I don't think people usually do that. I lived on a horse farm and the glue man would come take them after they were put down, to use all their parts. They are very valuable in many ways.
I know of farms who do bury their own animals, but I honestly don’t know what is most standard.

Anyone else think the quote: "possible clue in a baked good" has to do with DNA? Perhaps she offered him a serving when he came over to pick up the baby?
I think DNA may be a bit tricky because surely her finger prints, hair ect would be in his truck just like his DNA would probably be found in her house. Because of this I think they are looking for bodily fluids(blood, stool, urine) more than just hair, fingerprints ect.

People use their own land, imo, as they have complete access...and can be there anytime without anyone thinking it unusual. Still...I feel doubtful this is the case here.

But, that said...there was a hideous case, in the 80’s I think...wish I could recall her name, Karen maybe, in the mid-west, maybe Indiana. She was going out of state for a modeling job, so her ex had their baby. Only she didn’t make it out of state...ex and his parents killed her, disposed of her body in some horrible way on their farm. LE later found a button unique to her clothes on their land, which lead them to either body parts or further evidence. All three were charged. All about custody. The case was on one of those older true crime shows, maybe American Justice or Forensic Files.

Are they using cadaver dogs in the search?
Didnt LE bring on the dogs and digger on day 1? They have a 3 day warrant so it makes sense they’d have everything ready to go just Incase. 3 days isn’t a long time.

Did anyone else hear in the very beginning of the PC yesterday the officer mentioned that her family was not present as they were with a victim advocate group? Does that suggest anything

But if he ate a cinnamon roll, there might be DNA on the utensils or the leftovers themselves. .

I've buried my horses on my farm. The glue man ain't getting my babies! Plus other posters in earlier threads have posted about burying livestock on their property instead of a rendering company getting the body/remains.

Jeepers, you’d think that they would utilize spellcheck.

That headline is misleading, as the police chief is just saying what he’s supposed to say in that regard. He hasn’t provided any evidence that she is alive, and he almost certainly believes that she isn’t.

This is standard though.

I’m glad to hear that he’s sitting down with police, I think it’s the least he can do. It would have been nice if he was this forthcoming from the beginning.

Someone get Tammy on the line!
Woa. Is he really going to talk with them,or is this a dangling carrot?

Yep. And although they didn’t bury them, there was that other recent family involved slaying over custody: Ohio family murder suspect filed for custody of daughter days after slayings, report says | Fox News

It suggests that they are struggling, as one would expect.

I read nothing else into that.

There would be privacy on such a property to perform such "work" during evening hours, unseen & undisturbed.

Then, off on a trip out of state w/ KB's cell in tow

I’m not even sure this is true, as I can’t find any other reporting on this.

It would be a big deal. I don’t see it happening.

This is a very good point. On holidays, most people who will be going to someone else's home for Thanksgiving or Christmas bring along something for the home they are visiting. It is usually a side dish or dessert. It DOES seem like she was going to go somewhere with homemade cinnamon rolls!
Is this the recipe she called her mother for? Anyone check out if PF mother was traveling?

Yeah the guy who ran our farm was an East German WW2 vet, my trainer, who didn't have much, shall we say, empathy, for when animals died.

Danger !
FYI ; This was false info from a click-bait blog.
The truth is that they would just be looking for any clues.. which would be standard protocol in this case ; since KB is still just 'missing'.
That was from KKTV news...not clickbait.

I find it hard to believe that this home property would have a body, purse, or phone on it, with all the time she was missing, before being reported.....MOO

It suggests that she is no longer being viewed as disappearing on her own accord.

Now, her disappearance is being viewed as "suspicious" as per the PC
