I have a question about this tweet:

Twitter

Lance Benzel‏ @lancebenzel 20s20 seconds ago
Kenney told cops she went back to Nash Ranch and helped#PatrickFrazee retrieve#KelseyBerreth’s body from barn.@csgazette

How is it that on Nov 24, after KK arrived in WP at 7:30AM, cleaned KB townhome for 3-4 hours, retrieved her own car at WP Community Center by walking, loaded the cleanup trash bags, drove to Sonic, then encountered PF at the Conoco gas station in Florrisant....

How is KK going BACK to Nash Ranch?

It may be reporter just typing his best as they all did such a great job, but it was hard to keep it straight.

If already answered, just ignore - I'm still catching up. Thanks.

I assume everything she has said to be false.
I believe she cleaned up the blood at the house. That rings true, imo.

And the part about the tote on the hay and the fire.

Everything else...idk.

I remember Mrs. R pausing when asked if she thought KKL committed murder. Finally “no, I don’t think so”, in response. Iirc

I wish the interviewer had immediately followed that up with: "do you think KKL is capable of murder?"

Chris Watts had no issue with strangling Shanann to death.

It’s quite easy, as long as you know what you’re doing. Unconsciousness comes quickly, and it’s just a matter of maintaining pressure.

Scott Peterson may have also used this method.

OK. Well, he didn't choose to do it. He may have doubted that he would be able to, or thought it was possible she'd get away. Or maybe never considered it. The bat method was foolproof.

Around here if someone says they are going to the "Nash Ranch", they are going to the ranch that used to owned by someone named Nash. Ranchers own many ranches that others used to own and got gobbled up when ranches went under or there were no children left to take over the ranch.
Probably 90% of the ranches that were around in 1930 are gone now and the current ranchers keep on to calling them by the people who lived there for easy identification. If the Frazee's sell their current place of 35 acres, in 20 years the new owners will probably say they are going over to the Frazee Ranch even though no one would be living there.

Great point! And very true in these parts. moo

Yeah, they were just given over 3000 pages of discovery.

The defense will be privy to testing results and that sort of thing, as the prosecution receives it.

We will not have access to that stuff, until after trial.

That’s evidence.
thank you - wow that's a lot of legal time sifting through 3000 pages!

Or KK is over-stating how much blood there was.
I could definitely see this being the case, although I think LE may have been able to verify it by their Luminol testing...MOO Or maybe we will find out at trial that there wasn't copious amounts of blood found throughout the condo. And either KK did a good job of cleaning up or she's lying and we will never know which one it is moo

para 41 from the affidavit - KK and PF were in communication during the trip back to ID - I'm not reading where they had further communication but I think they did IMO. Para 47 - LE says KK's "statements are unreliable at best". I think they recognized she was a liar but sifted through what details she did provide and matched them to what evidence they had - and PF was arrested. Time will tell if this was the best outcome but we know CB has the baby - so there's that. JMO

I love what you said ... “we know CB has the baby”, and that’s the most important thing for sure! Sadly nobody can bring Kelsey back, but as long as little K can remain with her maternal grandparents, I feel that’s the best we can hope for. In time, hopefully those responsible for this horrific murder will be punished.

Regarding trying to burn a body fully.

I have shared before how I once tested if I could burn bones down to ash because I had to get rid of a dead possum that some other animal attacked and left in my yard. I had been burning tree limbs and had a very large open fire going of tree limbs. The fire I had going at the time was really large about 8 foot diameter or so and flames were shooting up about 10-15 feet. So it was a really big open fire.

I put the dead possum in one of the hottest parts of the fire where white hot ash was. It took about 1-2 hours and a little stirring and I was surprised that it was reduced to nothing but ash. I actually thought there would be some of the larger skull bones left but no, the whole thing was nothing but ash and that surprised me.

