The system only keeps video for a certain amount of time, so if she was captured on tape, it was likely deleted.

Its also possible she didn’t trigger the camera, if it was motion activated (as most are).

I have a suspicion that the camera only works during daylight hours. It might be too dark to pick up anything at night. JMO

This time is cited in the affidavit as approximately 1:24.

I did an update to try to make it more clear that both times are approximate, but the second time is precise down to seconds. I think it will turn out that the approx 1:24 time came from a home camera system where the time has to be set by the user and hence the clock on the camera is not exact. MOO.

Absolutely. He’s at the house when he says he wasn’t, and he’s the only one caught on camera.

He then calls KK, and I’m positive her phone is going to show her being in Idaho.

My thoughts are a little different here because imo I think CW DID in fact do this to Shanann (made her wonder if she was crazy), moo. I’m also not certain that he did ever really admit the affair to her, he might have, he might not have, moo, but I do believe it must have driven Shanann crazy the way he distanced himself and did not admit an affair despite how hard she tried to reach out (basing this on the their text messages as well as her communication with her friends).

I also think CW did want to ruin her and attempted to do so by blaming the murders on her initially.

You know, you're right. I agree. It would be interesting to know why CW is talking now, maybe it's for the fame? He likes the camera? Maybe he enjoys reliving it? I'm not buying that's he's found God.
If they can figure out what enticed CW to talk, they might be able to get PF to talk too.

Based on this timeline (and by the way thank you thank you thank you for taking the time to do this!) I'm beginning to wonder if KB was killed when he returned to the home at 3:36pm. I'm trying to piece it together, but it makes more sense for him to take the baby, run a few errands while KB gets ready, and then return and tell her he's going home to have dinner with family and take littleK for quick visit and then they'll return and go out and have dinner either somewhere else or a quiet family dinner. The whole "figure out the candle smell" didn't make sense to me. I'm seeing a mom who is trying to get a casserole together, put on makeup and get ready to go out and I can't imagine my fiance saying "here put a sweater on your head and guess the candle smell". I'd swat him away and be furiously trying to get ready to go, not sitting on a couch playing some stupid game, there's no time. But if he came back after dinner with his family, they're relaxing on the couch and he gets silly with her about "smell the candle" then I can see that.
Also, it would have been hard to kill KB, clean up, run home and eat with the family. Much easier to eat with the family, leave littleK with SF and then go back and kill KB. That way if he's covered with blood, he's got time to clean up, change and take her body to the barn.

I think 3:36 might have been when he was captured leaving KB's? It always just says he was seen at her door-- no indication if he is coming or going. I think the additional video of his truck from the furniture store helps to nail down when he drove towards and away from KB's home. Her home is North of the furniture store.

Approx. 1:24 p.m.*** A person matching Frazee’s description is captured entering the front door of Berreth’s apartment on a neighbor’s surveillance camera – which investigators said contradicted what Frazee had told them about a timeline on that day. (See Arrest Affadavit)

Investigators believe PF murdered KB in her home sometime in the afternoon of Nov 22. KKL says that PF blindfolded KB with a sweater and asked KB to guess candle scents before he beat her to death with a baseball bat.

3:13 p.m. PF's bank account shows a transaction at Walmart.

3:36 p.m.: That same neighbor’s surveillance camera again captures images of a person that matches Frazee’s description at Berreth’s home. Frazee called his mother, Sheila, and Kenney at this time, according to his phone records. This is the beginning of when Frazee allegedly started carrying out his “scheme,” as the affidavit calls it, of using his and Berreth’s phones to try and “distract law enforcement, distort the actual date of [Berreth’s] appearance, and separate himself as a suspect in a murder investigation.”
Kenney told investigators that Frazee called her and told her to come to Colorado because she “had a mess to clean up.” She told investigators that she understood that meant that Berreth had been killed.

4:24 p.m. PF makes a call to a number ending in 6021 and his cell phone connects to the tower near KB's home (CBI agent testified that this is when PF called his mother SF).

