Ugh, getting tired of the people blaming the R’s for not coming forward sooner.

The person who should have called LE was KK! She had all of the info that could have saved KB! She chose to not to. Blame her!!

If you want to blame someone else, blame the bff for not calling LE. The bff knew more info and rather than call LE herself she went to her employers. If she was visibly upset when she told her employers about the situation she should have stepped up and made the call to LE herself, she didn’t.

The R’s asked the bff to have KK call them, did the bff ever relay that to KK? We don’t know. Maybe they did ask the bff about it after she initially came to them and she told them not to worry about it (or something along those lines).
Curious - is there no duty to report for Idaho attorney's even when they hear of a potential crime second/third hand? If their employee was visibly upset enough for them to offer to speak to KK - I cannot understand them just dropping it completely but remembering it enough in December when they saw CB? This still does not make sense and further, what more can they say in these interviews - they've already said they did nothing because they didn't have enough information - so why further interviews? What more did they know that they are talking about? Something is just weird about this whole thing. IMO

I’d like to think if I were in the R’s place, I would have contacted authorities. Not knowing his last name or KB’s name is a lame excuse. A few hours online and they could probably suss it together. But if not, certainly LE could — w/phone records. Maybe KK would have folded under pressure and given his name and/or authorized access to her phone. Maybe not and they’d need a warrant. And maybe the likelihood they could get one was low. But IMO not reporting it because LE might not act is pretty stupid when a life may be at stake.

That said, I don’t know enough to fully fault the R’s for not reporting it. However, I fault them to the moon and back for going on tv and giving a 45 minute interview. There is absolutely no way LE orchestrated or encouraged this interview. In fact, I’m sure they discouraged it and bet they are thoroughly disgusted by the R’s. The R’s aren’t hero’s or whistle blowers—it can’t be spun. They’re doing it for self-centered reasons —money, attention, to “get in front of it” who knows. But certainly not for the good of the case.

IMO The R’s are low-life parasites feeding off someone else’s tragedy. Which is nothing compared to KK. At best, she’s incapable of thinking about anyone but herself. We don’t know yet the extent of her participation (if any) in the murder but we do know this woman not only didn’t contact LE, she continued to see a man who wanted someone killed. Maybe even let him hang around her kids. Who does that?

In my opinion the R's are doing the interviews because they are getting blowback from the employees support of Idaho nurse and they want people to know they called FBI as soon as they connected the dots. This whole case has a lot more to come out hopefully sooner then later just my own opinion

I agree, and add that they are doing damage control for their business.

I blame KK for not calling LE
I blame bff for not calling LE
I blame mrs. R for not calling LE
I blame Mr. R. for not calling LE
As a sleuther, I can guarantee you I could find out Patrick's
full name and address faster than you could shake a stick.
Planning, soliciting or threatening to kill someone is against
the law. Surely the attorney (s) would know this. The average
person on the street probably knows this.
If a child calls in a bomb threat towards a school, all HE11 breaks
loose. I'm sure LE would have paid a call to PF to mildly let
him know he's breaking the law by soliciting. Then let LE
handle it. Then LE notifies KB to watch her back.
No doubt, the killing could have been thwarted. No doubt.

Tippy's timeline shows the first press conference with the mother was on December 10th. That is supposedly when they started piecing things together as a couple. They called four days before the arrest, so that would have been December 17th. It doesn't look like December 17th there was any indication of major activity.

On the 18th he was at the landfill, at the 19th they were back at her residence.

Tippy, thank you so much for this to always refer to, are you interested in updating it for us all?

They tell KMVT, the FBI was already in Twin Falls and at their office quickly after making the call.
Within four days of their conversation with the FBI, Patrick Frazee had been arrested.

Look at how quickly people can uncover such things online. Local police could have figured it out, jmo.

I should have added “eye roll”.

In the first part it was told a ‘man’ then it was all I knew/heard was Patrick.

I kinda sorta think it’s possible that they could have accidently have over heard his last name. Jmo

Who was the lady who had a murder for hire plot on her husband? IIRC, someone contacted LE about it and they did a sting and she is now in jail.

