KK’s father confirmed she was in Idaho for Thanksgiving.

Does Dad have more than his word to back her up, though? I forget where Krystal's cell phone pinged from when Patrick called her around 4:30 (not exact time, sorry) pm on Nov 22nd. Does anyone remember where her cell phone pinged from?

But this Megan she borrows the car from also knew about the murder plots since October. She may have lied for KKL to not be blamed for a murder on the 22nd. I’m not sure her dad or Megan’s word are solid proof. Neither is the ex.

I can't remember what evidence it is that convinced LE. Maybe it's something we don't know about. They may have tracked her phone, too. I'm not sure the friend would have mentioned the bullet being missing from her gun if she was lying to protect her.
They seem confident of the time frame. I don't doubt them. Jmo

I could see her bringing a strangers blood to stage a robbery. Mix things up a little.

Let's hope they female is M or M haha! That would be a sick twist. Although, they seemed to have identified the female DNA, as they specifically said that the male DNA didn't appear to be Patrick's.

This might be ridiculous, but who's to say with all of her friends and an aunti's help, someone didn't bring her phone down on the morning of the 25th while she took her burner phone with her and drove after Thanksgiving dinner? I don't trust her and her friends, to be honest. Some crumbs have truth to them, but some are just distractions, in my opinion.

Who are the unknown profiles...and why is it presumed PF’s DNA is not present? At least in the bathroom. Did LE find PF’s DNA elsewhere? They have video of the guy entering the townhouse, right?

Well, if LE doesn’t know, we certainly don’t. Could be anyone that LE doesn’t have a DNA profile of. I’m pretty sure they have PFs DNA profile since he’d submitted to a buccal swab.

Ms B, these people go on as they previously lived once things wind down. They do their time or probation & continue on. Society can’t say much to them w/o risking arrest.
I see murderers & people that were charged with lesser charges, like KKL, strolling around all the time. They can go where they like, do what they like.
I see Larry Mahoney (killed 27 in dui crash) at a local casino all the time. People stare but no one dares say anything. Moo

That would have been too risky. Besides, she already chickened out of beating her up twice before.

I think this is probably correct, just seems odd that LE wouldn’t have made that clear.
Such a tangled web IMO.

Not to mention, the Berreth's gave their DNA for testing. Probably to rule them out as far as it being their DNA, seeing that they were staying at her condo shortly after she went missing.

Since she has pleaded guilty, there is no need to go to trial for these charges. She may have to testify during PF's trial and the civil suit trial.

Isn’t it a definite that KK will have to testify if PF goes to trial? Or am I assuming too much?

How can one person, KK, come in and give all this damaging testimony against PF without ever stepping foot into the witness box?

It’s been a long time since college, however as memory serves me, KK will have to testify before the jury for PF to be convicted. She wasn’t given a plea deal and not sentenced until this is over to just be free as a kite with her worries over.

KK must remember the details as she told them to LE or the girl may find herself in a heap of trouble. The plea can be withdrawn if it is discovered she has lied at any time to LE.

Truthfully, I feel she will hang herself on the stand. She will be so nervous, then facing PF, his attorney grilling her, she will forget a detail she has changed that places more guilt on her than alluded to. Sorry for that long sentence.
If this should happen, then folks, we are looking at a new scenario!

I admit, when someone lies to me, I am very very skeptical of them afterwards, when it comes to something like this. I don't mean happy white lies here. But lie to me about your whereabouts or anything criminal, and you're off my trust meter, below zero, buddy! I usually have good extincts but I can be wrong. When it comes to crimes like this and the people involved, I can be cynical and I don't apologize for it. Once you show these people any sympathy, watch the lies fly out of their mouths again- it's amazing, how they feed off of understanding and compassion.

Yes, I don't see how her lawyer could pull that off.

That was me. I think PF used drugs obtained by KK to immobilize KB on Thanksgiving afternoon. Those two were in this together.

The entire baseball bat scenario is pure KK fantasy and demonstrates how diabolical she really is.

Could he have possibly drugged KB when he picked up the baby (perhaps brought her a tainted coffee)? She would have gone to sleep, as he expected, then he returns to kill her. I’d like to know if the security video shows KB opening the door for PF when he returned after the Walmart trip, or if he let himself in. All speculation and theorizing by me. And all dependent on how much of KK’s account is accurate, in that the murder happened in that timeframe.

MtBab, I thought this was interesting also, especially being in a bathroom as opposed to a more public room. We can rule out any family members as their DNA would match KB's DNA to some part. So who's is it? After KK bleached the heck out of the bathroom, it's hard to believe any usable DNA could be left. It also doesn't seem LE would leave DNA in a large enough amount to be recovered. Curious.

We know is what she told law enforcement. Everything is predicated on what..." she said".
I think it's hard to leave someone doped up for a day and a half and tied up ....or is it worse and more risky to leave a bloody apartment empty for a day and a half risking someone coming in.
I'm just not convinced yet it wasn't her that did the beating.
