponsible drunk, etc.

People who have been enabled as children feel entitled as adults and think nothing of having others do their bidding. It's how they navigate through life.

Someone, anyone, should have let police know. Whether police followed up or not. But this couple are the ones putting themselves on TV saying “we heard this before anyone else did” basically, and it is a bit annoying to say the least imo...

But did they know who she was? Did the BFF or this couple know Kelsey or her name? The couple appearsnot to have because they only had the name Patrick and put it together after the fact. So they said.

I am quite sure that had the BFF pressed KK for names, or, if she'd done a little sleuthing on her own; i.e. asked around as to who KK was "dating", the info. could have been readily available to the R's. **However, I believe it was common knowledge in certain cirlces who KK was involved with and BFF already knew not only Patrick's last name, but probably KB's as well.** How many BFF's talk about their lives and DON'T discuss things like this??

I have a hard time believing that the R's were helpless to push the issue due to lack of Patrick's last name.

When a person's life is at stake, and the alarm bell is rung (their employee was, according to them "visibly upset") you do your darndest to RING THAT BELL as LOUD as you can!

They are lawyers. All the more reason to sit up and take notice.

Edited to add - again, I don't want to give the impression that blame for KB's death lies with anyone but the person/people directly involved. But, I do think it's vitally important that people recognize this - if someone comes to you "visibly upset" about a claim of upcoming murder, dang, don't sit on it!
