Yes and the Innocence Project.
My concern is that they have stopped their investigation with only PF. Why?

This is surely different than all the other missing women cases. Why aren't they searching for HER instead of chasing only HIM?

His attorney has given them everything and his property has been searched for two days. His truck taken.

Isn't it time to move on and look for Kelsey?
We have absolutely no evidence that they aren’t looking for Kelsey.

Their initial investigation focused on finding her and learning the circumstances of her disappearance.

Then they appeared to focus on him.

Why is it hard to believe that there is a reason for that?

These aren’t ignorant people. They consist of CBI and FBI agents who have vast experience in this sort of thing.

They know what they are doing.

If the last part of your paragraph happened, if PF (or other person), he/they may have intentionally left his/their phone at home, so there would be no tracking it.
MOO.
If PF intentionally left his phone at home and/or turned off, LE will be able to see from the call records that there was a period of time when all of the calls went to voicemail. And if it is unusual for him to not pick up calls for, let's say, more than 24 hours, then they can begin to develop a theory around that timeline.

I'm not so sure of that. History tells us that those appearing before the microphone sometimes take a huge beating by the public and sm.
Kind of a damned if you do and dammed if you don't.
Just because some are calling for PF to make a public appearance it appears his attorney does not think that wise.
Agreed.

Yet the fact that LE are still pleading with him to come and speak with them (not necessarily the public) says quite a lot; imo.

We don't know that they aren't investigating other people elsewhere. I can't help but think that the FBI is working on the cellphone ping in Idaho and all of the electronic evidence. They don't have KB's phone, but surely she left some electronic breadcrumbs.

I believe CB called for the welfare check on Nov. 25th because she could not reach PF. I think the only time they spoke was Dec. 2.

I thought they later clarified that the welfare check wasn't called for until December 2nd? It doesn't make sense that her mom would be worried enough to call for a welfare check but still wait another week before reporting her missing. I have been going by this timeline: TIMELINE OF KELSEY BERRETH'S DISAPPEARANCE | Daily Mail Online

The media reported a Nov. 25 welfare check and I believe it accurate. Dec. 2 a missing person report was filed. It isn't the same thing and I'll continue to hold the opinion the reporters got it right. JMO
Maybe one of the V-attorneys can weigh-in. I failed at researching the difference, if there is one, between "welfare check" (WC) and "community caretaker search" (CCS). Returns on CCS suggested this is a warrantless search exception due to concerns like illness, missing. But I never have thought that a simple WC was anything more than a knock on door, look through windows, ask neighbors. IIRC for the Dec 2 search, KB's brother was present, missing person report on file, so no warrant needed to enter the home. There has been a lot of confusion about Nov 25.

Welfare checks are meant to help people who may not be able summon help for themselves (ie super ill , broke a leg , child being kept from school etc) this why , at least in my state, until the person is located the officers keep stopping by. A week between welfare checks could have unfortunate results. MOO (based on experience with welfare checks)

I would really like to know everything that CB told the WPPD about the situation to encourage them to enter KB's home on 12/2.

I agree I think they have a lot of data now and there is a reason for their sharp focus IMO

Kelsey Berreth was last seen in a Woodland Park Safeway grocery store on Nov. 22, but her family hadn't heard from her after that. Berreth's mother called police for a welfare check on Nov. 25, but she wasn't there.

Missing Woodland Park mother requested time off work
Wow.
So this does show there was a check on the 25th, then KB's mom officially reported her missing on the 2nd of Dec.
Hmmmm. So I wonder what CB was told to stave her off. So to speak.
Thankful the CBI,and FBI are involved.

For anyone disbelieving that the investigation kicked off on DEC 2 when KB's mom contacted LE, here is the press conference with the chief of police stating that the welfare check was on DEC 2, which was conducted when the mom contacted them. (He calls the welfare check "community caretaker search.")

The fiance says he received a text from KB on Nov 25, but nobody knew about that until Dec 2.

Thanks! I didn't see AP on there. I saw AP used a whole bunch on another case thread, but not in relation to a particular person.....does it have a special meaning, or did I just miss it?

Exactly. The people doing this investigation are not “The Keystone Cops.”

Something is pointing them in his direction, and it isn’t a wild guess.

MOO.
I was thinking of this myself. Also, he could have a burner phone to keep in touch with family and friends, saying his phone wasn't working or something to that affect.

Those of us who have read every post know that the one and only welfare check request was on December 2, when it was requested and that there was a lot of bad info/reporting initially and since, in this case. As there almost always is nowadays...

Oh I'm sorry. I didn't realize there were search parties out searching for Kelsey.

Not that I’m known to be the best car parker in the world...but from the satelitte view, it seems there would be better places to park than right behind her two vehicles, when considering ease of backing the vehicle out again. Especially if he truly was only there to pick the baby up. Fortunately, it will be an easy thing for LE to ask neighbors:Was the truck routinely parked like that, or was this unusual? MOO
Somehow I had it pictured with a driveway in front, but with it in the back, and it looks like wooden privacy fences, it would certainly be harder to see things. Thank you for the photo.

Maybe there were two welfare checks by Woodland Park PD? One on Nov 25th and another when the brother came to check her duplex on Dec 2nd. ?
Nope, just the one on Dec. 2.
MOO
