COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Patrick Frazee has officially hired criminal defense attorney Edward Farry to represent him in the wrongful death civil lawsuit filed against him by the Berreth family.
[...]
Frazee has until Jan. 29th to make a formal response.
Frazee hires Colorado Springs defense attorney to represent him for civil suit
Why would he hire a criminal defense attorney for the civil suit but not to represent him in the criminal case? Unless, I misunderstood. I thought he had a public defender for the criminal case.

The entire state of Idaho is served by the FBI office in Salt Lake City, Utah; which is 212 Highway miles distant from Hansen. There is a small contigent of less than half a dozen deputy special agents in Pocatello; which is 107 miles away. Hanson itself is 1279 people who undoubtedly ALL know KKL, her children and her parents, brothers and sisters. Undoubtedly, some of the elders knew her grandparents. Perhaps some know her dog(s).
How many government agents are required "to be crawling all over the town", searching, searching, searching?

I don't know Dave F... How many does it take to find a Killer and their Accomplices??

We are a bunch of naughty children who can't be trusted to behave ourselves. ;)
ain't it the truth! the mods are doing a great job keeping this case inbounds. i'm not completely positive about the legalities of forum operation but i vaguely remember that a few court cases have argued that forums are in effect publishers of info and might be liable for any information deemed incorrect in fact so well run/moderated forums need to do what they have to do to stay on top of it all. maybe if one of the confirmed/verified insomniacs/all-nighters with a good history would step up and get with the program to cover the overnight time things might possibly change. ?

I’m thinking he met a lot of women. We rodeo just like the boys do.

Understanding.

And we city women used to daydream of handsome cowboys, such as Maurice Gerald from “The Headless Horseman” by Mayne Reid. But those cowboys were noble and loyal. Not like PF.

Well, don’t go to bed. Even though you’ve corrected & explained, I’m guessing there will be hundreds of “Indiana, who went there, was there a murder” posts. Reminiscent of last night, the KK/bff confusion & who was emotional. Unbelievable.

:) :) :)

Me in the morning, “Indiana? What the heck? Did I miss something? Sleuthers, what happened in Indiana?”

I grew up in rodeo, my family had a dairy farm, and also hay farms. I know the PF types like the back of my hand. He's a 'smooth operator' to the gals that don't really know. Funny thing is.. I can't find any significant team roping results for him. He's not really a big 'player' in that game. But it seems like he might talk like he is with the ladies that don't know much different. <puke>

I found info on wrong sites, maybe msm will pick more stuff up, then we can discuss. Some horses I’ve seen him on, I would love to have in my barn.

What bothers me, was KB so naive she could not detect vibes (if they existed) & get him out of her life. So she bought a house, it could have been rented, she could work elsewhere, etc., so, did she have hopes they would one day be together? I don’t feel she ever expected he would move in with her. Cowboys don’t leave the ranch. (Unless they go to prison). That’s literally taking a fish out of water. He apparently lived & breathed the cowboy life. Jmo
If he mistreated her, why stick around since she seemed to be on her own, anyway.
I want to know....did KB/KK have any relationship. Did P ever introduce K to KK. If KK went to KBs would KB invite her in. If KK called KB to arrange a meeting (we all know how chicks sometimes do this), would KB agree?
I really wanna know what day KK arrived in CO.

Mostly, I wanna know that KB will be found.

Daydreamed about the Headless Horseman? You city women need to get out in the fresh air more often. ;)

This info was removed from MSM, probably because they got some info and didn't have it all fully verified and ran with it- most likely with video that wasn't the actual video. Store manager phoned in and said hey, that's not the video we sent in. Not saying that some of the info they had wasn't correct but it wouldn't have been taken out of MSM play if it was all accurate and verifiable
thanks for the info, i had not heard that. so, it's something like KK was here and we did send in video but it was not the video on the segment. so the tv segment was showing a representation only of KK sonic visit [and actual visit may differ]. ?

He can’t get a PD in CO, maybe?

Let's hear your theory!

I’m still thinking Granny.
Thus far, it’s vastly dif than the majority here.
Before I can write the final chapter, I need a few more details up to Thanksgiving.

Ok, I have 1 simple comment/question:

Aside from the stupidity of planning & carrying out a murder, how VERY STUPID was it to kill her in her own home? Initially, when all this just broke and LE was searching the ranchette, etc., everyone was chattering and speculating about the millions of remote, outdoor places where PF could have disposed of her body. Obviously, an indisputable fact. So if you were PF, why wouldn't you just commit the murder in the wilderness to begin with? With the vastness of the land outside town, why commit the crime indoors and leave evidence???

I guess the answer must be that you have to have the wacko mind of a murderer, which, Thank God, I was spared.
i think that line of thought might be a good defense argument for reasonable doubt but in answer i'd say maybe that was PF's plan, to take her out in the wilderness that afternoon/evening and she simply said no, don't want to do that, sorry, have a good time, me and the baby are staying home. so PF had no choice.

The court doesn't appoint attorneys in civil cases. He'll need to respond or he'll lose by default.

Peppermint Patty, thanks for the like. PF has been roping since at least high school, but his competition is limited to the small mountain rodeos. His mother grew up on a small ranch somewhere between Divide and Denver, but went to high school in Colorado Springs and studied nursing at Memorial Hospital where she has spent most, if not all, of her career. Her husband was from Kansas, but started building a place neat Florissant while serving in the Air Force. They raised their older kids less than two blocks away from her work, and he kept the house when they split. Cattle folk up there don't own land to run them on. They bid on high altitude BLM grazing permits and run a special strain of registered black angus. They graze at 7000 to 9500 feet where there are no fences, The cattlemen take turns acting as 24 hour drovers, like the original 1860's Texas vaquero's. They use cattle dogs extensively, which PF is one of the best at raising and training. His dogs go in the $2500 price range. The beef sale yard is at Divide, then I think it is quick butchered, flash-frozen and air freighted to Japan. The catttle are raised in groups and sold in groups. Individual owners have no say in when they go to market. If KB was truly waiting for PF's cattle market to come back, she was fooling herself. At the very least, her Mom was fooled.

Yes, the "BFF" was on FB groups talking about KK weeks ago on the dreaded Facebook, circulating info. seems she wanted attention.
I'm so happy that you've come back!

She used her credit card at Sonic sometime on Thanksgiving weekend.
