Even with another woman, there is no motive.
Just look at it from a conventional standpoint.
Two people get together and there is pregnancy. Happens. Mom is religious. There is a kid. They move close, both are in kid's life, both carry on with lives/careers, there is a formal/informal parenting plan, no marriage officially on the way, they live separately. There is no divorce in case of another woman. Both participate in child rearing. No domestic violence.
No reason to kill, in my opinion. Anything can be resolved. The guy is spending more money on a criminal lawyer now than he would have spent on any family lawyer.

Eight people were murdered over custody of a child, so it does happen. And sometimes there is no motive in a domestic violence murder.

So far there are three scenarios concerning the Gooding ping (as I can see). (1) sending Kelsey's phone in the mail set to send texts to the employer and PF. (2) PF making the trip himself. (3) asking someone (or paying them) to take the phone on the trip and send the texts. This was over Thanksgiving, lots of college students going back to college in Idaho and Washington. I wonder if PF knew any college students who were going back to a college in the NW US? Examining his phone, text messages around Thanksgiving would show this.

I watched the press conference. When the D.A. mentioned "custody exchange", it seemed certain to me that their loving relationship may have been something far less than what had previously been suggested. What now boggles my mind is the Cinnamon Rolls. I'm twice her size and love food (smile) and yet I've never made myself cinnamon rolls. Not for a family of one. To me it sounds like she had plans to take them somewhere, or to someone. Who? It didn't seem she had plans with the fiancee.

The Soap Lake trip discussion is morphing into cinnamon bun territory, imo. But without the humor or yum factor. The quoted article is from Dec 7th, over a week ago. In it, her cousin stated about KB ghosting her family: ".... she wouldn't put them through that." Also, "There's no reason to think she intentionally is gone." Another 8 days and executed search warrant later, I'm betting that a willing and sudden trip to Grammy's is even farther off the radar.

Kelsey's brother said she made the cinnamon rolls for breakfast. She has a 15-month-old daughter, so she's at least a family of two. ♥ I would imagine she planned to eat the rest of them at a later time. Perhaps as snacks?

Does anyone wonder if KB was going to PF's for thanksgiving dinner? And was shopping for stuff to cook over there or needed something before she was picked up by PF to go there? Am I the only one missing his parents' presence in all this?

Were the cinn rolls a fresh pan, ready to be taken somewhere? Indicating maybe KB ran out to buy baby supplies, and was coming back to be picked up by PF for Thksgiving dinner at his place?

Now that I'm not completely believing PF's stories (like I ever did, sorry, been at this a long time), my mind is running rampant.

I was wondering that too, about the cinnamon buns. Would she plan to give them to him to take to his family, when he came to drop off the baby? Or maybe take them there herself, if she was going to dinner with them?

I wonder if KB was forced by someone to tell her mom she had plans for Thanksgiving in order to not raise suspicions there was trouble in paradise, and custody issue.
That would help explain the discrepencies. it would also help explain the term Handing off the baby to PF. Because who does that unless they are forced to.

Exactly, the Wagner family literally committed a massacre (likely) in order to gain full custody of a child.

There are plenty of examples of people killing for this specific reason.

We simply don’t know enough here to figure out if this was in fact the motive, assuming that a crime occurred.

An argument that escalated is another potential scenario here.

What is the one reason men kill a pregnant women or one with their child. Money. While engaged there is no formal child support payments. I do believe Kelsey was probably making the higher salary, not PF. Perhaps Kelsey wanted to put a more formal (legal) child sharing and support payment together. Who was dragging their feet on getting married6?

I think the most likely scenario is that he, himself, was in Gooding. Or whoever is responsible for this. I think he would know that getting anyone else involved (especially a stranger) is a huge liability for him as it would be too easy for them to come forward. And now that this case has a large amount of national media attention surrounding it I think if someone innocent was involved with her phone being in Gooding and the text messages that they would have came forward by now.

Incoming flight logs of overnight flights (potentially freight carriers) into the area of Soap Lake are certainly worth checking for 25 November 2018.
What flights were overhead Idaho at 5:13pm on 25 November?
