It could be a long time before she testifies (and is sentenced). It seems like she could use some protection until then because if someone decides they don’t want her around her testimony could go bye bye. And her own mental state it is probably not good.

For the attorneys, would any statements she makes to a judge or maybe in a taped confession be allowed at PF’s trial if something happens to her?

Like everyone else, I had a hard time hearing KK's testimony. But this is bombshell news if these tweets are accurate! KK admitted in court that she knew PF had committed the homicide when she agreed to dispose of the phone. I am guessing that's a big part of the reason why LE was able to arrest PF so quickly. MOO

Better than DNA, when you give someone the victim's phone after you have murdered them and ask them to send fake texts as an alibi.

And I understood the judge to say sentence will be 12 to 18 months plus probation and delayed sentence until after trial which could be two months or two years. And she cannot speak to press during that time.

Yes, I think this is key IMO. We have speculated that more players may be involved, that he may have gotten someone else to kill her - but it looks like he told KK he did it based on what she said in court. Huge IMO. Now we know.

Not rio But it would Not be a very good plea deal for her side if it required testimony at trial. I think they will get a deposition from her, and that will fulfill the requirement.

She has to tell as much of the truth as they can prove and as she wants to tell to make herself look as guiltless as possible in this matter, unless they can prove otherwise and she knows it. Big difference.

You can split hairs over it. She has to tell the truth. They already know what that is or there wouldn’t have been a deal in the first place.

LE has evidence against KK. KK doesn't know all the evidence LE has on her, so if she is agreeing to testify, do we assume she has agreed to tell everything she knows in exchange for charges/sentencing leniency?

What if LE has additional criminal activity info on KK, that KK has not disclosed? LE wants/needs her testimony so maybe they go with what they have now, but can they charge or resentence her after her testimony against PF for what she didn't disclose (assuming she didn't fully disclose)?

I'm betting she knows exactly where the body is and her giving that information will be a major factor in not being locked up in prison for many many many years. Hope PF gets all comfy in jail because looks like the only place he is going after jail is prison for the rest of his life. Most likely the only way he will be leaving prison after sentencing will be in a casket!

KK pleads guilty - Felony tampering with physical evidence, deferred hearing until after PF’s murder trial. Prosecutors requiring KK to cooperate fully in PF’s murder trial. She is prohibited from speaking with press under plea. Prosecution wants plea papers kept from public. Judge grants motion. Review hearing schedule for June 24th at 11 am and every 90 days or so after.

I hope she is also prohibited from profiting in any way from her notoriety in this circumstance.
