Kelsey Berreth murder case hearing may reveal crucial facts

Prosecutors are expected Tuesday to reveal critical facts that have been kept secret about why they charged the fiance of Kelsey Berreth with two counts of first-degree murder and three counts of solicitation to commit murder during a court hearing to explain facts in the case.

Witnesses are expected to lay out key evidence in the case against Patrick Frazee at his preliminary hearing in Teller County District Court in Cripple Creek. A preliminary hearing requires prosecutors to demonstrate why they believe Berreth is dead and why they pegged Frazee as the suspected killer.


On GMA this morning they said the hearing would last about three hours, but some have said it is scheduled all day.

Frazee was arrested in December on murder charges. He now faces two counts of first-degree murder and three counts of solicitation to commit murder in the first degree.
Prosecutors filed two murder charges because they have different theories. One is that he acted alone to kill Berreth; the other is that he -- either alone or with other people -- killed her during a robbery.

I'm sure all this will be cleaned up with today's hearing.

Sexual lust/rape
The pursuit of power/control
I'm no expert but it certainly seems possible.

Me too LaHolla, but we'll have to know much more than what we haven't been told before know right? LOL

This case in particular on WS seems to have been going on for much, much longer than just December. It feels like at least a year to me.
