That's the main problem with this case...there has been such a lack of information that it's impossible to actually know anything. There's no evidence a crime has been committed, but there's no evidence KB ran off voluntarily. Statistically, when a woman goes missing it's usually due to a boyfriend or husband, which is why PF is in the position he's in right now, but all we know for sure is that he didn't report her missing. A big red flag, yes, but it doesn't necessarily mean he did anything to her. IMO, he was probably involved, but without facts to back it up, this case can't go anywhere.
He not only didn't report her missing after she failed to return after the supposed one week, but he's the only one with that "one week" story, the last person to have seen her and he shut down any communication at the start with LE. Combine that with Kelsey leaving everything behind, including her child and even a spare pair of underwear, and having just gone grocery shopping hours before this supposed one week get away, which is a story concocted by the last person to see her alive, and it all looks very bad. Especially combined with a lack of any concern on his part for the mother of his child, his fiance and the woman in his life. And remember, he handed over his phone after he had a week to go through it and delete anything incriminating.

Not sure how "national" this story has become, but unless she somehow "secured" a vehicle, completely changed her appearance & had a significant amount of cash stashed for this undercover trip, I don't think she is on the road. She would have been spotted by now.
Her story has been on NBC,ABC,CBS,CNN,and Fox News....plus being broadcast on our local PA news and is constantly being updated. I firmly believe that she isn't on the run and hiding.

Well I agree that if she were traveling NOW that would be the case. But if she was traveling those first 3 days? Literally not even her family were looking yet.

I think she likely came into foul play.

But she wasn’t reported missing until Dec. 2, so up until then, she could’ve been riding shotgun in a car cross country in the same outfit she’s pictured in, and no one would’ve blinked, right?
Yes, I agree with his. However I just can't get over the question of why if she was actually going to visit relatives would she not have taken one of her own vehicles, not to mention a suitcase. This case just makes my head swim. That Idaho ping sure put a kink in a lot.

Wow. That's insanely cheap. (I'm used to CA property values.)

You'd flip out at some of our property prices. You can easily buy land for less than $1,000 an acre. If you don't want land, there are plenty of houses in town, 2-3 bedrooms, for less than $80,000.

Of course, there aren't any jobs so it's a trade off.

Looking at property prices at different places around the country is insanely interesting.

With objectivity

We do not have a murder weapon
We do not have fingerprints
We do not have a crime scene
We do not have a body

We do not even have any evidence a crime or coverup has occurred

BUT, we know WHO did it!

Nice ....

It's an opinion based on experience. I COULD be wrong, but with the evidence we do have, it appears that PF is the most likely suspect in her disappearance even if not yet called that by LE. I'm not LE and WS is not a court of law. According to PF, he was the last person to see her and the last person she texted. She talked to her Mom twice on Thanksgiving Day. She was going out for dinner that day. She left with only her purse and phone. The baby was with her until after she left Safeway that day. PF took possession of the child on TG. As for what we don't have, that's where investigation comes in. I don't think PF's fingerprints or DNA will carry a lot of importance, but IF her body is found in time and there was a different perpetrator, maybe his DNA will be found, but at this time, no one else is involved AFAIK. It's the same in every case, what we know and what we can prove is two different things.

Does anyone know, those apps that create False pings/locations ....They only provide the false location information to other cell phone users who you share location info with, correct? ( like your spouse or your parents if you’re a teen)

As far as I know they do NOT actually cause your phone to ping a tower you are not by. I worked at a corporate office for a major cell phone carrier and was trained in how cell towers work. I cannot see any way that you could create a verifiable by LE ping on a phone if was actual tower the ping came from was 100 miles away. (My apologies if this has been discussed by any cell tower expert, this thread is moving fast)

Point being we can safely assume , IMO, that her phone was in Idaho 11/25. If PF was the one who took it there how has LE not found any evidence of his trip? Cameras are at almost every gas station etc ...

I’m curious about that. Because what if you have no cell phone service but are connecting through WiFi only? I would assume no ping would register, since it’s not connecting to a tower? And how does LTE network work? For example, last night I turned off my WiFi on my phone, so I was only using LTE for data/internet. My IP search showed me in a different state, 1.5 hours away. Does the LTE server sit that much further away from the cell towers? I wonder if my phone would ping at my actual location, or 1.5 hours away like the IP showed.

