iirc, there were only two images captured on the neighbor's surveillance after 11/22. There was a utility worker and a friend of PF's who picked up a package. KK was never picked up on the video even though she admitted to being there.

Courtroom updates: Preliminary hearing for Patrick Frazee, who is accused of killing Kelsey Berreth

I would assume the reason she was not caught on camera was because she said she parked her car elsewhere, and walked there.

Where the camera is located relative to the front door, it may only capture the cars in the front and not her side front door .

Also, don't most all houses have a back door?

I would think she could take the the seven + bags of evidence out the front side door and not be seen by the camera if she did not take it to where the cars were seen earlier.

In other cases, we know where the remote camera was. But for this case, I don't believe we have any idea which unit had the security camera, do we?

I often think about Josh Powell who blew up himself and his sons (after killing their mother) while the social worker banged on the door.

LE and KB would have had to worry about crazy Frazee killing himself and Baby K as he realized KK had spilled the beans.

Frustrating as it is to see the Rodeo Queen outside prison walls, I'm thankful Baby K is alive and doing what babies do with her grandmother.
me too I’ve seen too many custody battles end with the killer raising the child JMO

And KK was interviewed for the plea deal, at the Police premises, where the 'estranged brother' works.
A few coincidences.
MOO.
I’m not sure what you are inferring, but I believe it was stated that they did it there bc of the access to the airport. On top of that the interview was not done by Colorado Springs detectives. They just merely were using an interview room. Simple as that

Him going to the house ~12:45, meeting her with flowers, and quickly going to Walmart 12:54-1:17-- and then returning and getting into the house, that absolutely could be something to consider.

To have a scenario, and to have a sweater over your face and to smell candles, that would take a little bit of time to get in the mood for that. IMHO.

I believe it was the Tresa Sievers case, that *Jimmy the hammer* and his friend came over to Teresa's house ( from Missouri to Florida) covered her head with a pillowcase before bludgeoning her so that there would be less of a mess.

Am I remembering that correctly?

This whole time I was thinking she bought flowers... if he bought her flowers---man, that IRKS me to no end. What a twisted piece of...

Re custody:
Frazee said she went to Breckinridge over the summer with a friend. They took the friend’s vehicle. “We lived so separate lives for so long,” he says. Their baby exchanges were all over the place. @KOAA #KelseyBerreth #PatrickFrazee

Frazee says he had their daughter with him at the time of the call. He also says Kelsey went to an alcohol/depression rehab center, and that the drive to Pueblo & work stresses were getting to her. Wasn’t exactly sure when he’d exchange custody next. @KOAA#KelseyBerreth

Adams says the call was recorded on Dec. 2 ^^, and that Patrick Frazee gained physical custody of their daughter on Nov. 22.

I think on of two things are likely:

The motion activated camera simply didn’t activate on the movement.

It was deleted, as that system and plan, only kept a week’s worth of footage.

I do think she used the front door.

The location of that camera was mentioned somewhere.

I hope the FBI investigated KK phone and activities back a few months because I fear KB's stalking and plotting may go back further than she admits.

In August, Kelsey is in treatment for two weeks for depression and anxiety. Less than a month later KK admits she is actively plotting to murder KB. Showing up at KB's door trying to make friends over coffee and play-dates. The next month she again drives to Woodland Park this time armed with a steel rod to murder KB. Two weeks later KK is sitting outside of KB's apartment with a baseball bat.

MOO KK reminds me of the psycho ***** from a Lifetime movie that haunts her lover's wife trying to make her feel crazy.
Do we have proof / documentation that Kelsey was ever admitted into a treatment center ? If that exists I missed the memo.

It was a neighbors camera so the angle would be important - one of our sleuthers has that system and posted about it you can have it email you a picture upon motion which I think is awesome but if it’s pointed at head height you just need to crouch when opening the door IMO to avoid a picture

DENVER (AP) — Colorado police plan to search a landfill for the remains of a woman whose fiance is charged with murdering the mother of his 1-year-old child.

The search of the landfill in Fountain is scheduled to begin Tuesday. The Woodland Park Police cautioned in a written statement that it could take weeks or even months to complete their search for Kelsey Berreth’s remains and other evidence.

It was not clear on Friday what led police to search the site, which is about 40 miles from Berreth’s home.

A few things-- I have been thinking today about the male DNA at KB's townhouse that was NOT PF!! First of all, u go girl. Second of all, I bet PF was so jealous... that loser KK couldn't get enough of him, and KB was moving on from PF...
This could have been anyone that LE didn’t have a DNA profile of. It was reported as both male and female unidentifed DNA was found. Could’ve been a visiting neighbor couple for example, or other male and female visitors on separate occasions.

There’s nothing saying she didn’t appear on camera. It could be that she was, and it wasn’t brought up here because they only needed to place him there for the purpose of the prelim hearing.

I wonder if they feel duped?!

They were so so so out of line with what they did.

They duped themself as far as going out in the media without knowing the rest of the story in my opinion.

Perhaps they feel Vindicated because the friend is now a former employee, but I think not.

