Did he ever have a relationship with KB's mother? Had they ever met? I might not be to anxious to leave my baby with a total stranger even if they're a relative. The baby might even be afraid to be with someone she doesn't know.
But.....I do think I would meet with her mother, baby in my arms, and have a common goal.
We don't know if they had ever met, but I think it is reasonable to assume that they had and I don't think that the grandmother expected him to leave him with her. And yes, he could have taken the baby to see her, even if it was only on the way home from seeing his lawyer.

From DM article

“The last trace of Kelsey's phone was that same day, 800 miles from her home near Gooding, Idaho.”

Last trace? Does that mean there were other pings between Safeway visit and 11/25?

Not really. The chance of her being granted visitation is slim to none. Unless she had the on-going care of the child for a significant period, her ability to be granted visitation doesn't really exist.

Under C.R.S. 19-1-117, a grandparent can petition a Colorado family law court for reasonable grandchild visitation rights in the following situations:

  1. The grandchild's parents have obtained a dissolution, annulment, or legal separation,
  2. The child has been placed into the legal custody of someone other than a parent, or
  3. The child's parent, who is the child of the grandparent seeking visitation, has died.

I have read the tweet by the said Michell Guterl. My feeling is, maybe PF was abusive, but more likely Michell Guterl was not happy with the price for the puppy, or the quality of the service. He posts this stuff everywhere, and in the original tweet he called PF a "meniac", not sure whether it was "a maniac" or "a meanie". The tweet itself was slightly "meniac". MOO.

So unless five upstanding people from the said community support Michell, I reserve the right to doubt.
He was talking about a horse he owned not a puppy or the sale of one.

It's always interesting to see which family members are giving the DM their pics. Often that tells a story in its self.

Michell Guterl is a woman. I have no reason to doubt her account. JMO

This may have already been asked/answered and I apologize if so but is the ONLY activity from KB’s phone when it pinged in ID to her boss about time off?
There's been no confirmation. I wish we knew more other than 2 texts were allegedly sent 11/25 to employer and PF.

And none of those apply in this case.

I definitely have decided what is good and what is bad. And I am extremely judgmental of people who manage their horses with anger and roughness.

I won't even try to hide how very judgmental I am about it.

You and I could talk about this for pages, and probably agree on quite a bit....but keeping this related to KB....it's not a stretch from striking an animal out of anger and frustration to doing that to a human. Studies have proven the correlation.

I agree. And I will judge as well. Let someone try to abuse an animal around me.

I guess that’s why KB doesn’t live with him. He needs anger management.
IMO KB "relationship troubles" quotes that were pinned are starting to jive with this new information coming in about PF behavior. I feel like the pieces are slowly starting to fall into place.

I can't imagine an article like this latest helping to induce PF to decide to speak to LE...his lawyer will surely say his client has already been demonized in the media. Jmo

I was only able to watch maybe 30 seconds of one of his dog “training” videos and that was enough for me to see an animal abuser right there. It makes me SO damn angry!!!
Ut Oh. I'd better not watch. I cannot abide even the hint of cruelty to animals..any animal. This guy goes farther and farther down the ladder rungs every day. And it's scary to think how he could have acted with Kelsey. Hope that little baby girl is really and truly safe in his custody.

It was terrible. The fear, cowering of the dogs and the encouragement to lunge at and terrify baby cows was just sickening.

Ugh. Makes my heart sick trying NOT to envision it.

Okay ... where do you think LE should go from here to find KB and serve justice?

The two prime crime sites have been searched and released.

What is left?

What should be next?

What should they look for?

<modsnip: quoted post was removed> In addition to her word, I was able to witness enough that there’s no question in my mind.
