Easier to hide one's real self from a distance IMO. Hi mustloveco, good to 'see' you!Something enticing for PF about long distance love.

When was the first freeze in the area? I did think it was odd that they had done so much digging at the Frazee land during the search, apparently the ground wasn't frozen yet?Yes, it was quite warm on Thanksgiving, during the day. And drops pretty chilly at night, like classic Colorado weather. It was a warm weekend.
Not 100% but I remember we got snow pretty early. When was the first freeze in the area? I did think it was odd that they had done so much digging at the Frazee land during the search, apparently the ground wasn't frozen yet?
IMO what a pathetic relationship. To be running 12+ hours to see PF, leaving her kids at home or with whoever. IMO she was quite obsessed with PF. Probably made that loser PF feel like a god, so manly, having women pining after him, going far lengths to be with him. What a winner. And he is a classic narcissist manipulator, probably elevating her and making her feel amazing too. KB probably realized the craziness she got herself into. Was probably done with his BS. She was mature. He was not. Perhaps he used KK to make KB feel jealous. all imo jmo moo
True. You don’t move many hundreds of miles, pursue a relationship, have a child, and expect it to end like this.BBM: mustloveco, I couldn't agree more with this. IMO, KB was wise to PF's act, i.e., his impersonation of an actual human being, long, looooong ago. I think her eyes were opened wide shortly after he "moved her out there" to CO and then proceeded to continue living at home with mommy so that she could keep his bed made, his tighty whities washed, his boots polished, etc.
I feel so incredibly sad for KB, because I think she had such hopes and dreams about this "relationship" at the beginning, and I think she was completely sucker-punched when it hit her, and by "it," I am of course referring to PF's moronic self.
All JMO.
Okay, so I am new here and have been lurking for a bit. I have to say that the way people talk about KK is frustrating, imo. From what I can gather she is a garbage person, who at the very least helped hide evidence, but who cares if she is fat, ugly, etc? I feel like this always gets piled on women... She was jealous of her lover's wife. Okay, I get you... but why bring her appearance into it? She was jealous because her lover was with someone else... I bet she would be just as jealous if she weighed 110.
Sorry, my first post was a tangent. It just feels sexist and gross.
All MOO
whuuutt??A friend just reminded me CWs son was going to be named Nico, after his gf.
How about baby K being named after KL? Say it out loud.
Just a thought.
The ground rarely freezes in southern Colorado. In my lifetime, I have operated the business end of a shovel for a living, in Colorado Springs, in the winter. IMOWhen was the first freeze in the area? I did think it was odd that they had done so much digging at the Frazee land during the search, apparently the ground wasn't frozen yet?
Well MassGuy, the truth is you don’t know and neither do I. One explanation is as good as the other. And both explantations are possible. In the Watts case, there was absolutely no evidence that the baby was named after the mistress, nor that CW chose that name. One of Shanann’s closest friends had the name “Nichole.” CW’s middle name is “Lee.”
So “Nico Lee” makes sense.
Kelsey’s first name (obviously) begins with a “K.” The baby’s name also begins with “K.”
Despite the fact that the mistress’ name also begins with a “K,” it is a stretch to read anything into this.
It’s pointless, unlikely, and unknowable.
Which is precisely why the speculation is pointless.Well MassGuy, the truth is you don’t know and neither do I. One explanation is as good as the other. And both explantations are possible.
OK, I'm feeling that was a stupid question, but I had to askI just have this gut feeling she's desperately trying to save herself while throwing him under the bus, not that he doesn't belong there.
It would be easy enough to check flight plan filings on the dates/areas involved. I'm not so sure about a complicit pilot though. Anything is possible...but the more folks involved, the more likely someone is going to talk. I think most people feel driving is a more private means of travel. We all know that with receipt trails, surveillance cameras,ets..that just isnt the truth..but it feels like the truth.
<modsnipped name of minor> As MassGuy reminded me, she was likely named that because of her mom being named Kelsey. KB likely chose the name. My friend just thought it was quite the coincidence.whuuutt??
Is that her name?
Yes. But fun to speculate. IMO. Ha!Which is precisely why the speculation is pointless.
Yeah weird.<modsnipped> As MassGuy reminded me, she was likely named that because of her mom being named Kelsey. KB likely chose the name. My friend just thought it was quite the coincidence.
It was a perfect setup for him. A “fiancé” who didn’t live with him, and a girlfriend who lived hundreds of miles away.
Distance is a friend of secrecy.
whuuutt??

Agree that it was a perfect setup for PF. Could get the admiration and ego boost from KB and KK, and not to be underestimated, from his mother. It was a perfect setup for him. A “fiancé” who didn’t live with him, and a girlfriend who lived hundreds of miles away.

I agree, I believe they have a truck load of evidence against him, with or without her talking. I'm just finding myself suspicious of KKL and how she may try to mitigate the charges coming her way by telling some fibs or outright lies since I feel she is in so much deeper than the just the phone. As MG said, it's only natural for her to try and deflect as much of the blame away from herself. I'm confident LE and the DA know what they're doing.Whenever you go there, step back and remember that to get an arrest warrant signed by a judge you have to have some good evidence to back it up.
They searched PF's farm more than once. They searched KB's house multiple times. They took evidence- from all of these locations including the transfer station. They have lots of digital evidence.
The LE were confident in his arrest, and were way ahead of the media and anyone on websites. They knew how complicated the case was and that they were also going to have to sift through personal statements and do follow up to determine the extent of involvement of others and decide if there were going to be additional arrests.
Unless it is in a DV situation, with history of DV. It is rare there is a spousal murder where everyone is saying Yeah, we could see he was a monster.
In most cases everyone thinks the guy was a nice guy, a good father, maybe a little quiet and not very social. And guess what, then they find out he was a murderer.
And generally when they look into his past a bit there is a history of either jealousy or affairs. It's usually just as simple as that.
Why they think they need to kill when they have affairs, I don't understand. The jealousy, is a if I can't have you, no one will.
I think PF will fall into the affairs. KL enabled it to happen. By being willing to have him broach her 3x to kill KB, that makes it more ok in his eyes. She obviously didn't completely shut him down. On top of that she may have played a more integral role- did it evolve to complete partnership in the murder? Or was she complicit and then helped in various ways.
Oh my gosh!A friend just reminded me CWs son was going to be named Nico, after his gf.
