FWIW, I think there are a lot of women who, at one time, have thought how easy it would be just to walk away from all the stress and craziness. Having a career, raising children, keeping and maintaining a household and schedule, financial responsibilities, trying to make everybody happy every day. Social, family, school and work demands. This can be doubled or halved, depending on the help & cooperation of the husband. Twenty nine y/o, new home, baby, financial responsibilities. questionable relationships with partner and families. That is a lot, unless you have a good support system and are happy doing what you're doing. I come from a large family, and we're generally loving & supportive of each other. But most of my sisters, at one time or another, have voiced how they wish they could walk away. It sounds to me like she was a hard worker, loved her baby, but was pretty isolated. MOO