With that said though, I think a human skull and other large human bones would be much more difficult to get all the way to ash and I think that is why KK has said that PF had to remove what was left and got rid of it elsewwhere. I dont think PF managed to burn everything to ash. I suspect the skull and larger bones he had to dump elsewhere. Whether that ended up at the dump or somewhere else I do think there are remains that could be found. Probably not much but some remains like the skull and maybe some larger bones were probably dumped by PF and company (kk?).
Shooting barrels, burning possums.....wow, Hatfield! :)

Beating someone to death with a baseball bat, it such a disgusting way to kill.

Fortunately, it was a huge mistake on his part. Without that blood evidence, the case against him would be a hell of a lot weaker.

Can’t get my head around how KK seemed to know where to find the tooth. I feel like PF would have been in a complete blind rage while committing this evil crime, how would he know which direction spatter went in from each blow. Oh god I feel sick just writing it. The tooth part really stood out to me and sickened me even more. Then to read she was blindfolded and made to smell scented candles before he picked up that bat just shocked me to the core. KK seems to know an awful lot of details such as where the tote was placed when she’s saying she wasn’t there. Either he actually told her all these in depth details or she had more of a hand in this than she’s admitting. I doubt it’s the whole truth ‘it is reasonable to believe that Lee’s statements are unreliable at best’ it literally says that in the affidavit yet this woman is supposed to be the star witness of this trial AND has bagged herself a nice little plea deal. Eurgh.

Don’t forget though, two of the plans that he came up with for KK to execute, involved beating Kelsey to death.

I don’t think he had a better plan.

One thing that is bothering me right now: how much of what we are hearing is from KK.

If I left out anything that is strictly KK's word (how much blood was splashed around, for example), is there enough evidence to prove the PF was the initiator and not KK?

Please correct me if I'm wrong - it's so hard to keep up with all of this, especially with some early flawed reporting. KK says PF ordered her to kill KB three times - do we have any evidence (texts, emails, 'ear' witnesses) that's the way it went down? If not, I suppose it's possible to argue that KK might have done the unthinkable - bullied and cajoled PF into murdering KB, someone he already wanted to get rid of one way or another.

I'm mindful as I type this that LE didn't have to play their entire hand for this hearing - just enough to ensure the judge would order a trial and deny bail. Hard evidence for much of this may exist and we just don't know about it.

I suppose I'm trying to help out the DA, but maybe pf told kk about a close call of a neighbor driving by and he had to put the tote down.

On T-Day - How did he know that KK was going to clean up the mess>

He asked her to come out T-day, she said she couldn’t, that she’d be out the 24th. He called her and his mom while at Kelsey’s.

KK DETAILS
I thought it had been said that if someone was able to give exact details, it was more likely they were telling the truth.

I think he wanted to do it like this - I believe there was blind rage inside him - and I don't think he could do it the night before/early morning hours because she had the baby with her IIRC - there was a lot of phone activity between the two of them (Affidavit). I believe he thought he was so smart and had laid the groundwork for her running away and by burning her body, felt he was never going to get caught. How he kept KK under his spell - I dont' know. they had a long standing acquaintance - there's something there I'm just not sure what it is. IMO

This has probably been asked already but #9 of the affidavit describes PF returning KB’s gun to her but it’s whereabouts is unknown. I find it strange there is another gun belonging to MG in this story that supposedly started off with 8 rounds but now with 7. #75 references KB’s gun again and says PF asked KK to dispose of it. Surely LE has verified MG’s gun is actually her own? IMO

If SF wants to help PF and blame KKL she would tell them the truth that KKL was in Colorado on the 22nd. Unfortunately she would be forced to answer other questions also- so she has plead the 5th. The defense may have proof she was there on the 22nd already.

I firmly believe that PF was the one who wanted Kelsey gone, and he needed no prodding, no more motivation.

At the same time, I don’t believe that KK was as ignorant as she is claiming, nor do I believe that she didn’t have some sort of hand in the planning.

KK could have left out the details regarding the solicitations, and her involvement in actually taking steps to carry out the murder herself.

She made herself look really bad.

Unfortunately for her, I think she ran her mouth so much, that it was impossible for her to not tell the authorities this.

Not if she wanted her sweet deal.