They should have known better. Absolutely, they were wrong and going to the media, in my opinion.

Would love to see a follow-up by local media or Good Morning America or wherever they were shown.

If anyone is interested. This is the cell phone communication and location information from the arrest warrant affidavit between KB and PF between Nov. 22-Nov. 25.

  • PF reported that he had cell phone communication with KB through Nov. 25, 2018. Investigators located messages between KB’s phone and PF’s phone between Nov. 22 - Nov. 25, 2018. Ultimately, investigators learned that much of the cell phone communication between PF and KB was a scheme developed to distraction.
  • Historical cell site analysis helps to determine the location of a cellular telephone based on cell tower antenna locations and orientation. Locations are determined by activity of the cellular telephone, and represents an approximate area, not an exact location. Different cellular carriers report this information in different formats and fashions. The
  • Nov. 22, 2018 - The analysis of the cell phone data revealed that KB and PF cellular phones connected to the same Verizon tower in WP at 12:23 p.m when KB missed a call from PF at 12:31 p.m.
  • Nov. 22, 2018 - Both KB and PF’s phones were seen by towers near Cripple Creek in the evening, traveling in the same directions and often similar distances from the cell towers hen measurements were captured by the Verizon network. This would indicate the phones were likely together.
  • Nov. 23, 2018 - both KB and PF’s phones utilized the Verizon cell tower in Florisant, along with the sector facing PF’s residence when PF’s phone called KB’s phone in the morning. Later in the day, both phones then appear to travel together from the area of PF’s residence towards the same area west of Cripple Creek and both phones had visited the prior evening before returning in the direction of PF’s residence.
  • Nov. 24, 2018 - Both KB and PF’s phones utilized the Verizon cell tower in Florisant, along with the sector facing PF’s residence when PF’s phone called KB’s phone first thing in the morning. Both phones eventually travel to same area west of Cripple Creek.
  • Nov,. 24 and or Nov. 25, 2018 - KB’s cellular phone likely traveled from CO via I 70 into Utah and I 15 through Salt Lake City into Idaho during the evening of Nov. 24 and/or the morning of Nov. 25.
  • Nov. 25, 2018 - Last activity for KB’s phone at 5:13 p.m. approximately 6.38 W/Sw from a Verizon cell tower in Gooding, Idaho. That distance placed the phone at or near Malad Gorge State Park, which is supported by additional tower measurements from Verizon in the minutes leading up to that data point.
The genius level here. He should have just put up a neon sign saying he did it.

After @CarolAMcKinley broke news of a new landfill search Tuesday morning in the #KelseyBerreth case @PoliceWoodland issue press release with an “opportunity” to send cameras to the search area.

Clayton Sandell on Twitter

Who are our local drone operators? I can’t remember.

Dad with a phone, Woodland Park Underground on YouTube. He has been notified he is a State Witness.

He talks about it earlier today on his YouTube channel.

He took videos of 3 properties with a drone during the case as it evolved. He thinks that's why he is being called as a witness. Only because of his videos. I think he will continue to do such. When he was doing one of the videos, he commented afterwards that law enforcement was watching him.

this
that's the problem with phone evidence.
your phone...your messages...your pings...…
doesn't factually mean phone and person are joined at the hip at any moment in time.

they were aware the phones were an issue.
hence the burners.
hence taking kelseys phone for a drive to Idaho.

where does the hiding and game playing start and stop???
the word of a proven liar?

there has to be compelling evidence OTHER than the phones.
think that's all been released because its obvious.

the DA has the goods. but its not what they have released in my humble opinion.
think we are gunna be blown away when it all comes out.
just how stupid the pair of them were.
There are at least TWO proven liars so far. I have been blown away twice already, you? And I agree that there's much more to come. The DA doesn't put all of the prosecution's cards on the table at the preliminary hearing. MOO

Let’s say the jury thinks that CL, MG, KK’s dad, and whoever else, is all lying.

According to Slater, texts and phone records support her account that PF contacted her following the murder, and jibe with his “you have a mess to clean up,” comment.

If her phone is in Idaho during all of this, as law enforcement believes, and the location data tracks her path from Thanksgiving dinner, to the pickup point for MG’s car (23rd) and her route to Woodland Park; that’s incredibly compelling.

These witnesses statements that some might consider dubious, would be supported by phone evidence that puts KK with her phone, and her location nowhere near the crime scene on the date in question.

I wish the defense all the luck in the world.

I wouldn't be surprised if LE has visual documentation of KK being at a family gathering in Idaho on Thanksgiving. Seems there is always at least one person in every crowd who takes photos and videos. And usually more than one person posting those photos, videos, and updates to social media.

I never know when it will hit. Most of the time, I follow a case with detachment - my interest is on the clues, investigation, human behavior, etc.

But...once in awhile....something socks me in the gut and I'm reduced to tears.

This post did it.

I'm so sorry for what happened to KB - to end up as remains in the landfill - and my heart goes out to her mother hoping those bits of remain will be found and lovingly placed to rest.

Oh man. I hate this part of sleuthing.

Carry on...
