Role of KK:

I know that some of you think that KK had a major role in everything. Suppose she never
initially agreed to be helpful and told PF he was wrong, but at some point he called her and said he needed to see her desperately. Suppose he convinced her to come see him- passion intrigue, the holidays, whatever and when she drives 800 miles, he says OK, I did it; I need your help; get rid of these things. She is surprised, shocked, confused and she then goes along with his requests. Too late to prevent anything, too informed to be totally ignorant, too weak to go to LE and scared. (Just a thought not even an opinion, throwing it out there.)

That crossed my mind as well but what keeps coming back is the information from her BFF that she was asked 3x by PF to kill KB.

Her BFF begged her not to go.

I think at that point any normal female would be cutting off all contact with this deranged man and letting KB know as well as LE. Then add in the potential threats and that she thought he had done it in the past as well.

If the information from BFF to the R's is accurate. KK knew the kind of man that PF was. She knew he was capable of killing. She knew he wanted her help. She knew he wasn't giving up on his idea.

If you know all of that and you continue to talk with him about murder, then nothing comes as a suprise.

You were part of it in advance, even if you didn't know the day it was happening.

If what we know is true or partially true.

So nothing about the landfill? What the heck is going on with this case ? How awful for KB family IMO

i thought solicitation is a crime in and of itself. i also thought that one can be charged with solicitation even if the person you request to do the crime refuses and the actual crime is never committed.

Doesn’t some step toward moving forward to do it have to be taken? I could’ve sworn something beyond just asking had to be done. Maybe I dreamed that??

Ha!! That would involve talking! Maybe he can get a mind reader to translate for him. ;)
Haha. But think about the tax dollars it could save!

A mind reader would be nice about now. No one* seems to be talking!

*that matters. The Rs do not count.

My very first theory was he thought Kelsey might be moving on with another man. I'm not sure how I feel about that now.

Maybe it was the idea of another man and his daughter? So it didn't even have to be that KB had already found anyone but if their relationship is over, eventually that will happen. And eventually little K will have another man acting as potentially a step dad.

Maybe that is what he couldn't handle.

Who knows- all the motives are ridiculous because you just don't murder someone to get what you want. If for no other reason than you will most likely get caught and you won't get what you want anyway...

I wrote that, and what I meant to get across was that many flights are made without the filing of a flight plan. I don't think there needs to be a heavy argument over my use of the word "rule", especially when I'm not included in the argument. Obviously, I mis-spoke.
My ex was a pilot with his own Cessna, and I can vouch for this. Sometimes we'd take spur of the moment flights...one time it was 11 PM, 85 degrees with a full moon, and we had a wild hair to take the plane out for a cruise... very spontaneous, and no flight plan filed from what I could see...

what I do not understand about this case:

1. Assuming you are PF, how can you have intense hatred for KB but still have love and concern for little K? And since we have been talking about looks, little K, KB and CB all
look strikingly similar, so there is a great chance that as she grows older, little K would just look and maybe even sound and act more and more like KB and CB. I totally understand that there are people who hate their "baby's parent" and not the baby, but in this case I think the disconnect needed here is a big one.

2. Why does PF want little K? If he really wants to be "free," why does he want a baby? I think it is common that actual kidnappers abandon children because they require a lot of time and attention. Granted he apparently has help at home, but why does he want the baby?

3. Even though KB seemed to be self sufficient and independent, not so long ago she was 7,8,9, mos pregnant. Who drove her to drs' appts? Who drove her and the baby to follow up appts? Who helped her in the first few months after she gave birth? If it was PF, then he must have felt or acted as if he felt concerned for her and her welfare. Or was he never this solicitous? Did she go home to her parents during this time?

Do not understand the motives here really. Read posts on and on but I do not get it.
Great post, your questions mystify me as well.

It shouldn't have been released to the press for that reason.

It will take a long time to get everything organized to start the search of the landfill site. It's not simple, it takes alot of staffing.

I thought it was ridiculous that the media were there yesterday. I would be suprised if they got started before the end of next week or longer.

This is what I want to know about. No reporters have footage of CBI officially going in and out for this search yet? This had to have been a substantial tip, body or weapon, for them to justify a search at a landfill. And While most think PF wouldn’t budge under questioning, I’m of the mindset that he would budge if they put the right interrogators on him. I’m hopeful for this lead in finding KB.

Plausible. This would be the absolute minimum in regards to how I see her involvement.

This is the only scenario in which I would find immunity palatable.

BBM: Substitute the words "Remotely possible" and I agree 100% with your post!

I don't like that the press gave a warning of a pending search when I don't think we really know if all of the players in this have been discovered.

I know this has been stated by many, but I am truly hopeful that they will find KB and be able to put her to rest, but also completely heartbroken at the possiblity of finding her in a landfill.

Law enforcement can’t force the media to not report on something.

I don’t see any harm in this. Its not like someone can run to the dump and recover evidence before they find it.

If she’s there, I too hope they find her.
