Would the R's be seriously risking their professional career and reputation to taint a jury pool? For what reason would they do this? I know the BFF M is an employee of theirs, but am I missing something other than that? If not, they darn sure should get out of the legal business IMO.
The only way they'd be willing to do such a thing is if they a personally invested in the outcome of this case.
Occam's Razor says they went public because they wanted to generate publicity for their business. Hey, look at us--we're whistleblowers, honorable and venerable we are.
But as we've established, Occam is sipping tequila on this one.
