May, is the DA. The defendant in the room to which SF could testify arrived at her home on 11/22 is PF. She would know when he arrived. So would his brother for that matter.

I wonder if SF originally LIED to LE when questioned about
certain things and now she doesn't want to testify and be charged w/ obstruction since they have convincing evidence
due to cell phone records.
But then didn't PF's law enforcement brother also lie?

I don't think the brother lied as far as we know, but from the little information we have on what he said, he was ambiguous. He may have provided more exact information than we know, though.

I believe the tweet is saying that May knows about a defendant showing up to SF's house on Thanksgiving. Since PF lives with SF, the assumption being made is that KK is the "defendant" who showed up on TG.

The assumption by who?the reporter that later clarified that he interpreted it wrongly in his a original tweet. And later made a tweet to correct it and say May was likely referring to PF?

I think she knew too. She certainly knew KB disappeared and she knew about a big fire at the time KB disappeared.

But let's say she didn't connect the dots and make the conclusion that her son killed KB and burned her body. Once LE started searching the property for evidence about KB, she surely had an inkling but she didn't do anything about it.

But, I think she knew before LE showed up.

Just jumping off your post - was it you that had mentioned after the search at PF's that their septic tank at the ranchette had been destroyed related to the search? I'm just curious as now that we've heard so much from February 19th, I'm trying to figure what importance that may have had. Thanks in advance.

Oh I didn’t know/read/hear/think about septic tank.

Years ago a boy in the neighborhood was able to get stolen cc #’s, in fact one was farah fawcett’s, he would buy stuff have it delivered to a house (vacant/owner died) down the street. He would then take the box/paperwork tear in up and put it in the septic tank. Yes he was caught.

someone build a bonfire? No crime. Knowing someone is missing for 10 days? No crime.
I think she's lied, big time. Like her dumb son, she didn't think they'd get caught.

We don't know everything yet. You don't take the 5th because you don't know anything. You take it because you do know something.

Good morning. I have been thinking... and if KK was so damn afraid, couldn't she have just taken some photos of that horrific crime scene (and everything else for that matter, when PF wasn't looking) and gone right to the police? I wonder if she did take any photos. And if she didn't, why the hell not?

Also I think SF would have talked in court and placed the blame on KK if PF was at all innocent. Since she pled the 5th I also think she's up to her ears in the disposal (if not helping plan) and the cover-up of poor KB's senseless murder. I believe this because of the way SF jumped to gain FULL custody of Baby K (away from the Berreths) after the fact. She was going to complete the main motive for that murder for him. imo.

Yes, it is a little vague.
After all, PF did "show up" on Thanksgiving eventually.
He was the only defendant in the court room and by all accounts, KK was believed not to arrive in Colorado until the 24th so I don't know who else it would be.

I was pretty sure the evidence was showing KK was in Idaho until the testimony about burner phones and all the car swapping.

The burner phones and car swapping makes it so confusing that I have decided not to take anything for granted right now until we hear from the defense and maybe hear from some of the other witnesses that should be called to the stand.

Im still disappointed the judge did not make PF's mom get on the stand to take some questions. The judge's reason was faulty IMO because the judge said the Prosecution could get any answers from other witnesses but I dont think that is true. I think there are some things that maybe only she and PF knows, and PF is probably never going to take the stand.
