Why on earth would the defense attack the victim's character? I see no benefit of doing that.

I do not think they will plan to do so myself; however, they may need to answer if PF told other people (other than KK) that KB had issues she did not. After all, his plan was to make it look like she left her child and went off...to commit suicide or whatever. He may very well have been laying down a trail in the months prior to friends/family that she was abusive and/or unstable...reminds me of what CW tried to do just prior to annihilating his family. Unfortunately for PF, he now has another woman to try to make look crazy so he is running out of chips to play that hand. MOO

Locating the body, if possible at all, is first for the family and second for the case so the cause of death can be determined.

I find it unlikely just merely based on the time of her last know communication on the 22nd and KK arrival on the 24th, I doubt she would have survived for two days with her likely injuries.....thats Just My Opinion

But the gun didn't get there until the 24th. Do you think he just tied her up at her condo for a couple of days and then KK shot her?

I think it’s safe to say that if her remains are located, cause of death will not be able to be determined by looking at her body.

That doesn’t mean that finding her isn’t important to the case though, or to Kelsey’s family.

I have definitely watched some trials where the defense attorney was hell-bent on convincing the jury that the dead person needed killing.

Correct...but here there would then be two women to tear down, both his girlfriends. Not a wise choice IMO but who knows...I surely bet PF’s own personal desire would be to try and take them both down. It is just not even a decent defense strategy here...I guess they could go with KB was abusive and crazy so KK took matters into her own hands without his knowledge...fortunately, a lot of evidence will get in the way of that dream scenario.

The evidence is outlined in the arrest warrant. It is not all the evidence for the case but it is clear and concise that LE verify KK's statements.

Actually not meant to argue but I just reread the entire affidavit and most verification comes after the clean up and murder. Before that there are some interesting read between the lines omissions and doubt imo.

ETA: And I mean a lot of doubt of these LE officials of what she was telling them and it continues for some time without giving her any benefit of the doubt...

Yah attacking KB would be idiotic! I'm not sure how succesfull the defense will be at attacking KK additionally, without implicating PF, to me its a slippery slope to go down that road as well bc there is already so much evidence tying them together.....MOO

Additionally if the defense tries to blame KK.

How to they explain the survielience video showing that PF was at KB condo when he said he wasn't.

How do they explain KB cell phone pinging with PFs while they were calling and texting each other.

How do they explain the dogs hitting on a Hay bail on property used by PF.

How do they explain the emergency contact papers for KF that PF signed and KB wasn't listed.

How do they explain KB blood being found on items at Casa de Frazee

How do they explain the PF phone call to Doss aviation saying that KB went to visit her grandmother.

How do they explain PF telling Doss that KB had a drug problem.

How do they explain the fact that PF had KF for a week and wasn't concerned enough to file a missing persons report or to even go to KB condo and check on her.

How do you know she was here on 11/22? This changes everything.

I don't "know" that.
I am not convinced she was in Idaho unless they state she was seen on video somewhere.
Look at how many people have already turned and looked the other way for her!!!
Her phone was in Idaho at 4:30 pm when PF texted her that she had a mess to clean up. She replied she couldn't get there until 11/24.
She was reportedly seen by family on 11/22 & she allgedly borrowed the car on 11/23.
There is a chunk of time between her being notified by PK and arriving in Co.
Why? Was she at work or???

Thats a lot of drugs, knocked her out for 2 days, as we know by cell pings and surviellence data that PF didn't return to KB condo. So its not like PF kept going back and checking on her....MOO

And kept her drugged for two days? He is a rancher and cowboy, no? I don’t think he was ever squeamish about killing...just getting caught. MOO

Edited to add: so he would have had the drugs for a while, and waited until a holiday to drug KB...knowing it would take time for KK to get there. To what end? At what risk? I do not understand how this is plausible.

That's a very interesting thought. And then he made KK kill her when she got there.
