Luminol. Hopefully he didn't pull a Scott Capobianco and clean the vehicles with bleach.

This case seems pretty straightforward to me. Nothing strange about it when you compare it to hundreds of other cases where a woman went missing after seeing her spouse/boyfriend, who was the last person to actually see her. Add a pregnancy or a baby into the mix, the couple in some kind of limbo, and it's practically boilerplate Dateline.

Lol.

Many times they will gather evidence from the underside of a vehicle that can tie to various locations. Watched an episode of Forensic Files once where a seed pod that accidentally fell into the back of a pickup truck tied a murder to a location and perpetrator.

There was no reason for Chris Watts to murder his wife who was still trying to save their marriage either. He could have walked away with his mistress and gotten a divorce. He chose to murder his pregnant wife and 2 daughters instead. Kelsey wasn't going away any time soon because they had a child together. Even if they broke up he would have to keep seeing her or if he allowed her to move out of state with the child, he would end up paying for her to raise their daughter. The one who doesn't want the relationship to continue has a motive to end it for good by drastic means if they feel "trapped" somehow by the very existence of the other person. It doesn't makes sense to most of us who are non-murderous individuals but there is a pattern of this type of thing happening. MOO.

Yes, sadly there’s all too many examples of this. So senseless. This one is giving me a s peterson vibe and I pray I’m wrong.

Does anyone have a link to where the press conference will be by chance? TIA!

These dogs are amazing. I did quite a bit of research about them during the Charli Scott case.

They are. Partnered with the right handler and you have a force to be reckoned with. They love to work, like all working dogs. Their sense of smell is incredible, it's just training them to target a specific scent. The nose, knows.

My friend got to train several times with her HRD dog at the Body Farm.

I'll never, ever understand why LE cannot question a POI. I imagine there are no POIs yet? Is LE allowed to question a suspect if they have evidence to support their suspicions, such as witnesses, location of body, etc. I really do not understand why someone can refuse to be questioned, at least.

The United States constitution protects us against self-incrimination. The fifth amendment.

I mean I'm glad this isn't Iran.

Does someone have a link so I can see that?
I saw photos earlier today, and I'm looking around the 'net for them now. I'll post if I locate them.

ETA: Pommy comes through again!

Whoa.. there is no evidence that KB family funded the purchase of her home. Using a family owned mortgage company does not represent her loan was not traditional financing -- lenders are highly regulated after last mortgage crisis. MOO

<modsnip- sleuthing family>o I’m curious as to why they would lend under an LLC, and not put the house title in a trust/LLC instead...tax incentives? Not that it really matters here though

What happens to the baby if he is jailed? Do they just automatically put her parents in charge of the baby?

No. Not at all. HE gets to say where the baby goes.

I imagine. Although we've just heard "dogs" as far as I know.
MOO

Here is search and rescue heading up to Patrick Frazee’s home, the fiancé of missing mother Kelsey Berreth. Teller County Sheriff’s Office says they will be searching the 34 acre area with dogs to try and pick up Kelsey’s sent, if there is one there
Almost a month later, can they pick up a scent?

Tax records are not always indicative of ownership. He may have bought the home from his mother and did not change the name on his tax bill at the assessors office. I've owned my home for over 20 years and for privacy reasons I keep the tax bill in the name of the prior owner

He definitely doesn’t own it. Mortgage and title documents are public record and they don’t belong to him

Turns in phone...
Within a few days a search on the residence...

It's funny when a cattle rancher thinks they can out-tech LE.

They are there and hes not for a reason.

IMO

sorry, catching up here.....The size of PF's house looks huge. Something up she wasn't living there with him and the kiddo. I got spoiled with the speed the CW case was resolved; this one's driving me crazy....

Among the many possible reasons is that she already has a long commute which would be even longer if starting from his location.

For what it is worth, the route to Sandpoint Idaho does not really go through Southern Idaho.

It does if one is traveling by plane...

Admiring the strength and grace of Kelsey’s mother right now.

ETA: And her entire family.
