Does anyone have knowledge that KB had ever met any of PF's family?

Do those of us who don't know them have evidence of that? No. But it stands to reason his family knows and has met KB. There are photos of PF holding their daughter out in public places with others around. And at least one photo floating around the media with PF, KB and their daughter as a newborn. How would PF be explaining the baby he was suddenly taking care of (and has been for over a year) if his family has never met KB? His family supposedly helps with childcare. Why would KB allow her daughter to be watched by people she has never met? And KB's dad mentioned that sometimes KB spends the night at PF's house to be near her daughter. We can't sleuth him but PF doesn't live alone. I doubt he smuggled KB and the baby in and out a terrace window like Romeo and Juliet. For 2 years. MOO.

I agree with you. That said, "active" infers activity, right?

Yeah, that must be the implication. They are saying that he phone was used after she was last seen.

It doesn’t mean that it was continuously active though, as that would have been a big deal, and thus reported by the rest of the media.

They’d be able to track her movements of that was the case.

I’m assuming that her phone went dark on Thanksgiving, and was turned back on for a brief period 3 days later.

That she did not take her car is indeed perplexing. If she wanted to leave no trail, maybe she took a cab, paid cash -- totally anonymous "get away." If so, she really wanted some time to herself, but she said, if she said, "one week"
to her employer. (But no make-up? Are there clothes missing?) Damm, this is hard to figure. Maybe she meant a week (if indeed she wrote it), and got into trouble somehow, or disappeared on purpose. Just odd and/or scary.

CB lives in Idaho and said the two of them talked on the phone twice on Thanksgiving. The call got interrupted because Kelsey had to take care of her 14-month-old daughter. CB said nothing sounded out of the ordinary in those conversations.

“She’s been happy,” CB said. “She’s been wanting to decorate for Christmas and was excited about that, but she thought she thought maybe her fiancee and Kaylee were planning to get the Christmas tree themselves. And so, she’s been holding off on buying something.”

What does active mean exactly? Does it mean it was on and she was communicating with people on the phone between the 22nd and 25th? If the phone was active wouldn't there be more pings they can look at?

I think all we know for sure is that there were two text messages sent on the 25th and that is the last known time the phone was used. Imo

It's reported that KB moved to Colorado 2 years ago. Although not confirmed, it's believed PF's entire family lives in the area, and that PF lives with him Mum--who likely assists with childcare of their daughter. I'd say that in the course of 2 years, KB has met PF family.

Seriously. If she wanted to end her life or simply get very far away very quickly she could have taken the plane. A plane crash in the mountains would be the perfect method to always let her family think it had been an accident-- if she was feeling that way. No way am I buying Kelsey grabbed her purse and walked away from her townhome on her own. MOO.

I feel like that is just awkwardly worded? That yes, it pinged in Idaho on November 25, and texts were sent from it, so it was active after she was last seen on November 22. I don't think that People Magazine has any secret information of the phone being actively used in that time in between. JMO.

It is awkwardly worded. But the writer added a qualifier which wouldn't be necessary if the phone was "inactive".

Maybe she didn't disappear on Thanksgiving Day. The texts weren't sent from her phone for three days. Maybe her phone was active from her home during that three day period and then pinged in Idaho during the latter part of the third day, and then nothing after that.

Here’s a pretty solid timeline as to how this case developed. It’s from earlier today, and I can’t find any innnacuracies in it (important considering what we’ve seen lately).

“Cheryl said she spoke with her daughter twice on Thanksgiving, including once when Kelsey needed the details of a recipe.

“Her voice was fine,” her mother said. “It was a normal day for her.”

Cheryl said her daughter did not live with her fiance, Frazee, with whom she has a 1-year-old daughter, but that they have a strong bond.

“The relationship has been good,” said Cheryl. “They’re loving.”

Good point. When you couple that with the phrase “exchanging custody,” it doesn’t speak well to the health of their relationship.

After all that about the meaning of the cinnamon buns, it turns out she ate them for breakfast and left the leftovers on the stovetop. Not baking to go to a Thanksgiving event, not left untouched after taking them out of the stove.

Ha! I originally misread your post and thought it stated "She discussed leaving WITH HER BOSS" ~ That would have definitely been a new twist.... Time for me to call it a night???? Sorry guys!
