Does anyone know if it costs money to do a court records search in CO? I created an account but it’s asking for a credit card before searches can be performed.
Sounds like you're on a commercial site that DOES charge $$.
Try searching around for county, city, clerk of court records.

Bingo! Why didn't I think of that? We're so used to knowing KKLRQ & PF are connected that we forget the only reason that came to light is because she was running her trap to her girlfriend. He thought nobody knew about their connection and, certainly, wouldn't think she'd be so stupid as to go blabbing about something so nefarious. WRONG!
I believe the FBI showed up at KK's house before The R's came forward.
I think they knew where it went,or about where as soon as they stated it could have been a 'false' ping. They did that to make whoever had the Hot Idaho Spud comfortable enough to keep it,and send more messages. Remember it was stated at some point in time that several messages were sent from KB's phone. I take that means more than the one to DOSS,and one to PF.
They were so desperate to make it look like KB was still alive, out there somewhere.
That's how they found her,and showed up her door with the search warrant. Per what MRS.R said in interview.

I am concerned about them cutting a deal to early with KK, too. What I have seen is that deals are broken if the cooperating person is caught having lied about anything or omitted anything. It happens because people still want to downplay their participation. I won't give the example here because it will be repeated as fact.

I totally agree and have seen it before too. LE has the agreements written up very carefully by lawyers and there usually is wording that can make the agreement null and void if the person getting the deal is not truthful or if that person was an active participant in the murder itself, if they are claiming they did not participate in the killing.

This could be the reason there is this long delay now with no news about KK. LE is probably fact checking everything and trying to make sure she is not more involved than she is claiming.

Right?! There won’t be any teary hugs of gratitude on behalf of the Bs.......for the Rs to even assume the Bs would want to meet them is beyond presumptuous and ridiculous.
Arrogant.

The FBI and DA know what they’re doing. They are going to get what they need from this country bumpkin or they will lock her up and throw away the key. And I believe they know exactly what they need from her. If she’s not fully cooperating, her clock is ticking. They may have gotten what they needed already and she’ll be arrested soon. If there is a third person involved, maybe they are using her to complete their investigation of the person and they will be arrested at the same time. Lots of possibilities but I have confidence that whatever it is, the FBI is on top of it and no one who was involved is walking free.

Thanks, Jethro. I should have been more specific. I was referring to the cocourts.com site.
That site is run by LexisNexis. That was the one I was referring to.

I would imagine at this point there has been a mountain of discovery given to the defense. While we see nothing going on, a lot of stuff is happening behind the scenes.

I am glad the brother is exposing them for what they are!

Is there any way they could be charged as well as accomplices? I am guessing since they are attorneys it would be hard to do so, they'll probably find a loophole in their favor.

I have never seen a case where a news station would interview third-hand information in this manner. Since, these two seem to know the information and were concerned it makes you really wondered why they would say you have twenty-four hours to report then blindly trust a person knee deep in a suspected missing persons case or worse case at the time a homicide.

We did - past tense. It was published in some article, and I think it has been changed. It was quoted in posts here on WS though that all 3 solicitations were to KK. iirc it was in the R's interviews. I'll check my posts to see which thread it was discussed. BBL
Meanwhile, somewhere @PommyMommy Spidey senses are tingling… Get ready for information any moment now

I've wondered what the chances are that a phone could be turned on accidentally, like if it were disposed of on a road and driven over, thrown over a cliff, or hit with a hammer. Pure speculation.

It could but texts were sent it now appears to KB's family, work, and PF. They needed it to ping so it looked like she was traveling on her own.

Do we have written evidence that the three solicitation charges were all with the nurse? (mind must be going here for a reason)
Toward the end of thread#26, it became common knowledge about 3 solicitation attempts of KK. There was a lot of discussion from page 61:

I’m waiting to hear directly from the sealed affidavits who he solicited. The news and their ‘sources’ aren’t always accurate.

IDK about that. The defense had to beg just to get the arrest warrant probable cause affidavits. Does anyone know for certain when the discovery is actually turned over? I thought it would be after the 1/29 court date that has been moved to 2/19 when PF is expected to enter a plea to the charges?

Has anyone been tracking the status of the guy in Idaho that was arrested for murder conspiracy that was discussed briefly a few threads back? Any updates?

From watching past trials it seems the judge and attorneys for both sides have to work out the scheduling of everything. The trial dates, the dates of when Prosecution has to be done turning over all discovery, etc.

The common thing I have seen is the Defense always complaining they are not getting discovery soon enough or not getting all of it or getting it in parts.

There was one case I cant recall which one where the Prosecution purposely gave the Defense tons of information all on CDs and the kicker was it seemed to be purposely scrambled on the CDs and not in any particular order. Forcing the Defense to go through tons of information to make sense of it and find what they needed.

Someone asked several pages back about the prelim and what it will entail. Sorry, I don’t remember who it was.

Essentially, the point of the prelim is that the prosecution puts forth their case and what they believe it will show so that the judge can determine if there is probable cause for the case to be carried over. So during prelim the prosecution definitely shows their hand. They can put on witnesses and question them. Think of it like a mini trial, except instead of a verdict, the judge determines if the case will in fact go to trial or if there is no probable cause and the suspect must be released.

Don’t worry - that’s not happening here!
