What kind of truck is that and is GPS standard on that make and model?

Toyota Tacoma. couldn't tell you the year.

LE has said they believe KB’s disappearance to be suspicious and I think we should lean in the direction of someone close to her or a stranger being responsible rather than continuing to believe she is willingly hiding out.

I WISH she was simply hiding out by choice as it would mean she’s alive but continuing to stand against what LE reported in the latest press conference by talking about her running away or being “emotional” just comes across as character assasination.

It almost reminds me of the commentators on YouTube blaming Shanann Watts’s personality for her murder.

LE has far more information than us and I trust what they say.

The Woodland Police Department has issued a press release two and half hours ago. Has this been posted here?

As the last known person to see Kelsey—perhaps even at his own house—PF has and knows critical information that could help LE know what happened to her. Instead, PF is giving everyone the F you middle finger and saying talk to my attorney and get a warrant if you want to TRY and look, dig and figure out what happened. Think about that.

Exactly. And, the more time that passes by means that IF and when PF eventually does sit down to talk to LE, I envision a lot of questions being answered with... “I can’t remember what I did that day or that particular time....that was a long time ago.” UGH.

Does anyone know, those apps that create False pings/locations ....They only provide the false location information to other cell phone users who you share location info with, correct? ( like your spouse or your parents if you’re a teen)

As far as I know they do NOT actually cause your phone to ping a tower you are not by. I worked at a corporate office for a major cell phone carrier and was trained in how cell towers work. I cannot see any way that you could create a verifiable by LE ping on a phone if was actual tower the ping came from was 100 miles away. (My apologies if this has been discussed by any cell tower expert, this thread is moving fast)

Point being we can safely assume , IMO, that her phone was in Idaho 11/25. If PF was the one who took it there how has LE not found any evidence of his trip? Cameras are at almost every gas station etc ...

I would think he might keep some extra gas in the back his truck since, as a farrier, he might be driving back roads a lot. That truck is rated as getting up to 22 mpg on the highway, and has a tank capacity of 21.1 gallons. The trip was supposed to be anywhere from 600 to 800 miles. If we assume the maximum distance of 800 miles and 20 mpg x 20 gallons, that would be a distance of 400 miles, so he would need to fill up once about halfway there, then again when he gets there and a third time about halfway back. So if he was to make the trip without stopping at a gas station, he'd need to carry about 60 gallons of gas. That's a lot. Not impossible, but I guess if he did plan it, he could have made the trip previously and stashed some gas along the way. Sounds crazy, but there was a serial killer who stashed and used kill kits near places he planned to be in the future. Not likely, but possible.

I don't think he would have used the truck to go to Idaho. I think he would have used a car and put the body in the trunk.

JMO.

PHOTOS: The Disappearance of Kelsey Berreth

New information released on case of missing mother whose phone was last pinged in Idaho | East Idaho News

Yes! If I was her family and or her aunt, I would want this photograph with him in it to be plastered and shared in the media. Folks may have not seen her, but they may have seen him.

My 2003 Toyota Tacoma did not have a GPS .Maybe it became standard on a newer model.

Yes. There is a reason why LE released that photo.

As it appears, PF is involved in this up to his neck. What's to prevent his attorney from providing alibis for the three days after Thanksgiving. Example: He was at a family Thanksgiving dinner until 9pm. Friday he was cutting wood with friends, then at Joe's Bar until midnight. Saturday working horses with a group. Sunday spent in CO Springs with his LE family. Baby is either with him or in care of his family.

Can one of our attorneys here advise us why the attorney isn't doing something to ease the public scrutiny of his client? I know one does not need to prove their innocence, but Kelsey is missing and if he's innocent, he holding up resources.

JMO He should never sit down and talk to LE, even with his attorney. It's not required and cannot be compelled. Innocent or Guilty "eveything you say can and will be used against you".

My link said 2009.
If you go here, you can look at what comes standard (vs what is optional) for Toyota Tacoma’s manufactured in the year you select.

2019 Toyota Tacoma Optional Equipment

Other sites seemed to further suggest that GPS is not standard, but some vehicles *may* have event recording devices (essentially black boxes) whose data can be accessed by dealers or insurance carriers etc.

The defense attorney was hired by PF and her/his job is to advise the client but not necessarily to voluntarily cooperate with LE.

Most defense attorneys aren’t as concerned with public scrutiny as they are with whether their client is arrested.

Perhaps PF does not have a good alibi and his defense attorney has figured it’s best for PF to say nothing at all despite facing public scrutiny.

LE would like to question PF on his whereabouts and his defense attorney will not agree with having PF do this.

It may not always be moral but the job of the defense attorney is to defend the suspect. CW confessed to murder and someone still had the lousy job of serving as his defense.

I have friends that would let me use their car. Trains, planes and uber comes to mind along with bus service.

I also have older grandparents that would never tell on me if I asked for their silence. Grandma's are like that!

We have no idea what happened to Kelsey. Mom and BF did nothing for days. So maybe this was her MO

No friend has come forward to say KB used their car AFAIK. I could see her getting a plane, maybe wanting to surprise her family and get there that night, but I'm pretty sure LE would have looked at that possibility. They weren't even announcing her disappearance as suspicious until long after CB said she was missing. If LE no says her disappearance is suspicious, I believe them. Mom and bro said this is NOT like her.
