They executed a search warrant. <modsnip rumor>. They have his truck. This is not looking good. 30 acres is a very large area. I'm sick over this.

I wonder what she is living on? Surely LE will be checking to see if her CC or bank account has been accessed?

I’ve also considered (though unlikely) that she went somewhere off the grid so has no idea that people are searching for her. I doubt it, especially with the amount of time that has gone by, but the tiny bit of hope in me hopes that this is a possibility

I don’t think there’s any rules for what a fragile person in a vulnerable state does or doesn’t do.

If you’re hightailing it out of town spontaneously bc you need a break, you just might turn off your phone and give yourself some space. Then when you start to realize you can’t stay gone too much longer without an explanation, you just might send one.

I tend to think she came into foul play, and more likely with PF than anyone else we know of, but I still don’t want to make assumptions. We could all rule out the ping as a false ping or a set up and find out we ruled out the one piece most connected to her whereabouts.
Again though, I’m looking at the complete picture here.

I’ve seen all sorts of bizarre behavior from people in the throes of a mental health crisis.

This doesn’t come close to aligning with what I’ve seen.

Coupled with the bizarre behavior from the fiancé, I too am confident that this wasn’t a case of someone leaving on their own.

Law enforcement clearly believes that something nefarious happened here, and I’m confident that they have evidence that supports it.

But I’d be leaning that way regardless.

They aren't showing her leaving the store for a reason. I don't know what it is, maybe someone is walking with her? How long was she in the store?how did she get to store?
It may be that it was not a very clear picture. The footage that was showed may have been the best image to show what she looked like so people could recognize her. Maybe the footage of her leaving doesn't even show her face. I'm sure they have more and it may or may not have given them some answers to the questions you asked. Imo

If so, how'd she get there since her vehicles are still at her house.

If so, wouldn't family have checked this cabin to make sure she wasn't there before sounding the alarm?

It doesn't seem likely, IMO.
I agree, unlikely. However, it doesn’t necessarily mean a family cabin, could be a friend’s cabin. Did she have other property in these areas? I imagine a scenario where the two talk about patching things up and decided to go on a short trip (which explains Gooding). They leave for the trip then only PF returns? Who had the baby on the 25th? Was there a sitter?

I really am terrified for that baby girl.

Ok, why should LE forget the search warrant?

At this point it is a waste of time. Maybe the truck bed liner will talk and tell them something.

He surely did not bring a body back to his home to hide it. Then drive 800 miles to leave a text message.

It does not make sense

I would have totally had them all for breakfast. And any leftovers for the following morning. They are delicious
So true and I make them all the time for just me and my little one. She considers them a "special treat." When she was one we only ate half of them. Now that she is bigger they are gone in 30 minutes.

I don't think she'd go anywhere without taking the baby. She worked long hours, while PF had the child. Why would she give him the baby while she had vacation time?

That's why I think he's lying. Why would she give him the baby on her day off from work?

Not yet anyways. I think we’re all hoping that they can find some grounds to give that child to Kesley’s Mother.

For her own safety, and to stick it to the guy who is apparently keeping her from seeing her grandchild.

How do we know if he is deliberately keeping that baby from the grandmother?

How do we know the lawyer didn’t advise him to hunker down and not talk to KB’s family?

The child belong’s to its father, PF, until evidence leading to his arrest or until there’s evidence of the baby’s welfare at stake.

I am suspicious of PF too but there needs to be evidence before jumping to conclusions. I’m trying to work with facts and keep emotions out of it.

I agree that they are extremely unlikely to find a body there. That being said, it does not mean that the property is not the scene of a crime, possibly a violent one.

They have to search it.

There doesn't have to be a body found, they're also looking for any evidence that may show PF did something to KB. Computers, trace evidence from his truck, clothes that may have blood on them...they would be looking for anything like that. They certainly don't open all the dresser drawers because they think there might be a body in there.

We don’t know for sure, that’s why I said “apparently.”

Again, for context, I lean toward foul play from someone close to home.

But I also feel we shouldn’t make assumptions based on the cars being left in the driveway. Some commenters are acting like it’s next to impossible for her to have gone on a trip if her car is still there. But I am only a few years older than Kelsey and I have gone on holiday trips on Amtrak, Greyhounds, rideshares etc. and routinely use taxis, Ubers, Lyfts etc too.

I am totally okay with us having a most likely scenario, but I don’t think we should close the door on any possibility until we get the facts to do so. Like if we find out a specific person picked her up, then we know she left with them and not with a taxi.

If we close doors too quickly, we could close the one that leads to an answer.:)

What now boggles my mind is the Cinnamon Rolls. I'm twice her size and love food (smile) and yet I've never made myself cinnamon rolls. Not for a family of one. To me it sounds like she had plans to take them somewhere, or to someone. Who? It didn't seem she had plans with the fiancee.

This is a very good point. On holidays, most people who will be going to someone else's home for Thanksgiving or Christmas bring along something for the home they are visiting. It is usually a side dish or dessert. It DOES seem like she was going to go somewhere with homemade cinnamon rolls!

I might even get sassy and daring some days and put double the icing on them.

My cake is done baking. I dedicate these next few “winter pounds” of mine to Websleuths. All of the buns talk influenced me.
