My question on that is, what would a cattle farmer/farrier know about sending false pings or programming texts etc. Wouldn't he have to research that, and wouldn't there be evidence of that research somewhere? Just some thoughts.
Apparently there is an App that teenagers use to throw off the location, but it sounds like it would be really easy to LE to know that. I don't know if there are more sophisticated ways or not. I would think it would be easy for them to figure out if that was done. I'm not a farmer, but I would be willing to bet there are a lot of farmers or ranchers who are much more technically savy than I am.

I just read through all the family postings here and I don't remember reading it.
I *think* this may have been said early in the threads by the aunt before she was verified. In between this time and now, it was deleted I believe.

KINDA OT - I am brand spanking new on here but been following for a few days. Does anyone know any details about PF lawyer/law firm. Are they even equipped to handle a case that is the National spotlight? I am asking because I find it's curious as to why this lawyer wouldn't escort his client into the PO and give a thorough interview? I am not a lawyer but I am fascinated by defense attorneys - I am in no way saying PF will be a defendant.... just asking.

I think she posted it on here this morning. I asked her how she came to know that and if she heard it from Kelseys mother and if PF had said that. I haven't seen an answer yet.

Is the the white building that looks like a church the house? Does PF live in that building, do we know?

jmo
The PF house is green with a green metal roof. The house in these photos appears to be a neighbor's. Moo

The aunt said on Twitter...or FB

“Our niece is missing ... She broke up with her ex on Thanksgiving, he said she dropped off the baby and was heading to Soap Lake Washington to visit”

I think he said so as well.

Ok...not that he broke up with her.

I believe it was later deleted since the aunt was not verified at the time. She said that PF said that she was going to visit her grandmother at Soap Lake, WA. I did a mapquest, and Gooding, Idaho is right on the way to Soap Lake. Is this an alibi or red herring?

Agreed.

I'd read about the possible breakup.... but it didn't come from a verified msm source so who knows ?

Actually I thought I'd heard it from a relative of KB's.

If a breakup happened, it'd make sense in the larger puzzle of where KB is or what may have happened.
The fact that they didn't live together may mean the relationship had become strained.

If something terrible occurred, I think it was sudden and if so-- hopefully the perp made many errors .
I want to see someone face justice if our worst fears are realized.

She verified it this morning. I remember because I asked her about it. She also explained the reason why she posted on a site with truckers. She has members of her family who are truckers and its the best way to get info out fast. She said everyone is on the alert.

Can you verify that he said either to LE? I’ve been searching for two hours trying to verify that.

Sorry you have been searching for two hours to verify this information that you must have heard elsewhere. I just posted about 18 minutes ago, so you were not looking from my statements.

No, I cannot verify it. Have read it so many times, I took it to be true. Even think I have read it in newspaper articles.
My mistake if it is not a statement from PF.

I am having a difficult time convincing myself that anything significant will come from the property search. Given everything that has transpired over the last couple of weeks, based on all the, without a doubt, information that all of us here have managed to gather, the cell phone info, the timeline, etc., I can't seem to get my head around it all coming back to the man's property in town. If it does come to a close on his property, I would have to believe it was thought out, almost planned. I will spare everyone my thoughts on all that would have to happen for this sad situation to end on that property while staying matched up with the information that has been released. Unless of course, we haven't been given factual information since this began. JMO.

Actually it takes longer because they are careful to look for evidence as they dig and there's a lot of time spent on recording each and every finding, marking it for evidence, etc. To go down even 3 feet can take hours depending on what it found as they dig down.

No slower than digging around a gas line.

A 10 day old trench in Colorado, in December ... is quite distinctive ... and very easy to redig.

The surface dirt/clay, will no longer be surface consistency.

The sides will slump

The material will fall apart

For the most part, they use the bucket to just lift soil out of the hole.

A 10 ft trench, 6 feet deep and 3 foot wide ... is only 180 cubic feet

But, they likely only going down a couple-three feet before they discover what they are looking for.

It should be easy to rake, shovel and lift ...

The moment they discovered a scarf or shoe ... the medical examiner would be on the way

And we would then know

Kelsey Berreth: Police Search Fiancé’s Ranch In Hunt For Missing Colorado Mom
Kelsey and Frazee do not live together and don’t have a wedding date, Berreth told NBC. “The relationship has been good. They’re loving,” she said. “It hasn’t been ideal, you know, given the economy and things. They had plans that haven’t worked out as they would have liked. But they’ve dealt with that and they’ve made things work regardless.”

Berreth said the couple was planning to find a home of their own, but Frazee’s job as a cattle farmer had been impacted by poor prices.

“She broke up with her ex on Thanksgiving, he said she dropped off the baby and was heading to Soap Lake Washington to visit,” the aunt continued. “No one knew anything about the visit.”

When Cheryl Berreth learned her daughter hadn’t been heard from, “it was mission time,” Kindle said. “Everything happened in the blink of an eye.” Cheryl and her son, Clinton, immediately flew to Colorado to search for Kelsey.

Let's hope he did a google search on how to do it... they will cease his computers. Also, most 29 year olds are very tech saavy, they grew up with this stuff.
we grew up on it plus, there have been numerous cases that have talked about the suspect and/or victim's cellphone pinging in a certain area. If they have heard of even a few missing persons and/or murder cases i'm guessing the vast majority of people --including those not particularly tech savvy-- could still grasp the concept of investigators tracing a phone's location.

Oh, right, I should have clarified that Kelseys Aunt said that this morning. She broke up with him. I asked if he himself had told someone that or if it came from Kelsey herself. I am guessing he told the mother and then said she texted him saying she was going away for a week. In the same phone call.

Yes, I think anyone involved knows about pings and tracing cell phones....and what better way to pull attention away from a piece of property than to have a cell phone ping far, far away.

She called him her ex... which is much different than fiancé.

JMO, PK made two big mistakes to begin with that put LE onto him.

1. He told they had broken up on Thanksgiving Day. Why was that a necessary comment? Breaking up on a holiday is a cruel and thoughtless way to end a relationship. IMO, especially if he knows she is dead due to something he did to her. This statement would raise eyebrows with the LE guys I am sure.

2. He told she was going on a trip but no one knew about it besides him. What a goofy statement! Again, eyebrows would be raised that he was giving an explanation for her absence right at the start.

We WS have seen so many cases where a significant other tell the above two scenarios that soon as I heard them, PF was the guilty party in my mind.

His lawyering up immediately just added to my suspicions.

Please take the baby away from him now. Don’t give him the chance to hurt this precious child!
Who is PK?

Yes, I'm curious to know whether or not he was telling the truth about the breakup, as it appears the trip was not really planned. Imo
