Can you link that CC was a employer of KK in the past? I do not remember her being connected to CC.TIA
I can't find the article yet. I'll keep looking. I know CC had met Kelsey before...I did find that article. But not the one that names him. I don't think I dreamed that...but it is getting late.

It's "hooseGOW." Apologies for the prior misspelling!
I had to Google. :D Merriam Webster says "hoosegow". The word comes from the Spanish "juzgado" which means "panel of judges, courtroom".

Not sleuthing CC but it doesn't follow that he would have ever employed KK, a nurse.

Also, if KK was still pining over PF as reported, I don't believe she did not know about KB and/or their child until only recently! I believe KK had moles in place keeping tabs on PF for her for years. MOO

It was back when they were right out of high school. I believe they maybe worked at a livestock auction or something. It would have been years before she was a nurse.

Wow, the thread has slowed down. Really hoping for news soon re: search.

Sounds like it would be something unpleasant that you might step in while wearing your new snakeskin cowboy boots.

PF has certainly stepped in plenty of that over the years.

None bigger than what he stepped in here.

ID Discovery needs to air a show on “The World’s Dumbest Murderers.”

He’d be number 1.

MG, I am still wondering what his motive was. We have both believed from the beginning it was custody. But I still can’t get over a baseball bat death. How horrifying. Even though he planned this for months, and even though it has been revealed how stupid he is, why use a baseball bat? That speaks to a lot of anger. Why not push someone off a cliff? Or use a gun? Why a baseball bat?

I believe he has a court appearance on the 5th of April to make his plea. That’s less than two weeks. Not long until the thread blows up again.

Yep!
I can't wait for PF to enter his "Not guilty" plea.
I hope the whole courtroom busts out laughing when he says it.

Including his public defender. Only in his case, it will be maniacal laughter.

JMO.

Because he knows he's dead in the water.

Yeah. If only...

It’s far too serious for anyone to laugh but that would be a great moment for anyone recording it. Will it be televised?

For whatever reason, bludgeoning had been on his mind for a couple months (going back to two of the solicitation attempts).

After that final search of Kelsey’s house, and PF’s subsequent arrest, my theory was that he beat her to death with a blunt object.

My guess at the time was a crowbar or hammer.

When KK came along and said baseball bat, it struck me as being true.

His anger seems to manifest itself via beatings, and it makes sense that he would chose to kill in this way.

A gun is too noisy, and strangulation just isn’t him.

He picked one of the most horiffic ways there is, to kill Kelsey.

Fortunately, he left a mountain of evidence in his wake.

That’s also his style.

But it still speaks of anger, resentment, a way to make sure she suffered. It shows a person who is a psychopath. If he wanted to just be rid of her
there were other ways to do it, no evidence to be found, etc. Instead he even asked KK to use a bat or poison or pipe. I am sure KB still cared about him and yet he was so insensitive to her. I keep saying it but I bet he killed before, maybe just helpless animals but he did. I just cannot imagine using a bat and beating someone to death.

He’s certainly comfortable with inflicting violence; too comfortable.

I don’t think he’s ever killed before, as this type of crime isn’t indicative of something a serial killer would do.

It was purposeful, albeit evil.

Animals though? You betcha.

I still wonder what excuse he will conjure up. And if anyone in the courtroom will keep a straight face. Will his brother or mother convince him to plead guilty?

So you just believe he has lived these thirty something years waiting for a chance to beat someone to death with a baseball bat? Maybe so but I can see him killing someone in his past who got in the way of anything he wanted.

I think his only angle is to point at KK.

The defense would have to shift the timeline, somehow explain away all PF’s lies, discount any forensic evidence, cast doubt on all the cell phone evidence, and somehow separate PF from the crime, while putting KK at the crime scene.

If they can do that, and luck out with a jury that is completely unable to grasp evidence, they still probably won’t have a chance in hell.