4:37 p.m. PF's calls a number ending in 6679. PF cell again connects to the Woodland Park tower near KB's home but in the east facing sector. (CBI testified this was an Idaho number belonging to Krystal Kenney Lee)**
4:43 p.m. PF receives a call on his phone from the number ending in 6679 (KKL's number). PF's phone connects to a tower near Divide, CO, and a sector facing west along route 24. The call last 141 seconds.**
4:50 p.m. PF calls KKL's 6679 number back and talks for 251 seconds.**
**KB's phone was also tracked and from approx 3:30-4:50 KB's phone moves along the same route as PF's phone. Both phones appear to move along Route 24 in the direction from KB's home toward PF's home. Due to the time delay of when phone warrants were issued only "failed attempt" calls were recorded. These are probably calls that failed to connect or dropped due to poor reception.

KKL says that PF called her on the afternoon of Nov 22 and told her she "had a mess to clean up." KKL knew that meant KB had been murdered. She says she told him she could not come until Nov 24th.

9:54, 10:03, 10:15 & 10:48 PM: Both Frazee’s and Berreth’s cell phones were connected with cell towers near Cripple Creek, traveling in the same direction and similar distances from the towers. “This would indicate the phones were likely traveling together,” Frazee’s affidavit says. The area where the phones connected is in the direction of Robert Slagle's Guffey, CO residence.

KKL says that PF put KB's body in a black plastic tote and took it to the Nash Ranch near Guffey, CO on Nov 22 (See Arrest Affidavit).

11:11 p.m. PF's phone is recorded 3 miles south of a Florissant cell tower 2 miles south of his residence. There is nothing to indicate PF and KB's phones ever separated during this 2.5 hour window.

The affidavit says KB and PF's two cell phones stayed together for the entirety of Nov. 22-24.

Why is there no mention of the fact, which I recalled, that they were seen on The Neighbors camera with flowers at the door? I don't see any mention in the above of the flowers with a neighbor's camera and was wondering if that fact has been discounted? As I thought it was pretty important.

The defense can always say that the surveillance camera was off in time. That's why I was asking just above if somebody had the link or why the information is not on the timeline of when the flowers were shown on a surveillance camera outside of the front door.

I don't think so, because then at 4:24 and 4:37 he makes calls from KB's home to SF and KK. I think he left, went home and had dinner, and then came back at 3:36 and killed KB.

Approx. 1:24 p.m.*** A person matching Frazee’s description is captured entering the front door of Berreth’s apartment on a neighbor’s surveillance camera – which investigators said contradicted what Frazee had told them about a timeline on that day. (See Arrest Affadavit)
Approx 1:25 & 43 seconds p.m. (13:25:43)*** PF's red Toyota is seen on William's Log Furniture video turning onto North Fairview from HWY 24 and traveling Northbound. The truck appears to have some kind of crate in the bed.

Investigators believe PF murdered KB with a baseball bat in her condo sometime in the afternoon

3:13 p.m. PF's bank account shows a transaction at Walmart.

3:36 p.m.: That same neighbor’s surveillance camera again captures images of a person that matches Frazee’s description at Berreth’s home. Frazee called his mother, Sheila, and Kenney at this time, according to his phone records. This is the beginning of when Frazee allegedly started carrying out his “scheme,” as the affidavit calls it, of using his and Berreth’s phones to try and “distract law enforcement, distort the actual date of [Berreth’s] appearance, and separate himself as a suspect in a murder investigation.”
Kenney told investigators that Frazee called her and told her to come to Colorado because she “had a mess to clean up.” She told investigators that she understood that meant that Berreth had been killed.

4:24 p.m. PF makes a call to a number ending in 6021 and his cell phone connects to the tower near KB's home (CBI agent testified that this is when PF called his mother SF).

4:37 p.m. PF's calls a number ending in 6679. PF cell again connects to the Woodland Park tower near KB's home but in the east facing sector. (CBI testified this was an Idaho number belonging to Krystal Kenney Lee)**
4:43 p.m. PF receives a call on his phone from the number ending in 6679 (KKL's number). PF's phone connects to a tower near Divide, CO, and a sector facing west along route 24. The call last 141 seconds.**
4:50 p.m. PF calls KKL's 6679 number back and talks for 251 seconds.**
**KB's phone was also tracked and from approx 3:30-4:50 KB's phone moves along the same route as PF's phone. Both phones appear to move along Route 24 in the direction from KB's home toward PF's home. Due to the time delay of when phone warrants were issued only "failed attempt" calls were recorded. These are probably calls that failed to connect or dropped due to poor reception.