And no car!
I have friends that would let me use their car. Trains, planes and uber comes to mind along with bus service.

I also have older grandparents that would never tell on me if I asked for their silence. Grandma's are like that!

We have no idea what happened to Kelsey. Mom and BF did nothing for days. So maybe this was her MO

E applies for the time being. But IMHO, if LE ever finds a crime scene, it will be C or D.
I mostly agree with this, but I'm not ruling out a strangulation in her townhouse. Large guy overpowers small petite woman with not much of a struggle.

Well with all the theories that have been floated...and there have been some amazing ones...I'd say she's on the road! With her purse and phone!
IMHO, it is highly unlikely that KB went on the road without packing a bag (brother says her suitcases and makeup as well as her cars were left behind). And if I'd just made a batch of yummy cinnamon rolls, I would have taken them on my road trip, too. If she's with someone else, then that someone else would also be unaccounted for since Nov. 22.

From thread 6 earlier today at 11:07:

"I've been thinking about all of this and I'm not so sure he did anything to her. Why would he? They seemed to be co parenting with both able to see baby girl whenever they wanted. She had a good job and probably made good money. I wonder if there was a life insurance policy?
Health insurance is so expensive so maybe when and if they did marry hers would cover him..a family plan.
I think he had a lot to lose. He was living a good life with his spread, his mother and baby girl.
Now the attorney takes it all. sigh.

The thread closed before I could reply. If he truly did not harm her, his behavior is concerning, IMO. If he truly did not harm her, the choices he has made have caused LE to take out a search warrant on the property he lives on. He chose to hire a criminal defense attorney.

Where can I buy acres for $1000 per acre? I’d love to own a lot of land somewhere. And I agree, other than web sleuthing, I really enjoy looking at real estate all over the country. It’s definitely interesting. It seems I’ve done a lot of that research in Colorado this year with all of these crazy crimes :(

I don’t believe that anyone, not even family, would have knowledge of Kelsey’s possible whereabouts and have withheld this from LE. Not even sure if that would not be considered obstruction as LE has made it clear they believe a crime has been committed, jmo.

I don’t think anyone seems to really be assisting in the search. All I have seen is a missing poster and then a Facebook page posting the updates that the media know of. Small interviews with the media. We haven’t heard of any search parties on foot as far as I know.
Why is that, do you suppose?

I remember being 29 and living in another state with my fiancé. I might have called my mother once a month. Why? I was trying to detach, find myself and be independent - my mom was a very strong minded woman - and even though I loved her very much, I didn’t want her well-meaning opinions or directions on how to live my life.
I think KB’s Mom believes what she was told and that KB didn’t want her to know the truth about separation because Mom would worry and call even more. Not to mention, Mom and Dad financed her home that was bought May 2018.

Dogs should be able to pick up a scent if it happened there, at least

Well, I am going on a trip in 2 weeks. I will be taking a suitcase, lots of clothes, toiletries, makeup, and vitamins, and my car will be valet parked at a hotel close to the airport. There will not be any freshly made food left out in my house. That's how I roll. I suspect most people planning to be away for a while prepare similarly. IMHO.

I’d have to rewatch the presser. Did LE say “pleading” or did the media?
Colorado police plead for Kelsey Berreth’s fiancé to speak with them as hunt for missing mom intensifies | Fox News
"Colorado police on Friday afternoon pleaded with the fiancé of missing mother Kelsey Berreth to come forward ....."

FBI investigators search the home of the fiance of missing Colorado mom Kelsey Berreth | Daily Mail Online
"Police PLEAD with fiance of missing Colorado mom to sit down and answer their questions 23 days after she vanished ... "

Haven't been able to find out where LE said those exact words... so maybe just media exaggeration ? (Like that would ever happen...*cough*)
Sorry my fonts are not behaving correctly.

PommyMommy, I am curious what you mean by that. I could see your comment being taken one of two ways...

The most logical would be that they truly have no idea where to even start yet. Maybe they believe she could be anywhere from her home to Idaho, so far too much land to search.
