Sorry I cannot remember who posted this recently, but s/he said that there is a possibility that we may not find out the details from the preliminarily hearing on February 19th. Does anyone have a good notion of how likely that might be? Could the details of this case remain sealed (to public) until trial? My apologies if this has already been discussed.

In this morning interview with Ashley, she said Kelsey worked there while pregnant. I assume 'nearby' is closer that Pueblo. So, Peyton in 2017, Grand Junction and pregnant in 2017 and then after that, she's living in Woodland Park and working at Doss. Peyton-Grand Junction-Woodland Park.

"Cogburn and Berreth met in elementary school and grew up like sisters in Washington state. They recently lived together in Colorado while Berreth, who was pregnant at the time with Frazee's child, was working nearby as a pilot."

So sad even her friend has to tip toe around the real issue. 'Borderline emotionally abusive'.
Make no mistake about abuse.
There is no such thing as borderline, but Kelsey's friend already knows this.
It breaks my heart that even Kelsey's friend has to walk on eggshells.
Especially considering the fact that CK stated Kesley has taken off before, and sung Patrick's praises. The false narrative, and victim shaming.
It makes me so angry.

IMO, this date (above, included red) has to be a date, fixed before KB's disappearing, because they both PK and KB are mentioned to have it at court.

No, that court date was NOT made until after PF was arrested. The Dec court date was made by social services when they took away the baby. It was an emergency hearing set up after Dec 21 arrest. KB's name on it confused some reporters. Many news stations reported that incorrectly and then never corrected the bad information but some reporters did get the info right. Our verified attorney members here also explained how the doc numbers for the court would look different if it was something that KB had set up before going missing. KB's name was listed on it (by social services) because she was mother of baby, not because she set the hearing up herself before going missing.

I sincerely doubt KL is in Tahiti or on a cruise ship. She has not been charged, as of yet, but I am certain it is coming. Cooperating from Tahiti? I think that's highly unlikely. She is involved and I believe not lightly and she isn't leaving the country. She is in no danger that I can think of, other than perhaps to herself. And, that in and of itself may be the answer to my original question

LE notified DHS of their plan to arrest PF on Dec 20. DHS prepared the legal action, including warrant to place the child in the legal custody of DHS, and temporary physical custody of CB. It was submitted to the same judge as the criminal action, at the same time, who signed off during the evening hours. KB was named because a deceased parent still has some legal rights. For example, If KB had a will that named a legal guardian, she is entitled to expect that to be considered in the action. The judge does not need to elaborate the detail of the proceedings, and this judge certainly did not. She didn't need time to formally study why KB was presumed dead, because she is the same judge that had read the affidavits and signed the warrants in both cases. IMO

I’m not sure that she was “tip-toeing” around the issue.

I think that Kelsey would have downplayed what was going on, and that characterization may have simply been how her friend interpreted Kelsey’s comments.

Make no mistake though, I don’t believe that there was anything “borderline” about this guy’s verbal abuse.

You are verbally abusive, or you aren’t. There’s not a lot of gray area in general, and probably zero here.

LE stated very early on that PF was not talking to them, but was being very cooperative through his attorney. Immediately following the arrest, that attorney announced that he was no longer representing PF, but the public defender's office was.
LE can't have it both ways. He can't being telling them multiple stories if he hasn't spoken to them.

True, but I have a hard time believing that if she attempted to leave the country, they wouldn't arrest her. Of course, this is just me assuming they have something they "could" arrest her for (like accessory after the fact) should they choose to. We don't know the level of her involvement yet but I'm sure LE are still working on it and I don't think they'd like for her "slip" away into the Tahiti sun

LE will advise a POI or witness not to leave. You probably could legally but it would not be advisable because if you are being considered for certain offenses and there are lesser ones to hold one on LE could. It is a good faith measure not to be pushed.
