I understand why those things seem clear to you, but they are less clear to me. While I think it’s most likely foul play at the hands of someone she knows, when people have purposefully disappeared, they often purposefully try not to leave a trail. And I am not sure why you don’t think LE was concerned about her lack of contact.
Agreed. But her cars are still there and any other form of transportation would have meant she would have been seen. Could she have have hitchhiked and been harmed by the first person who picked her up? Yes

I think that the hitch hiking thing is a bit of a stretch. Why would someone (a young attractive woman at that) hitch, if they owned two cars?

Like KB, I have access to two cars and a small plane. I can't even imagine a scenario where I would see hitchhiking as a viable alternative. It could happen - especially with this case where anything is possible - but I see it has highly unlikely. MOO.

Agreed. But Everythimg is a stretch at this point.

But people do things all the time without being noticed. On a holiday weekend when families are all traveling and hosting, would someone really notice an extra car pulling up and picking someone up? They might. But...I hear cars around my house all the time and I don’t check the window every time to see where they go or where they stop or who they talk to.

Do people still hitch hike? I haven't passed a hitch hiker for years and years. I am sure people would remember if they saw her on the side of the road.

Would they be able to legally do that? Last I heard he wasn't named even an official "person of interest." So I don't know if having served someone a search warrant for their property is enough to be able to take their passport. But I'm not a lawyer so I don't know the logistics and procedures of taking someone's government issued ID.
Good point. I am not sure if they can...but I would hate to see him flee if he has an opportunity.

Everything is highly unlikely at this point. :(. When I was suicidal I didn’t make sense either. I do think it’s more likely she was told to get into a car.

I have no reason to believe he has told two different versions. Do you? (Not challenging you, just trying to find out which it is and where the two versions come from.)
It may have just been inaccurate reporting. I don't recall which news source said which. But it was reported by LE that he dropped the baby off. So I think that's probably right. The VI said he dropped the baby off at her home but LE did not verify the location. Imo

I picked up on an ownership vibe.
It’s more likely the positioning of the family in the photo and how you feel about him parenting the daughter right now.

@SharonNeedles encouraged me with her posts to look at this case differently rather than on the path of typical.

JMO I think PF and KB worked out a schedule where he was the M-F child caregiver, and she was the weekend parent. She is gone 12 hours every work day. He is a pillar at his ranch, and she is a pillar at her job, and the relationship may have worn out but still be friendly.

What if PF did pick up the baby 11/22 and that's the last he saw of her other than the 11/25 text? What if she told him while she loves her baby, she's just tired and wanted the 4-day holiday for a Me Time break? She could have willingly left to go anywhere with anyone, and I don't believe she tells her family everything. CB calls on 12/2 and PF isn't concerned because they aren't really together any more and he has the baby. If they aren't really together any more, he may not know where she would go either, not his problem and KB may have been not sharing personal info with him any more. In this scenario, PF has new problems, too, because the other parent is missing - so he is now the 24/7 parent with no backup. Also, PF is not related to KB, so it makes more sense that CB files the missing person report.

I'm just trying to see the situation from an innocent PF point of view, try it out. I couldn't care less about any ex of mine, what they do, where they go.
That’s impressive, I like it! Unfortunately in that scenario we’re still left wondering where she went and what might have happened to her...

Haha. Yes. I see them sometimes. But while anything is possible, I see this as one of the more far fetched options too.:) Now if someone comes up with some footage of her thumbing it by the road, I will change my tune.

I think we have to go with our verified insider on this one. DM may have gotten wrong information and they just keep recycling that part of the story every time they add a new update.

I certainly appreciate our VI, but in reality she's only repeating what PF said. Unless someone was there to witness the exchange, we're still in the dark as to what happened. Even with of both of her cars in her driveway, she could have taken baby to the ranch and then returned home.

They can't do that. He would have due process rights. Goevernment can't go out depriving people of liberty just because they think he might have done something wrong. The system we have is designed specifically to prevent such things like that from happening. Everyone in this country should be thankful that we have it this way.
IF they have flagged him as a POI can they? I am from Canada so I don't know the State laws.

Again as a parent who shares custody...For our arrangement we have several designated ways that we exchange our child. (All are in court paperwork even) And I did exchange with my ex several times during the Thanksgiving weekend and if you would ask me on December 2 which way we exchanged our child on a given day I would’ve been hard-pressed to tell you 100% accurately....And I might change my mind after going back through texts and my memory and even go to the police and say ‘I was wrong we exchanged at my work, not the retail store parking lot’ ( we also use a DMV parking lot , my mom’s house , and his house. ) We pick any of these locations based on what we are up to that day and where we need to go next and most importantly where our child actually is.

We only know (LE included) what he has told people. There seems to be two stories out there, but he apparently told LE that he picked up the baby from her.
I think that he has told two different versions and that is why suspicion has fallen on him.

ha ha about the shirt. I just see so much repressed anger.

I think it is just a bad photo of him. Maybe a bad angle combined with a sleepless time in a new parent’s life? He’s a reasonably handsome and engaging looking fellow in the rest of the photos shared of him. Looks like a typical rancher cowboy type to me. He’s probably considered a catch.

DH, on the other hand, gets a Deliverance / Dueling Banjos vibe.... So there’s that...

moo!

So KB decides to walk away from her life.

For whatever reason, she decides to hitchhike, even though she has two vehicles.

The first person who picks her up, harms her.

Not a chance.

It will always be a telephone game unless LE is able to release her timeline before disappearance in a press conference, if they even have a timeline considering PF is not likely to speak voluntarily.

I have seen many MSM articles mixing up the two and I’m very confused. It’s easy for all of us to start putting our own opinions in when no one knows many facts.

I really wish PF and the defense attorney will at least put out a written statement of their choosing that clears his whereabouts on the last time he saw her up. Unfortunately, it doesn’t appear that will happen as I don’t think PF has an alibi other than dropping/picking up the daughter and being at home prior to the disappearance, which is not a good alibi.

I have said it before, I think, but in the Toni A. case, the media ran footage from an area business or two that captures it.

The Jessica H. case released video footage from surrounding streets too.

For Mollie, they never told the public they had footage until they made their arrest.

I am hoping and wondering what they have on film right now.

If someone picked her up, the driver would have seen her. So, if she didn't leave on her own (by foot, I guess), someone saw her.
