Would the R's be seriously risking their professional career and reputation to taint a jury pool? For what reason would they do this? I know the BFF M is an employee of theirs, but am I missing something other than that? If not, they darn sure should get out of the legal business IMO.

The only way they'd be willing to do such a thing is if they a personally invested in the outcome of this case.

Occam's Razor says they went public because they wanted to generate publicity for their business. Hey, look at us--we're whistleblowers, honorable and venerable we are.

But as we've established, Occam is sipping tequila on this one.

Not really sure. The only thing I can think of is that they really believe in the employee and really think KK was a victim so want to help her look good in the public eye. We know in the first interview the R's say they came forward because the employee (and KK maybe) were being bashed or harrassed on SM. Maybe turning that narrative around is their motivation, and being in the spotlight is appealing?

I had the same thought last night. I wondered if KK's parents have some money, did they hire the R's as a P.R. firm to run interference, and is that ethical?

They are attorneys. They can't pleade ignorance in their "altruism"

This is all very very hinky. I don't think Sunday's episode of the same interview will clear things up at all.

Although it might very well place KK in very close proximity to the scene of the crime.

Unless…. BFF M did some poking around on FB, found KB's page, and noticed that her family were posting "Kelsey, where are you?" messages on her page. That could have happened. But the Rs didn't say that's what happened, so MOO.

KB's page was pretty closed down. They would have to be a friend or a friend of a friend depending on what privacy settings KB had in order to see such posts. There certainly weren't any messages like you describe on KB's FB page.

Wow that is a deeply disturbing thought. I can see a bff defending a friend on SM but this is a next step level of unprofessional crazy IMO

In my opinion what I think happened was Idaho nurse sent the texts did what ever to the pH on the 25 ,then she called her bff saying omg what did I do do ..the 26 the bff tells her employee they issue the ultimatum for her to tell Idaho to go to le . They are now trying to save face but it's backfiring and blowing up big time I could of kinda understood if they figured it out on Dec 10 but to know right after they did it and not say anything I think they opened themselves to a way bigger problem

Maybe. Still can't rule it out just yet. Obviously we aren't dealing uber geniuses here. They didn't see anything at Kelsey's that seemed suspicious, or find anything at mini ranch. Then all of a sudden after the dump run they went back to Kelsey's and Bam. Makes me think evidence was hidden in places other than where LE would obviously look.
There must have been something at the dump,That led them back to Kelsey's.

I lean toward the dump run was a nothingburger. PF has a life, a normal routine. I think he just drove and the dumped trash wasn't even his but belonged to the other guys. Maybe the date was agreed to previously.

I believe LE got some preliminary lab results or a witness statement that sent them back to the condo and then the arrest.

ETA: Just trying to follow the timeline. Also anything from the dump would not have been lab analyzed yet - they were likely still just sorting it when PF was arrested.

Only if
A) Her page was public. There are two options: public or private. Even friends of my friends can't see what is posted on my page.
B) Kelsey was friends with her, KK, or someone else they knew that could pull her page up and look right at it.

Now B is interesting---I now wonder if Kelsey had mutual friends with any of these people--or worse, was friends with any of these people.

Still catching up... while we are all confused and outraged by the revelations of the R's regarding the FB rumors and dates, the print article has the R's specifically stating that KK was in possession of KB's phone.

And it's just said so....casually.... as if there was nothing wrong with having the phone of a murdered woman in your possession, 700 miles away from her home.

As if there was a rational explanation for having this very very personal item of a woman who was your romantic rival and the woman your boyfriend had asked YOU to murder?

What can LE possibly be thinking of this situation.....
