Took me a few seconds. Good question. Great thought.
Iirc, there were 32 search warrants!

It is extremely hard to absorb KK's involvement, especially since she lived so far away. She was safe to contact LE at any point. She was educated, had a job - she didn't "need" PF. And, I find it extremely disturbing that she was willing to be part of killing a mother when she herself is a mother of young children. Even if she hated KB, surely she realized that killing a toddler's mother is cruel to the child. It's possible KB had her own bat, for whatever reason, and it was already in the house.
It is very strange. All I can think is that she was desperate to please him and do his bidding. Low self-image or something. How it came to that, being hundreds of miles apart for many years with not a whole lot going on between them, is a mystery. It's hard to imagine how he got that hold on her and why she permitted it to happen.
Remnants of plastics and accelerant but no Kelsey. I just don’t buy it but I admit I would have no idea what burning a body involves and how to dispose of just certain things and leave other things behind.I was under the impression that the body was in the tote and the tote was put in the trough, covered with oil and 5 gallons of gasoline and wood.
I wouldn't have thought that was enough to destroy everything, but it should have reduced it enough for PF to 'scoop' up and dispose of, which KK says PF says he did.
She was jealous, and wanted KB out of the way. She just manipulated PF into doing the dirty work. So if caught she could lay all the blame on him.I still can't wrap my head around KK getting involved in this mess.
Correct there were other things besides the body in the trough, I’m not sure I was saying there wasn’t....I have no idea what else to sayI was under the impression that the body was in the tote and the tote was put in the trough, covered with oil and 5 gallons of gasoline and wood.

I really haven't wrapped my head around it, though reading yesterday's news made it clear that KK was definitely involved.
What a waste she made of her life.

Interesting...KB may well have had a bat in the house since PF took her gun. Regarding KB's gun. It seems that PF was the one that sent the text to CB posing as KB stating that she got her gun back and now felt safe with PF. Why? Did he think KB told her mom she did not feel safe?
So technically, it places the phone there that could have been left by her on the 22nd as an argument.Yes, I would think the fact that the phones were "travelling" together, or pinged in the same location on the days following Thanksgiving would be enough to convince a jury. CB tried to call Kelsey, and could not get through because PF had her phone.
There was no evidence of any communication on her phone after the 22nd, except that which was initiated by PF.
Sounds convincing enough for me. Imo

IF this goes to trial, the defense will be ALL over this and it will
be a HUGE effort to overcome for DA. IE- planted evidence.

Hi Everyone, This is my first post on WS. I have been following since the Watts murders.
I was wondering if anyone has seen the photo of PF when he returned to KB place at 1:24 pm. The info says the neighbor said someone who looked like PF but shouldn't he also have been carrying the baby. The info never mentioned the baby.

Evidence planted by whom? Not likely the Berreth’s had a pint of Kelsey’s blood sitting around. KK may have inadvertently or purposefully left blood in KB’s house, when she cleaned, but that also implicates her being at the scene of the crime at some point. I don’t think KK planted that evidence there. Too much chance for her to take.
Notably, KK showed LE where the blood stains were left behind at Kelsey’s house. LE did not know that, as I understand, until KK showed them.
I assume everything she has said to be false. All we have right now is a small amount of information from LE about what their determination of the burn site held: Melted black plastic with an accelerant.....
The rest is from statements by KK. I think we should all be careful about assuming what she has said to LE was the truth, and the complete and honest truth
Around here if someone says they are going to the "Nash Ranch", they are going to the ranch that used to owned by someone named Nash. Ranchers own many ranches that others used to own and got gobbled up when ranches went under or there were no children left to take over the ranch.he probably also knew the ranch owner would not be home on
Thanksgiving Day to see what he was doing.

I strongly wonder this too. Why aren’t we hearing of PF & KK interaction after she left?Yup, my opinion as well. What did she get out of it? Did they even contact each other or see each other again afterward?
Maybe he basically dumped her afterward (not that they were really together in any meaningful way anyhow) and that's why she cooperated. It doesn't seem like LE had anything on her that would cause her to cave, except some phone calls.
They're both so stupid and short-sighted and selfish, it's truly mind-boggling.
