Another thought. With her parents setting up a LLC in order to lend her money for her house purchase, I wonder if that was strategic, or why that was done. It has a 5% interest rate, 30 year loan. I haven’t bought a house since 2013, but isn’t 5% a bit high? Especially for a personal loan for your child? Maybe I am wrong there, I haven’t monitored interest rates very closely this year.

good point...curious indeed. could LE being withholding video of her in the parking lot if that's actually where PF picked up their daughter but if he's saying they met up later they are pretending they don't have the footage in order to catch him in a lie? does Safeway simply not have cameras in the parking lot? hmm...

We don’t know the relationship between maternal grandmother and the baby though. What if there wasn’t one?

KB called her mother for a recipe and needed to call her back while she tended to the baby. If KB had a positive relationship with her mother then so did her baby.

To be fair, that pig farmer wasn’t completely innocent. He had restraining orders against him. Not related to mollie, but that guy was far from innocent.

RSBM for focus. I don't think that is necessarily true. I believe KB depended on PF greatly to help with child care, but KB imo is a financially independent woman.

I am the mum of a pilot about KB's age who also is a flight instructor. People often think that all pilots make great money. They don't...especially young flight instructors at small airports. Just a point of clarification that we really don't know how financially independent she is or was. Unless I missed something that revealed details about her finances.

The important thing here is she was in Safeway a little after 12 pm. They probably have video of her leaving a few minutes later, but it is probably from her back side and might not show her face. The police want to put out the least information as possible and let them do the investigating. Most of the time this works to their advantage, but sometimes it hurts the investigation. I don't know how they discovered Kelsey was in Safeway (view hours and hours of footage from hundreds of stores?)

It could clear up why he won’t let her see her. Guilt/bad relationship/no relationship? Not critical but a lot of people are citing it as a reason for possible guilt.

Now that I say that, I guess LE doesn’t want to lessen the thought of him being responsible for this ....

Hopefully, they will search social media and for fake Facebook pages. It’s quite possible she had tinder or a dating app. You get verified by Facebook. So most people create fake facebooks. Might even have a second phone. She really could have been picked up by someone for a date. This is possible. Or again, a potential client or previous student.

I believe I’ve read within the threads that KB and PF lived approximately 15 min apart, yet separate towns. If I understand correctly PF lives in a rural area? In many rural areas residents have no other option other than a PO Box to receive mail from USPS. I think it’s been posted that KB had a postal address with a PO Box in the town that PF resides in? That leads me to wonder if at one point KB may have been living at PF’s residence?? If so, when and why did the change occur?

Absolutely correct on the postal boxes for rural residents -- most of my family with same box for more than 50 years! Given that PF allegedly lives with his mother SF, I think that would be valid reason why KB does not live with PF. MOO

Maybe. You can do FB and Pinterest on a computer - don't need a cell phone. I know a few people who communication online yet don't text (some people don't have cell phones, have flip phones, don't like typing on cell phone, etc.).

When KB needed a recipe, it sounds like she called her mom and talked to her - didn't send a text.

Of course, I'm just guessing. But it does explain why mom didn't get text on Nov 25 when the employer and fiance did.

After my kids were able to sit up, there is no way I would have taken the car seat in as well.
Car seat is required by law for a child to be transported in.
We have no video of her leaving the store.
With or without the baby.
I find that very odd!
For those of you who are co-parenting an infant/toddler, how does that work with the car seat.
Do each of you have your own and just hand the child to it's other parent, or do you both have a base in your vehicle and each of you have a "base" to snap it into?
There is also the 3rd option, one parent has the seat and base and the other parent uses the seat with a seat belt only.

Two things that are bugging me.
A.- why no video of her leaving the store and/or getting into her car with the child.
B.- why is still being called the finacé if there is ANY proof that there was no date set, dress bought or any other plans being made.

A piece of the puzzle is missing here. Why?
What are we not being told/shown and why???

I'm also curious, where is the car seat we saw at the store? Could it have evidence on it?

I thought the same thing the first time I saw the Safeway footage. There is no way I would lug a 15 mo. old baby around in one of those. My youngest grandson would be just a little older than K & he's a heavy lil chunky butt!!

I didn't consider the camera angle. probably that. maybe her debit/cc transactions placed her there.

I think the reason for the LLC is so IF KB and PF did marry, it would become a rental property. An LLC protects a landlord from being personally sued by a tenant. I'm not going to speculated on the loan terms because that has nothing to do with KB missing, imo.

Can someone explain why if PF is guilty (accident or otherwise ) and went to effort to buy himself an extra week + by driving to Idaho (or planting phone and programming it to wake up and text in Idaho (so he would have planned coverup) why he would not continue the coverup by at least issuing statements through is lawyer like ‘PF is praying for KB and knows K needs her mother to return safe’ ?

Also none of you know co parents / divorced parents who can’t stand one another... or thinks the other is shady ? Yes she is the mother of his child but to suddenly be concerned for someone you are known to dislike is hypocritical. And everyone in their town may know they did not get along. PF could be risking people coming out and saying his pleas for her are fake he told me last week she was (insert nasty stuff about ex here)

LE can arrest him, but no one in LE or any government employee can force him to talk or answer questions, ever. I know this seems somehow ridiculous, but this is an important and fundamental right in the U.S.

I agree with you and don’t think you understand what I meant.

Right now and for who knows how long, PF is the only parent financially caring for KB. Hurting PF’s business is only going to hurt their child.

I believe KB was a typical working mother of today who was financially independent and enjoyed her career.

I’m trying to hard to keep all possibilities open and am not ruling out things like post-partum depression, random perp, etc. It’s easy to rush to conclusions when not a lot of information on KB has been released by LE.

Honestly, many people in my peer group can do naive things when dating and many use Tinder. Some people treat Tinder as a dating app for long term relationships and some men (and women) only want to hook up. I am married and in my 20s now. Women don’t always tell other people where we are going for a date, anything about who we are meeting, and many of us have gotten into a car with men we didn’t know. It’s not safe but there is a lot of shame for women when they date around. I always would TRY to tell a friend or family member via text as much information as possible on a date.

I was raised as a Catholic, am a Christian, but “hook up” culture and sex outside of marriage is socially accepted now and commonplace. However, women still face shame and because of this, tend to hide things that could end up dangerous.

Just wanted to comment - I never dated online, and I am probably not in your age group, but I know two people who found good husbands on Tinder. So if I hear that someone uses Tinder, it doesn't say anything bad about the person, not at all! An app like any other.

The parents own a Mortgage Company. There's no personal loan but a typical 30 year, federal regulated lending transaction. Topic covered extensively in earlier threads.

I don't think it shows his guilt, but I do think it gives some idea of the kind of person he is.