9:54, 10:03, 10:15 & 10:48 PM: Both Frazee’s and Berreth’s cell phones were connected with cell towers near Cripple Creek, traveling in the same direction and similar distances from the towers. “This would indicate the phones were likely traveling together,” Frazee’s affidavit says. The area where the phones connected is in the direction of Robert Slagle's Guffey, CO residence.

KK says that PF took KB's body in a black plastic tote to the Nash Ranch near Guffey, CO on Nov 22 (See Arrest Affidavit).

11:11 p.m. PF's phone is recorded 3 miles south of a Florissant cell tower 2 miles south of his residence. There is nothing to indicate PF and KB's phones ever separated during this 2.5 hour window.

The affidavit says the two cell phones stayed together for the entirety of Nov. 22-24

So between 4:50 and 9:54, we assume PF turned both phones off? Neither showed any activity between 4:50-9:54. If he turned them both off why did he turn them BOTH on? Did he not know they would both ping together? I mean clearly he didn’t realize it when he was texting later with the phones side by side. Why only turn them off for those 5 hours and then turn them on at the same time?

I’m perplexed because during 11/22-11/25 it appears at times PF thinks about the phones and how they may ping and then at times it’s like “duh”.

The lack of hearing if they have KK on camera at KB's house is confusing to me because I thought she was the last one to go there after PF killed her.

She would have had to make at least 1 trip in the house and 1 trip out of the house to take out the trash bags or whatever she took out of the house.

Its strange right now and not sure why.
Most camera systems have night vision to trigger at night as well as daytime.

Maybe she went in and out a back window or something that did not trigger the camera. Maybe PF left a window open for her or a back door open if there is one.

I don't think so, because then at 4:24 and 4:37 he makes calls from KB's home to SF and KK. I think he left, went home and had dinner, and then came back at 3:36 and killed KB.

Hard to say what is lies but PF made the remark allegedly to KK that she did not know how hard it was to eat Thanksgiving dinner after doing what he did.... I still do not like that in one statement he allegedly called around 3:30 something to ma and KK and then in another he did so at 4:24 as you say, etc. I sure hope these are facts and not mistakes.

I see where you are going though and it makes sense as well... Which would make his dinner remark to KK a lie. In that case, what else did he lie to her about and yet much of the case comes from what he told her--allegedly?

He leaves with Kelsey’s phone (and likely her body).

He then calls KK, and I’m positive her phone is going to show her being in Idaho.

1. It was the neighbor's camera, not KB's. It is not set to capture activities at KB's condo.
2. KKL is 5'3". She may not have triggered the motion sensor due to her stature.
3. KKL said that she parked her car at the Community Center and walked over - she may have approached the condo from the rear and stepped over that low wall in the back to get to her door (see the pics of KB's condo.)
4. If there were pics, they would have been from when she drove over and took the trash to her borrowed vehicle, as you mention. Perhaps she was aware of the camera, or perhaps she parked in a different way that PF normally did. MOO

Odd, isn't it? Unless we are to assume that there is more info but the prosecution just did not provide it from 4:50 to 9:54 (with regard to his). That does not make much sense either if he turned KB's off and then on. Just as dumb as what KK did. I sometimes feel something is being missed here and people are just taking the explanation and believing it.

Makes no more sense than just about anything else in this case...

So far, there is no CCTV of KK and her trip to Colorado. There is some info of her trip home but not CCTV so far there either. I hope to he** they have ironclad info on where she was before during and after the crime. jmo. Yeah, seeing some of the people like CC one does have to worry about the jury pool... Again jmo.

I think 3:36 might have been when he was captured leaving KB's? It always just says he was seen at her door-- no indication if he is coming or going. I think the additional video of his truck from the furniture store helps to nail down when he drove towards and away from KB's home. Her home is North of the furniture store.
