I'm sure they were concerned for her.

And I bet Patrick could not stand the idea of Kelsey owning her own home, living there with the baby, having a great job and not having to be controlled by him.

Imo
That's why KB told her Mom PF "got posses" when he found out the two ladies were looking for a home to buy.

Then......CB did buy a home----bet that settled well with PF...sarcasm

CB put the condo in their LLC’s name, I’ve wondered many times why they did that. Part of me thinks to keep it as an asset PF could not touch if in fact he and KB married and then divorced.

At the time, LE said the post came from someone else. But it was strange.

I’ve always wondered who posted that.
Apparently, it was mistaken identity and it was another Sheila Frazee. Figure the odds on that one! It also appears that Wizard of Oz was playing that day as it is a TG favourite?

I mean I think that’s all that’s there. It’s farm country. I hope that the fact she is from farmers can somehow come out. It could make a difference but they may assume she’s not like them unless that’s expressed.

I believe it has already come out. They heard testimony yesterday from CB how KB used to watch the planes dusting the crops on their farm when she was a child. KB wanted to get her pilots license and be a crop duster when she grew up. They also heard about CB helping KB search for a ranch/farm property to buy. I'm predicting that on Monday when CB resumes the stand we will hear all about KB being out all night helping PF check his cows. I have a feeling that type of activity (helping check cows) was a regular occurrence during their relationship. She wasn't some city slicker. She was a farm girl herself and seems to have wanted that life. MOO.

Jumping of this, what an irony. PF tells KB she won't NEED to work once she's in CO, yet that was not at all the case. Didn't matter, KB was a go getter and was well able to take care of herself. She was a successful woman. Then you have the Frazee crazies likely seeing KB as a "gold digger." I mean they have a FRANCH, don't you know! The truth here is that the B's were infinitely better situated financially than the F's. Maybe that's what PF was looking for, someone to buy him a REAL Ranch! SF was a jealous, control freak. Just like KK was jealous of KB, SF was jealous of CB. KB and CB were EVERYTHING those two snakes are not. JMHO

And I’d almost bet one of the reasons PF got mad about KB wanting to buy a place and not rent was maybe because CB insisted his name not be on it. But that’s MOO.

Oh excellent!! Yeah she definitely was country.

And, I think if the B's had fallen victim to buying a real ranch for that demon, their poor daughter still would have ended up murdered. I think they knew in their hearts that relationship would not last in the long term but never suspected it would end this way :(

I mean, it's hard to say how well CB is coming off with the jury since we don't get the benefit of watching her testimony. But if her court testimony is anything like her TV interviews I think she will read as a very sympathetic witness. My hope really is that the jury will "connect" with CB and see KB as one of their own. If they sympathize with PF over KB just because he is a rancher and a local man then they all have hearts of stone. MOO.

That day, he called Kenney, who was in Idaho, and said she had a mess to clean up and to come to Berreth's condo. Kenney felt that she was in too deep and that her family was endangered, Viehman said.

I realize this is old news but if some guy told me I had a mess to clean up after he murdered his child’s mother... OMGOSH... I still just can’t believe anyone would do that.

Patrick Frazee murder trial: Opening statements
This is going to be one of the biggest sticking points with the jury, I believe. They will wonder, like most of us do, why the heck she agreed to go clean up his mess.

Why not call the Woodland Park PD and report the crime scene? She hadn't done anything illegal yet, and he would have been arrested, and thus unable to harm her daughter.

This decision by her, to answer his call and drive down there to help him cover his crimes, is going to bother the jury, big time.

I HOPE the jury comes to a similar conclusion as many of us have, which is that her plea deal was a necessary evil, to make certain the young child was kept safely away from the Franch, forevermore.

Her Bible, too.

KB's blood was splattered all over her Bible.

Let that sink in.
Yeah, I hope the jury hears about that.
Did KK throw the Bible in the garbage and burn that along with Kelsey's body?

Yes.
AA page 8
"Blood was on the curtains, pillows, BOOKS, baby toys stuffed animals, oven mitts, Berreth's purse and other items. Lee took the items covered in blood from Berreth's apartment and burned them on Frazee's property with Frazee."

Haven't been on WS for awhile, just catching up on this case. Still so very heartbreaking to read about. Something that always catches me when it's mentioned...that they met on-line. Am sure there are many successful relationships that began this way, but I've heard about, and experienced, nothing but varying degrees bad. Seems like this means of meeting (especially meeting people out of your locality) just leads to bad, not this bad usually, but bad.

I’m not sure we’ll find out her true reasoning for not calling LE.

She had already made trips there to murder KB, although it didn’t happen. She might have felt that she was already deep into it (duh) and he likely made threats that convinced her he’d drag her into any investigation, threatening what he’s inferring now, that she was behind it all.

I still think she had more to do with this than we will never know. But I also think he planned for KK to truly be the murderer, she just didn’t follow through on his orders.

and also.....is there a chance that SF could lose the franch? How do they make money for that thing?

BBM:

"We Live In Hope."

Next to PF being convicted and sentenced to mandatory life behind bars, there's nothing that would make me happier than to see Ma F. tossed out on her ear the same way that she tossed KB out of the franch.

It would be poetic justice.

JMO.

I really have to agree with this. I guess that is what people do now. Just meet a random person from wherever, and decide to have a relationship with that person.

INMO, if the defense strategy is to make KB a bad Mother, all around "bad woman", that would backfire. If I was on a jury, hearing all of that, it still makes zero sense to kill her. Sure, call CPS, try to get custody of Baby K.

But cold blooded murder and then disposal of the body is premeditation. I would go with Capital punishment here.

I've really tried not to think about KK, and now with the trial underway, I'm reminded how she's like a character in an awful Lifetime movie script: the girl obsessed with a guy she's never been able to catch, and maybe if she "proves her love to him" he'll reciprocate, and they can live happily ever after.

She's worse than a teenage love triangle!

(Frazee is the Diane Zamora -- except not the academic)...

Yuck!

Finally caught up and many thanks to all for keeping us updated with links, tweets, and of course @GoJacks for braving the media circus to sit in funky old Teller County Court to eyeball PF.

We had posters check in from at least 8 countries for this trial start, but PF couldn’t make even one phone call to the mother of his child after she’d gone missing. Calls KK 46 times. That quite telling. IMO

So ...PF’s defense is going to give us the “raw and unedited” version of events? After running those events through not one, but two entire teams of defense lawyers (Loew, then Steigerwald). For ten months.

Hogwash.
