She’s looking at little to no jail time. PF being off the streets is obviously the number one priority.

Kelsey died at his hand after all.
I know. Way too little! Still, I believe KB died at both their hands. One will pay and one gets by easily.

Frazee murder trial could start as soon as Friday

Right now, the plan is to begin the trial Friday afternoon. Each side would get an hour for an opening statements. Courtroom discussions show the state plans to call Cheryl and Clint Berreth, Kelsey's mother and brother respectively, to the witness stand Friday, according to NBC News.

DA May, you genius!

That's the way to do it.

Starting strong.

Nobody's going to be a more powerful voice for the prosecution than CB...Nobody.

CB is going to be the one to introduce KB to the jury.

Perfect call by the prosecution here. Perfect.

You never get a second chance to make a first impression.

Yup. It’s also the same way the affidavit read, so it’ll lay the groundwork for the case.

Contact with Kelsey was lost, PF started lying, and we found blood in the house.

I know a lot of people want to believe this. (KK is deplorable and I too wish she would get more time.)

But, evidence doesn't place her in Colorado the day of the murder.
Which is also good for placing the sole blame on PF in the long run.

She did nothing to halt the plot, participated in failed attempts, cleaned a crime scene, destroyed evidence, was present when a body was burned, misled an investigation, and lied to the FBI.

Yes, we all agree she is disgusting. We all agree that in an ideal world, she would be punished for the extent of her involvement.

But as you say, evidence doesn’t put her in Colorado on the day of the murder, and everything (material) she has claimed either makes sense, or is supported by independent evidence.

Do I think she is capable of murder? Yes.

Do I believe she participated in the murder itself? Absolutely not.

I’d have to ignore evidence to believe that.

GJ, just noticed your avatar!

You win the internet today.

Back on point: Thanks for keeping us all focused on the facts, which are as follows:

PF is the one who's going on trial for the murder of KB.
PF is in fact the one who murdered KB.

All the circus tents in the world can't shield him from Lady Justice.

Jury extras in the #PatrickFrazee trial - Friday, 91 potential jurors will pare down to 12 jurors/4 alternates. Excuses from those who didn't make the cut? Thanksgiving plans, daycare problems & a librarian who the tiny school counts on. @ABC

(Sorry I'm late! Now to catch up...)

Ha! At this point we could dedicate a whole thread to his lies alone.
How about this one?

PF said he never went to pick up the package (Christmas ornament) at KB's house. Then RS detailed how he drove him there and got out and retrieved the package for him. MOO

Because RS didn't want him caught on the neighbour's video camera, no less

Judge Sells probably ordered that a secret underground tunnel be constructed leading from the Jail to the Courthouse.

As we all know, Judge Sells is extremely concerned with shielding PF from both the media and the public eye.

JMO.

Hmmm.... and this just might explain why so few words from Sam this week.

I bet he's pulling double duty covering the tunnel construction too.

(Judge picked up on his carpentry skills after inspecting the courtroom seat he was building for the trial, and agreed he'd be the sole source to report the tunneling progress to him).

It certainly seems as if we've heard of a number of ways in which RS has been extremely "helpful" to PF, doesn't it?
  • Makes a trip out to KB's townhome with him to retrieve a package.
  • Makes a trip to the bank with him to request security footage and gives the teller strict instructions to "forget they were ever there," thereby ensuring their visit will be indelibly etched in the teller's mind.
  • Offers his two cents to Agent Slater and suggests KB was in rehab for reasons other than stress and that she had a hand in her own disappearance.
  • Anybody thinking before this case is over we're going to need to add "Makes a trip out to the transfer station to dump trash bags while PF waits in his truck" to this list?
This guy's an absolute peach.

Sounds like nothing new is happening until Friday morning. Whew!

Let’s hope the weather and the roads are cooperative for all the workers, journalists, and jurors.

And I sure need a break before I lose my true job -- you know, the one for the mortgage and internet. :p

You sure got that right.

By the time the trial is over he may need a plea deal of his own.

Im still wanting to search the "root cellar" that no guests are allowed to get near when staying at the B+B at Nash Ranch. LOL Not even sure if its close to where the tote was stored on the hay bales, but heck, lets search it anyway. :)

Who is RS? I have a lot of catching up to do.

Who is RS? I have a lot of catching up to do.

RS is the self-proclaimed "Best friend" and "Father figure" of PF.

You can read all about him in Pages 10 & 11 of Attachment "A" here:
https://www.courts.state.co.us/userfiles/file/Court_Probation/04th_Judicial_District/Teller/caseofinterest/2018CR330/002/18-118 Search Warrant.pdf

*ETA: "Father Figure of the Year" also gets mentioned on pages 13 & 17 in the context of phone pings showing both PF's and KB's phones traveling together to and from the direction of RS' residence on both Thanksgiving Day and on 11/24, both of which are absolutely critical dates in the timeline.
