I think KBs mom knew the entire time. Remember how strange she was acting on that news interview. She said KB and PF had a loving relationship. She knew better. She lied for the safety of Baby K and prayed every night that PF wouldn’t take her grand daughter too while he had full custody.
ITA.

Also Just to try to help clearify, I think the reason that we don't have video of KK arriving to clean was that the neighbors video only kept it for 7 days. I think its highly possible by the time LE knew about the cleaning date that the video was already deleted by the security company of the neighbor MOO
Maybe they do have that video and are saving it for the trial. Today, they only needed to present enough evidence to ensure that PF was bound over for trial.

But they have the video from two days earlier that shows PF there with KB.

I believe because of the burn - IIRC the FBI agent was in afganistan and recognized that ? From the tweets today
I thought he recognized the ground was darker where the burn took place?
And I thought KB was placed on a bale in a trough to be burned ... but maybe she was temporarily placed on a bale and it was body fluids :( or maybe it was just heat from fire that discolored one of the hay bales close by????

Or they can't trace her there earlier.

She has an alibi. Family Thanksgiving, her dad was there as well. Then she had a beer with her Aunt Kristi in idaho before leaving.

Tried to quote @PommyMommy post from last thread about the custody motive, but thread just closed.

I was wondering about motive. Really? Over custody that could not be worked out civilly?
I just watched an update on this house-of-horrors murder on ABC News Tonight with David Muir and the headlines mention possible motive (along with all the explicitly horrific details). But motive never stated.

This case broke my heart from the very beginning, from KB going missing on Thanksgiving day, to presumption of murder, to arrest of PF and to discovery of KK. But I'll confess, my wildest nightmares could never have imagined a man, blindfolding the mother of his baby daughter, with the pretense of guessing the scent of a candle, and then beating her to death with a bat. My mind has trouble going to this realism.

It seems to me, that he was unable to look her in the eye while obliterating her. Not only is he a cold-blooded murderer, he's also a coward. All MOOO (my own overwhelmed opinion).
The motive was control over Kelsey and his daughter and child support payments he would be required to make. IMO, it had little, if anything, to do with his affection for his daughter.

I believe the darkened ground was at PF's property and the hay bale was in the barn where they left the black tote temporarily but there was such an information overload today, who knows?!

Sweater or not, a baseball bat is going to inflict tremendous damage. It wouldn’t stop that amount of blood splatter.

Perhaps he missed, and didn’t make clean contact.

It’s also possible that he didn’t have the room to swing it full speed.

Plus, I think people who kill other people are sometimes surprised at how hard it really is to kill someone. Remember Arias? I don't think her tire stabbing prepared her for taking on Travis, even tho' she mortally wounded him with the presumed first stab.

added: I'm not talking about professionals who are efficient.

He drove her to Nash Ranch and climbed a ladder and put the black bag on a hay bale. KK took police to the site to point out the hay bale. Then PF went to thanksgiving. Later he and KK went back and got the bag from Nash ranch and took it to SF's for the burn.

I am with you on that, smelling candle scents sounds like a thing a woman would suggest, if her sweater was tied over her eyes it would of covered her nose.
Maybe he thought it would also lessen the amount of blood splatter. It probably didn't stay on very long.

Kelsey Berreth case: Patrick Frazee to stand trial for murdering Colorado mom, judge rules

2/19/19

Testimony during the daylong hearing centered on what Frazee's paramour, 32-year-old Krystal Jean Lee Kenney, told investigators during their probe into Frazee's disappearance. Colorado Bureau of Investigation Agent Gregg Slater testified that Kenney told police Frazee characterized Berreth as an alcoholic who had physically abused the couple's daughter, Kaylee. Slater said there was no evidence that was the case.

Slater testified that Frazee began trying to convince Kenney to kill Berreth in September of last year. Kenney told police Frazee suggested a number of methods to kill Berreth, including poisoning her coffee and beating her with a metal pipe or baseball bat. According to Slater, Kenney said she failed to follow through with Frazee's instructions, leading him to say at one point at the end of October: "I guess if you can't do it, I'm going to have to."

Maybe PF had worked up an appetite so he lifted the foil to get a cinnamon roll while dripping blood. Sickening.
yeah I think he at a friggin cinnamon roll...he touched that foil.

“You have a mess to clean up.”

What the Frazee is that!
Maybe I’m reading into it too much, but his demand also tells me that KK was much more of a willing participant (in wanting KB dead) than she suggests.

Sure, PF probably regularly uses controlling language like this. But still, this referenced text just makes me wonder if KK encouraged PF to commit the crime just as much as he allegedly tried to get her to on previous occasions.

In other words, “You wanted this too. (And didn’t fulfill your end of the bargain in doing the hard work...) Now you have a mess to clean up...”

MOO

Edited for clarity

We interrupt today's rage, sadness and disgust to bring you this reminder: BREATHE & GAZE at this shining star for a moment, for our collective compassion for Kelsey brought us all together.
Thank you! I keep trying to remind myself not to get caught up in the rage ... but when I hear and read about all the things she was doing for PF to help him and the innocence that blocked her from seeing the evil in KK when she began stalking her for the kill.... I want to inject PF and KK personally.

Also I'll say that KK is an evil woman, But doesn't have the total disregard for humanity to actually commit a murder. She would never do any of the things that she did without the coaxing of PF. He is the devil IMO. I don't say this to try to defend KK but as to say as in many crimes, certain situations normally won't rise to a certain level without a dominate psycho manipulator! PF was pulling the strings IMO and he knew he had his perfect mark! I still detest KK

I am flabbergasted that he left her condo circa 4:25 on 11/22, and left it in THAT condition until rhe morning of 11/24, when KK cleaned it. How could he be 100% sure it wouldn't be discovered in the meantime? How could he be sure that not one neighbor noticed/heard something suspicious? I would've been worried sick... and would've been back that evening to clean.

Kelsey Berreth was killed with a baseball bat on Thanksgiving Day, officer testifies - CNN

(CNN)The fiancé of missing Colorado mother Kelsey Berreth killed her by wrapping a sweater around her head and bashing her with a baseball bat and later burned her body in a water trough, according to testimony at a preliminary hearing in Cripple Creek, west of Colorado Springs.

On Tuesday, nearly three months after Berreth went missing, prosecutors filed new charges against Patrick Frazee, including tampering with a body and counts related to a crime of violence. He was arrested in December on murder charges and is being held without bond.

Colorado Bureau of Investigations agent Gregg Slater then testified about his interview with Idaho nurse Krystal Lee Kenney, who told investigators she had an intimate relationship with the defendant in early 2018 and provided details of the Thanksgiving Day killing, including that the weapon was a baseball bat. Kenney pleaded guilty to evidence tampering on February 8.

She probably was stumbling to get away from him, sweater over her head would have disoriented her as well as the head injury. I'm sick.

He probably put the sweater over her head to try and prevent the blood from splattering when he smashed her with the bat. RIP Sweet Kelsey...:(

It’s interesting. Your point rings true on its face. It wreaks of something one would say if they were encouraged to do something.

Contrast that however, with her purported apology to him for failing on the first attempt to kill Kelsey, and his response that “there would be another chance.”

So it’s a wash for me.

Having her guess candle scents sounds like girl thing. I can't see a guy thinking this up.

Not that KK did it, but I bet this part was her idea. Like the poison coffee.

ABSOLUTELY

Now way PF is even going to have a clue. KK is truly a conspirator to murder BEFORE the fact