Yep. LE takes these things seriously. But you gotta pick up the phone and call LE.

I think they're talking in retrospect. I mean they didn't even know anything but the name Patrick. I agree they should've called but perhaps they didn't think much of it until they saw CB on tv and put it together. "On no. There was a murder of a gal in CO. Her fiancée is named "Patrick". There is an Idaho connected.!"
Perhaps talking in retrospect, but then this interview is being fed to us in 3 parts -- another one Friday and Sunday, which is not helping understand them at all!! MOO

And then add in a 3-part "cliffhanger" style interview on top, just takes the cake right?

He's entitled and has been enabled all his life. That's my guess. Matches an opposing party in a case I have. He was spoiled (in my case) as a child and now gets all these women he dates to do his dirty work- harass my client, respond to legal stuff, lie for him, care for his child because he's too much of an irresponsible drunk, etc.

People who have been enabled as children feel entitled as adults and think nothing of having others do their bidding. It's how they navigate through life.

Maybe he was slightly odd? I am reading a book about school shooters. One of them was obviously odd (but likable!) and used to say things like "I'd love kill to be in a mafia group". He was obsessed with gangsters. But he was viewed as slightly odd so no one, including his girlfriends, took his statements seriously, they were part of the whole package, so to say. And then he shot and killed people. In hindsight, it looks scary.

I wonder if it was PF's issue. A reclusive guy, a cowboy, maybe slightly off but a good neighbor, so whatever he said was always slightly misunderstood? "Oh, you know Patrick. Patrick is Patrick". Until this happened.

My thoughts exactly. To little, much too late and merely damage control. Trying to put themselves in a good light in light of the fore knowledge. Not working for me either!
me also. and this R fellow is supposedly a "personal injury" lawyer.

Dahlia Dippolito. Took them three tries though iirc to find her guilty and she was allowed out on appeal.

My point was her husband is alive. Unlike Kelsey.

I would also be interested to see in this timeline when the reward was offered....especially in relationship to when these people say they called the FBI.

Coming up this Friday, KMVT will share what more was said in that call to the FBI and subsequent interview.

Then on Sunday the R family explains what they were told about Krystal’s alleged trip to Colorado that led investigators to execute search warrants here in Idaho.

I cannot believe the FBI/CBI are happy about this interview IMO

Just a thought that came through my head in the wee hours last night. Strange how on earlier threads we were considering someone possibly needing "protective custody." So ironic in my mind knowing what we know today, and will likely still be revealed, just how many people had some kind of knowledge of what could be in the works. It was only KB and baby K that needed protective custody :( MOO

There are three distinct timespans with regard to the Rs.

In October, their employee came to them in concern about a possible solicitation. Unclear whether they took it seriously or not, but they didn't go to LE at that time.

In December, while FBI were in the area investigating the phone ping, KK, and who knows what else, they saw CB on the news, put it together with what they heard in October, and called LE.

In January, they did this interview, ostensibly because their employee was being harrassed online.

All IMO.

I don’t know about a duty to report. Without knowing more about the bff it’s hard to say if the R’s felt there was a situation to report until they spoke with KK. Maybe the bff is overly emotional and they needed to gauge if what upset her was a viable threat? I know people that make mountains out of molehills, maybe in their experience that was her?

They only did one interview, the news channel is splitting it into segments.

....

When asked what made Patty come forward and call the FBI, she said it was when she connected the dots of who was involved and watching Kelsey’s mother Cheryl plea for help on national television.

“I think the mother that had the courage and go on TV when her daughter was missing, saying that someone knew where she was at,” Patty told KMVT. “At that point in my mind I thought that Patrick, and that was the only name I had heard him called, I didn't know his last name, had done something to her daughter and he knew where she was at.”

The Rockstahls decided to come forward to KMVT News after their employee endured harassment and threats on social media.

....

IIRC CB made public plea dec 10.

they said that they made it after the public plea on the 10th, but to get the date that they called, I backed up for days from the arrest. And that gave me the 17th. He was arrested on the 21st.

"Within four days of their conversation with the FBI, Patrick Frazee had been arrested."
