I think everyone is genuinely trying to understand. It is confusing as heck. Thanks for explaining it.

They knew Kelsey was missing because KK told her bff that Kelsey was missing. The bff then approached her employer (the Rs) and said 'that person, she's missing, she's also a pilot.'

Part Two: Twin Falls couple discusses tough call to FBI
But that is inconsistent with the narrative PF was trying to create by having KK take KB's phone to ID (if this is true). She wasn't missing on Nov. 26 according to the texts the phone sent to her employer (and PF), just taking some time off. So if BFF M told the Rs that KB was missing on Nov. 26, she knew that KB wasn't just missing. MOO

I hope this is not a trend

Oxygen headline
couple claims that Idaho nurse was taken advantage of by Kelsey Berreth’s fiancé”

And

“Patrick Frazee had hold over nurse in Kelsey Berreth case”, couple claims”

Nothing new, just misleading click bait headlines. And Oxygen isn’t the most reliable place around, but I sure hope others don’t blindly follow that tactic. Deflecting.

MOO
Absolutely nauseating. I hate the spin doctors. I hate that the Berreth family has to endure these lies being shown as "news".

YES that is my whole point. There were two texts sent we know that for a fact as stated by LE. Sent of 25th from KB's phone saying she would be gone for a week so until Dec 2nd.

This just a horrible prospect.

Occam's Razor is not applying to this case...at all.

Yes, and hearing them act like heroes on TV for being “whistleblowers” while in reality, they just blindsided the family and are saying they could have prevented KB’s murder? Just....omg. I can’t type what I really think, but it’s the lowest of low to an already hurting family.

I have to think Contamination of the Jury Pool is part of this atrocious behavior

My guess is this is exactly what the R's were hoping for by going public. I'm not worried about those sources but it will be interesting to see how the more credible news outlets headline it.

Unless…. BFF M did some poking around on FB, found KB's page, and noticed that her family were posting "Kelsey, where are you?" messages on her page. That could have happened. But the Rs didn't say that's what happened, so MOO.

I'm not sure KK had the intellect to implement the narrative. Remember that she used her credit card at the Woodland Park Sonic on the weekend Kelsey was murdered. She also (very likely) drove Kelsey's stolen phone to Idaho and then pinged it within 30 miles of her own home.

The sensational click-bait stuff is just going to get worse.

If so, this begs the question of why on Earth would they want to do such a thing?

Hey everybody ... please watch your off topic posts. Just had to remove 20+ posts on changing an avatar.

Threads are dedicated to discussion of the case at hand. Please take your off topic discussions to private messaging.

Thanks.

I don't find this hard to believe at all. I'm just having a difficult time reconciling the R woman saying she saw it on facebook and that prompted her to reach out to her employee. It very well could have been the way you surmise, which would then mean R woman is lying--which is a possibility.

How she happened to stumble upon the correct FB baffles me.
Hopefully, this chaos isn’t such for the R law firm, his clientele suffers. I might be inclined to change lawyers, if he’s representing me. Moo

Would the R's be seriously risking their professional career and reputation to taint a jury pool? For what reason would they do this? I know the BFF M is an employee of theirs, but am I missing something other than that? If not, they darn sure should get out of the legal business IMO.

Mrs. R. wouldn't have been able to stumble on the correct FB page... but BFF M could have found it like this: KK > PF > KB. MOO.

Still catching up... while we are all confused and outraged by the revelations of the R's regarding the FB rumors and dates, the print article has the R's specifically stating that KK was in possession of KB's phone.

Part Two: Twin Falls couple discusses tough call to FBI

"..."She (Krystal) had the phone," said Patty. "She was probably instructed to send those texts by Patrick but that's-- there's nobody else that could've sent those texts to my knowledge." ..."

Oh Really?

Well on one hand, you would think that the parent that was spending less time with the baby would do more financially to help, so maybe their set up was that KB would provide diapers and snacks. On the other hand, you would think that if CB was off work for the holiday weekend that she would have the baby for those days.

But...they were a couple, according to her mom. Have we decided to dismiss that?

I haven't. I think both CB and KB thought they were a couple. And I am going to stick with that unless and until we have definitive information to the contrary, which probably won't happen until the trial. MOO

Holy Hellz batman. I feel like I'm in Twilight Zone, how can this be happening?
