I never thought about it in that way but it actually makes more sense she was mentioning that KB was a pilot too. Hmmmm

I took it like, “she’s missing....she’s also a pilot”, implying she left in a plane. If that’s what the murderer thought, I guess they fail to realize, people report planes missing, huh?
My guess is if the R’s knew KK flew to CO, they would have blabbed. I think renting a car was “too risky” for KK. We all know what that’s like, ID, proof of insurance, as well as other personal info. IMO, even if KK had not disposed of evidence & was in CO, she still would have captured LE attention. Too many people know of her relationship with P. I think their relationship details will surprise many, based on what I’ve read. Jmo

My guess would be the purse will be there as well if they find her in the landfill. Because it seems a perp would not want to spread evidence around in too many places because its more of a chance for people to find stuff.

I hope if this is true and they do find her purse both KK’s and PF’s fingerprints are on it.

One thing for sure is the media never shows up in droves like that unless they have a pretty good scoop that searching that landfill is about to begin.

My guess is even if its not today, then very soon there will be a full blown search of that landfill. LE will probably force the reporters back so far that they cannot get too close. I would not be surprised if LE even sets up a "no fly zone" around the area so no news places can get drone shots for their news.

Based on the Gazette reporting, it sounds like this hasn’t been confirmed to be connected to KBs case.

Search warrant issued for landfill; Kelsey Berreth connection unclear

KKTV and other TV stations have connected the warrant to the search for Kelsey Berreth, but The Gazette has been unable to officially confirm that connection.


The 4th Judicial District Attorney's Office did not immediately respond for comment. Colorado Bureau of Investigation communications director Susan Medina on Thursday declined to comment on the warrant or confirm whether it was related to the Berreth case.​

Is there actually a search going on?

Not yet that we know of, but it sure looks inevitable that it will happen doesn't it. News media vehicles show up in droves today. And based on the WM spokesperson's words....

"Spitza wouldn't say when the search would take place or what investigators were looking for."

I said I wasn't going to comment on the RR's, and now I'm breaking that rule. To me, "little girls go missing from the playground all the time" is not something that I ever heard said in Colorado, and I heard some pretty desperate threats. I am happy to believe that a person or persons who were raised in Kooskia, Idaho; spent several years in Fresno, California and moved back to Twin Falls, Idaho might have heard it said at sometime in more colorful lives than I have lived. Maybe Mrs. R was paraphrasing.

However, with all due respect, there are over 5 million people in CO so I'm not sure how anyone could possible know the words or phrases everyone uses or why it would be a more common thing to say in ID or CA than CO.

All we have to go on right now are rumors. What if she had nothing to do with this? Do you really take anything the Rs said as fact? I say that because they are the only ones talking.

In my mind, I had KK hanging from a rope on a tree. Then I thought of how we could all be wrong. LE is not parting with information. We just know someone in Idaho had Kelsey’s phone. What if the R’s just jumped on that rumor and ran with it?

Any ideas of who else it could be? Earlier you mentioned an equine website I think but we cannot use anything that isn’t mainstream. We are all lost dangling in the dark.
