It's interesting that PF seems to have claimed KB was going to visit Soap Lake, WA. When I put Woodland Park to Soap Lake into Google maps, there are a couple routes suggested-- mainly a more Northern route that cuts through Montana and a more Southern route that crosses into Utah and Oregon. The Northrn route is the one given to me as
the recommended route from Woodland Park. I also believe the North route would make more sense for Kelsey to take since she would also drive right by the Sandpoint area where her parents live. The Northern route, however, would NOT go anywhere near Goodling, ID. Someone driving from Woodland Park would have to choose the South route to end up having the phone ping there:

By contrast, when I plug Florissant CO to Soap Lake WA into Google maps, then
the recommended route is the South route which would drive near Gooding, ID (and nowhere near Kelsey's parents' home):

This suggests to me that if someone decided to drive Kelsey's phone partway to Soap Lake Washington as a coverup, they might have started their journey in Florissant (where PF lives). Assuming, of course, someone was dumb enough to use their phone's Google mapping navigation or a vehicle GPS with a similar algorithm as Google for suggesting routes, this person will be found out as soon as their phone or car or computer is examined.
(It should be noted I looked up these Google map routes up with a laptop. I don't live in CO so I have no idea if someone plugging these routes into a phone app from the actual cities would get the same order of recommended routes. If anyone local wants to do an experiment with their phones or GPS, it would be interesting to compare the suggested routes).
MOO.
