I think that's what the family was lead to believe in the beginning. Her mother said at the presser they were engaged. No doubt in her mind. The official police poster thingy on their facebook page says PF picked up the baby later that afternoon.
As to whether the baby was picked up at Kelsey's or Kelsey took the baby to be exchanged at PF's: We are relying on PF's word. Now, many people do not believe much of what he said. I think, (and the police probably think) that PF probably picked up both Kelsey and the baby Thanksgiving afternoon and ………………..

I would imagine that's the case, but since we haven't seen any video of her leaving Safeway, I don't feel confident of anything I know at this point. (I think she did get home, but I wondered if/why there is a reason they didn't give the handoff location, if that in fact is what really occurred.)
Why would PF claim to have picked up or had baby dropped off if it never happened? If you are suggesting she never came back out of the Safeway what reason would he have to lie about getting his daughter? How did both of her vehicle end up at her house? Just because the video of her leaving isn't online does not mean it didn't happen.

Has the aunt stated on this board that he picked the baby up from her house? No one knows if he picked the baby up or she dropped her off.
It is PF stating this. No one knows.
Yes, the aunt has stated on this board that he picked the baby up at Kelsey's. I'm not sure how far back the post is...at least the last thread or one before. People were speculating about different media reports and she stated it clearly.

Not to mention, they only thing missing is her purse and phone. She probably had her phone in her purse.

Personally? I don't think she made it back home from Safeway. JMO.
But her car did. If she went in her car. Unfortunately, we don't have video outside the store - coming or going. We also don't know what she bought at the store and if it made it back to the house. (sigh)

Her aunt confirmed here on Websleuths that he picked up the baby at Kelsey’s home. According to PF of course.
No, no one can confirm that. That is what he told LE. No one saw it apparently.

Aside from Kelsey's aunts comments, the only information police has said regarding the child exchange is that PF told police that November 22 is the last day he saw Kelsey when he picks up their daughter. It also does not specify that he picked up their daughter from her house. That's probably the case, but just noting that it does not say at her house.
No it doesn't because some stories say Kelsey dropped the baby off to him.

Sure ..
People grow apart.

Happens all the time

But, when one party goes from being a "loving" partner on Tuesday, to an "ex" on Thursday, to the prime murder suspect on Sunday ... it is rarely, if ever, about growing apart.

Say "Scott Peterson" softly 8 times.

It is always about a love interest that interrupts the equilibrium.

I can not recall a domestic situation like this that did not involve the 3rd party, in some way.

Once, we locate this person or persons, then the motive and timeline will be one crisper.

It is like gravity ... all these domestics have the 3rd party interest somewhere.
I don’t get the feeling that another love interest is the motive here.

I think this was all about custody of the child.

Yes. This.

I don't believe she drove her car home. Something, in my opinion, occurred between or right after leaving Safeway and handing off her little girl.

But if she drove to Safeway, and both her vehicles were in her driveway, the car at least made it home from grocery shopping. The baby was in a car seat in the video.

I thought maybe PF could have driven her to the store, but now that I think of it, she had the baby with her, so why would she bring the baby in with her if he was waiting in the parking lot to take them back? She probably did drive herself. Unless he dropped her off, ran errands of his own, and picked her back up.

People tend to bury bodies in areas that are both convenient, and familiar.

It’s weird but true.

How many people have buried loved ones right in their own backyard!?
I remember a cold case where they found the body in the basement - fairly recently.

I do. I think it would have been the easiest way to go about this.

Either take her from her own house, or accost her when she reached his.

In that latter scenario, he’d have to return her car, so I think it’s far less likely.

Could very possibly be true but where is your proof??? Do you have any info about another 'love interest'? Please post a link.

Yup, it had been there for decades.

If you plan on selling the story that someone ran off, you’re not worried about anyone finding her on your property.

He just didn’t sell the story well enough.

And another - Michael Shaver- missing for over 2 years, body found in his own backyard where he lived, and his wife still lives with her new husband. A patio was poured over where he was buried. She got married on that patio to the new husband. No arrests made yet. His Facebook and social media had been updating, so his wife claimed that he had just run off because he needed a break from life. Seems to be the go-to excuse.

Or could it possibly be about money? Seems like I read somewhere that she was excited to get married but they had faced some financial issues?

The baby was carried into the store in her car seat..so I think she must have driven to Safeway.

Yes, you have control over your own property. Someone could accidentally find a body somewhere else.

Yes, your right, it doesn't say where, and LE would not say. But I think I had it backwards anyway. I think she dropped off the child to him. I'll have to check what I wrote and go back and delete. I know I've read it two different ways but that could have also been other posts I read.
