It is closed, I believe once snow falls. You could maybe get an ATV past, but it's bad enough in good conditions.

Oh wow. So different phones maybe do that and so maybe it is possible it was just a bad mistake that the Idaho tower was used. The person maybe never intended to have their own Idaho tower being used.

Not sure if this is the case with a small town local independently owned station. I think it is a different animal. And from the reactions I have read on this forum and others, that reporter and the R's have had some hatred thrown their way. I just want to hear the raw story. I think that because we have such little information, we are jumping on any information and not in a good way. I am ready to get off all of the forums and rely on my twitter feed and news. This is getting crazy. The spin is going to really dark and bizarre places and accusations that have no reasoning. Hindsight is 20/20. We just dont know what the real story is so we are making others out to be the bad guy. IMO

If L.e had found anything that might be human remains at PF’s...they would have been out there for days, with forensics and anthropologists etc...not just collect them and send to the lab. That did not happen imo.

You'd think but what if they went right for a fire pit and sent samples for DNA testing asap. If it could be confirmed it was KB, would they search more than an acre around there? Maybe bring in an anthropologist.

Yes, but as far as I've read, they are not representing their employee, so shouldn't be speaking on anyone's behalf, imho. they are just (trying to) cover their own behinds or seeking $.

Amateur here, but I think in a case where the body is not intact, they call in an anthropologist, too, for the bones.

Lots of cliffs and switchbacks with steep ledges, and as another poster mentioned, tons of wildlife including bears, bobcats, mountain lions, ect. No houses for miles.

When I was out flying my drones a week ago I came back to the Springs on Gold Camp Road. Gold Camp Road goes from Hwy 67 (which connects Cripple Creek - Divide) to southern Colorado Springs. And Divide is halfway between Woodland Park (KB) and Florissant (PF). Although I have video of the entire drive on my dashcam (probably make you sick) I will pull out a bunch of stills from the video and post them. You will be able to see the sheer dropoffs on the edge of the road. I will try to get these posted tomorrow. But yes, there are places where a body tossed over the side of the road would go down an extremely long ways.

All that was reported was that CB called PF and he said he hadn’t seen her since the 22nd. I realize the Aunt was told she was going to visit family- by whom I can’t recall.
LE has kept the dialogue of PF and CB’s phonecall secret. I would love to know all that was said. It was much more than—I haven’t seen her since the 22nd. Oh, ok then. Goodbye. I have a pretty good idea what he said.

I saw on Google maps that it went further, I've been too scared to drive any further on that road than Woodland Park. Look forward to your drone images! eta: Isn't Rampart Range road closed now due to the snow? Or is that only from the Springs to Woodland Park? It is blocked off at the Garden of The Gods.

So it wouldn't take alot of effort?

This seems like the easiest way to dispose of something, so the only risk would be transporting which you would have to do anyway if it happened at KB's like LE think.

Are the roads busy? If you did it at night would you risk a car coming along in 10 min and seeing what you were doing? I would just think if it was difficult it might take a bit of time and you wouldn't want to be caught in the act by a passing car.

Are there similar roads with drop offs off the main roads?

None of her neighbors, including the fellow living in the 5th wheel 30 yards away mentioned a horse trailer near her townhouse, and we've seen from the photos done by our Favorite Local Hero that a horse trailer would be visible to anyone along that street.

Not to say that her body couldn't have been transported out of the driveway in a vehicle like a pickup truck and then transferred into a horse trailer elsewhere. But no one remembers any other car along the road that day or night. It seems a clumsy option with room for mistakes - like someone along that lane seeing a big truck with Idaho plates.

May I add to by jumping off your post on the trash? (And I totally agree! )
We owned a home just out side a city limits in colorado for over 20 years that did not have trash service, we put our bags in --our horse trailer-- . We went to the dump every few weeks depending on the temperatures and if the trash might smell/begin to attract rodents. That said, though we were out of city limits it was quite visible from the city and we did not want complaints, so burning trash was/is not looked upon as ok ( yadda yadda, better idea to haul it to the landfill) as well as wildfires became an extreme threat no way we would risk a spark floating away.

Murder charges?, Was he dense enough to dump her remains or ashes or whatever.... Or was he? Still, unloading our trash from a horse trailer was the norm for us for a couple decades. But I REALLY do hope he was actually dense enough to take things to the dump that were found and will convict him (and his accomplices).

My understanding is it was PF who said KB was going to washington to visit family- it may have been the aunt who passed that on , not sure.

There has to be a reason they are keeping secret the text that PF said he got from KB. They said what her employer received.

And yes, i can't imagine the commuication between PF and CB..
