True. But why would that be part of the story?

I get the point being made--who tells someone, I brought in the grocery bags, then I set them on the floor next to the closet, then I used the restroom and came back and I picked up one bag....

This setting down of the tote is actually an excellent point of what seems wrong with her (or his alleged discussion of the facts with her) version of events. Who gives those kinds of details? Like the setting down of the tote?

Welcome aboard and we don't know. It's KK who told the candle story and she lies a lot so it might not even be true.
Artis, I am so glad to see you're on my wavelength. Just because KK says something does not make it true in any way, shape or form. I do not believe a word she says.

I am hoping so, both from the KB house and the Franch. Some time had passed beforehand though and clearly they needed KK and the deal so I do wonder how much they have. Naturally :) Time will tell.

Yah that’s true, I just can’t stand the thought of that monster walking free. But I believe very strongly that the next time he leaves a cell for good it will be in a box....moo I have to believe that for my own sanity and the rationale that there is any justice in this world for pond scum like PF.... moo

Actually, I believe this account may have been embellished here.

I recall that cadaver dogs made hit on area behind the bumper of KB's parked sedan. However, I don't recall the AA or agent testimony declaring that KK specifically cited that PF told her he set the black tote carrying KB's body down in the parking lot. Is there a link available for this account? TIA.

ETA: correct KB to KK

Good question, I don’t believe there’s been anything made public about if kB normally wore jewelry and if any was missing. I will say in the photos I have seen of kB I haven’t noticed any jewelry moo

there is an old picture I linked to once before, in MSM, with her family and she has earrings. there was a pair of earrings in her burned purse, as per the info KK gave LE and that is in the affidavit. Did she have any dental fillings?

In thinking about this all after the initial shock of information. The trip involving the possible drugged coffee is straight out of Snow White and the cleaning of a scene and coming back as a heroine into the scence is straight out of Gone Girl. It is not exactly sane to use a bat or metal rod indoors so I have no idea what evil part of the brain this came from but all of it feels like a really bad plot. I would say these two are not exactly functioning with full executive function but living out some very twisted fantasy.

Dave, to my point that still is a whole lot of going East to spend the night in Greely to go back West to Woodland Park.

Edited for additional information: After looking at your route Dave, I just question if KKL would have traveled 1-40 considering it's a smaller highway that skirts along some of the ski resorts (Winter Park & Steamboat Springs) steep elevation and winding mountain passes. If she were coming in from that side, the West, I would think KK would have zig zaged over to Breckenridge by way of HWY 9 South to Fariplay where it hooks up to 285, that spits you right out onto HWY 24, which is the main road going East to West through Teller County (Cripple Creek, Woodland Park, Divide, etc) this would be a familiar route to her, IMO. Like I previously said, I personally would have driven South of SLC on HWY 15 all the way to I-70, through Grand Junction (this is a much flatter drive) and then the above route that I stated. Unless she had plans to stay with someone in Greeley, I see zero reason to travel that far East for the night. Maybe she missed her turn?
I have never been to CO before. I will be traveling to Breckenridge in about a week.

After following this case from the beginning, it will be surreal to be there, and I know I will be thinking of KB often. I had never considered that I may drive over roads that KK possibly traveled to cover up this heinous act. It turns my stomach.

I know the odds are low, but I hope before I arrive in CO, KB’s remains are found, giving her family some sort of closure.

I haven't been able to read every post as I usually do when I follow a case. For those who think KK is lying about everything and is the one who actually murdered KB, what do you think PF's role was? If you don't believe a bat is the murder weapon, how do you think she was killed?

You are in for a real treat if you're a skier, snowboarder or going for snow related activities as we are getting dumped on this weekend! I too hope they find some evidence at the landfill. It is heartbreaking to see the local news reporting the search at the landfill. I say extra prayers for LE and all involved in the search. With the bad weather, the essential disgust of the landfill itself and the mission, it's a very grim job. IMO

I agree it’s BS except for the parts that can be verified by LE and I think they have verified all the critical parts....moo

I don't think Kelsey would have had plans to eat at the Franch, nor do I think Ma would have wanted her there. Kelsey also didn't say anything about that (dinner with the clan) to her mom. PF mentioned, to CB (IIRC), Cracker Barrel.
This is a really good point. KB never mentioned being invited to any family function nearby. This says everything doesn't it?

I notice it claims the Mace container in KB’s purse was burned also. Wouldn’t that create a dangerous vaporization of pepper spray?
Oh lord yes! I'm surprised it didn't explode! My son threw an old "Axe" can into the fire and I about had a heart attack. Thank God we weren't close!
Maybe her spray wasn't canned the same.

Oh Idk we often travel long distances and use rest areas, I still see plenty of single women getting out of cars by themselves. Mostly during the daytime, but also most rest stops are pretty well lit up. I don’t believe it’s as unusual as you think. Jmo
She was pretty well armed.

From what I gather (on the internet), not only do a lot of people know about this case but are also outraged about the plea deal.
I was outraged by the plea deal until Gitana pointed out that LE may not have known the extent (and all the gory details) of her involvement until she got the deal and spilled her guts. I'm still not thrilled, but I'm hoping that she does serve *some* time. And like I posted a while back, her life is pretty much ruined on the outside. She is a felon and everyone knows all of the truly despicable things she did. She's a marked woman in a prison without bars. She doesn't dare show her face in public. MOO

Was KK there when the dogs hit? It sounds as if she had details prior to telling her story and made sure to include them.
The simple fact that she had so many details is disturbing! It points to how evil she is.
I guess he told her what happened and didn't leave out any of the details or he had her on speaker phone when it happened so that she could hear it all. o_O

PF is a known liar as well. So if a liar lies to another liar....

I do not have the link, I did not bring it up. I do recall it though and believe it came out during the question and answers during preliminary and the court transcript is not out yet to my knowledge, which I hope we get to see at some point soon. It may be in the tweets from reporters.

My remark was meant even generally as well, the amount of detail either he gave her or she added with regard to everything.

Someone else may have a link, I do not as I was simply responding.

She claimed to have taken a nap, been fed pizza and had the ibufrofen, for her headache, while with PF. If they got back to the ranchette at 1845 ish and she left an hour later, when could she have napped?
Maybe nap is a code word for 'ya know' ;) with her and PF, a murder/love pact set in stone.

OK, I made myself throw up a little <thanks Pommy>

I recall the earlier report of KK's Sept 2018 travel that included stop over at Greeley hotel for the night before heading on to WP. Google's "fastest route" now, avoiding road closure, recommends route across Wyoming via I-80E, and connects with I-25S at Fort Collins. This would be easy exit to Co 34/85 to overnight in Greeley. Unless pulling a trailer with high wind warning-- probably not applicable in September, Interstate across Wyoming can be both easy and fast (based on personal experience). MOO
