Yeah, there's that old school of dog training: Negative Reinforcement. Fear Training. Things have evolved now to clicker training and Positive Reinforcement. PF was especially into fear training from what I saw on the YouTube videos. I'm a vet tech who spent all of my cont ed time in behavior classes. There's absolutely no excuse for his training methods. They're effective if you like being feared by your animal.

Agreed - that's animal abuse, unfortunately popular enough that many consider it "normal."

You know, like beating your wife and kids in order to get them to behave used to be "normal."

So someone who has even a shred of sympathy for Krystal, anyone, tell me this.
She cleans a horrific murder scene, then she goes to Sonic and buys food for herself, Patrick and Kaylee, then he tells her along the way that Kelsey’s last words were “Please stop!”, then she flies to Las Vegas and partied with her friends. Now how is the jury supposed to have sympathy for her? How does that testimony help the prosecution if the jury hates her? I’m sick to my stomach to think this person breathes our air. And I want Patrick put away for life. But how is it she isn’t punished for her role? Karma? BS. She is worse than I thought.
The testimony helps the prosecution because it exposes PF for what he is.

An absolute monster.

And while the jury may hate her (as we do) what matters is that PF is on trial. She’s providing damning testimony, and hate for her doesn’t mean that what she says is untrue.

No PF, no murder.

No KK, no murder case (or a much weaker one).

Some interesting things. SF was only brought up once in KK's testimony when I was there.

Asked where baby was, KK said inside with SF. Viehman asked if she saw SF, she said not at this point. This was before they headed to Nash Ranch.

THIS is the interesting part.

KK said that when they got back from Nash Ranch PF backed right up to a water trough which was full of old wood pallets.
Viehman asks do you remember this trough being there earlier in the day.
KK says no, she believed the trough to have been moved.

It wasn't elaborated on further. but who moved this, if so?????
just something I found interesting.

I'm curious how KK knew at that point that KB's mother would be coming to the condo.

JMO
Seriously? KK is stupid, no doubt. But it only stands to reason that CB would be coming to look for her daughter! Even a dumb bunny like KK could figure that out, don’t you think??

I actually think this may have been one of the smarter things he did (intentionally or not, lol!). If he was seen in person or on camera this way he's seen wearing the same clothes. And, blood is much easier to get out of clothing if you wash it immediately.
I’m imagining this now - the mother of his child is laying on the floor having said “please stop” very likely bloody and there is blood everywhere from the beating he gave her and he strips and washes his clothes and does what? Checks on the baby ? And sits around waiting for the laundry to be done -wearing what? IMO He really has no soul - no remorse - nothing - is he a sociopath and was this his first murder ? I’m beginning to wonder

There's nothing to say that those first hits or even towards her head they could have been any part of her body beating her to death.

Right. We cant forget its PF we are talking about here.

You know, the idiot that made a million mistakes trying to murder someone.

Well, I do not have a shred of sympathy for KK so perhaps I am not the person to answer - but I am not as surprised as some by her going for food after cleaning up a bloody crime scene given her profession as a nurse - I would never have the stomach to clean up and see what they do on a daily basis. Now, do I find her incredibly heartless? Absolutely. But I see why the deal was made and this is the best justice that can be obtained in this case because her testimony is so important to putting PF behind bars for life. Deals with the devil, so to speak, are made everyday in our legal system in an effort to obtain the best possible justice given the evidence at hand.

As for the jurors, I do not believe they have to like her to believe her. Someone can be a horrible person yet be credible. I believe the prosecution has masterfully laid out the phone tracking and security footage, along with other corroborating testimony prior to her taking the stand to help prove her credibility. And it does line up. Witnesses often do not have clean hands - but jurors will see if their testimony lines up. If I were a juror, I would be looking to PF to take the stand in his defense (despite legally not having to - if this woman was spewing lies and he is innocent - how could he not?) and a whole lot more that I am certain the defense does NOT have up their sleeves...

No PF, no murder.

It's also worth a thought - as much as most hate her - to realize she's going to do some time. Less, yes - but with that, she's giving up information that will destroy her family. Her long-term affairs, daily calls, and pregnancies, abortion/s. It isn't easy to sympathize with her but there is no doubt this is easy for her, either.

It would have made sense to show how easily manipulated she was - that seems pretty clear to me. She was PF's tool, his slave. She would do anything for him.

While it makes us despise her, we should try to understand that type, as well.

No, I'm not feeling sorry for her at all - but do feel it's worth understanding her type of personality.

In a very secondary way - IN NO WAY A COMPARISON to KB - she was also a victim.

(I know, I'll be hated for this post - I'm ducking under the desktop to avoid the rotten tomatoes right now!)

I would say PF did. SF2 testified that PF went out and did some "chores" while he and his family were still there on Thanksgiving.

It is a really, really horrifying thing to imagine. Especially since he was there with KB and KB2 for so long. So long.

Wow! Well that explains why he was there for that length of time.

Imagine... stripping down, walking around naked...amongst the blood and brain matter, while he washed and dried his clothes ... with baby K there ... and her mommy beat to death laying on the floor. There are no words...he cannot be human. He simply cannot! MOO

Thanks Tippy, I love Sam's detailed recaps as well as the ones you've been linking as well.
Did you need me to find the tweet about KB looking up the recipe at 2:20? This afternoon we were trying to narrow down time of death based on that and now with the laundry I think we can assume it was between 2:20 and 3:15 IMO factoring in the wash cycle time and dryer time

Atleast he figured out how to use the washer and dryer. Gotta give him credit for that one.

I’m a bit surprised there wasn’t a call to mommy at this time.

“I undressed myself, and put the clothes in the machine. What now Ma?”
Lmao.

According to 9News KUSA:

PF told KK that he cleaned up at Kelsey's and washed his clothes there.
He may have washed his clothes there, but I still say he had closed already at Kelseys. Remember early on when KK said that apart of the cleaning up she was doing laundry? I think his clean wet clothes were in the washer. I feel KK put them in the dryer

I thought I knew what had happened. But the details today...I have no words. How can people possibly be that evil!

  • #1,057
My heart also breaks for KK's ex husband and their children. This has to be so hard to hear, and you know he will hear about it for sure. Over that varmint, he lost a wife who got pregnant by him while being married to CL, to which they had their own family.

Such a good point Steelslady! So so many victims here... So heartbreaking! :(

I
I don't see people really having sympathy for her. I think people can use logic and experience with emotional abuse to understand how she found herself in that position. Also, finding herself in that position does not automatically mean that she is a liar and now lying on the stand for attention. People do really, really awful things. But, in this scenario the awful-est thing was killing KB with KB2 in the house. And only one person did that.
I got it. In fact, I’ve had it for months. One person killed KB. But...No way do I understand how she found herself in that position. No way do I want to. And if you ask Kelsey’s family, I think they will agree with me. I never said she is lying on the stand. But a liar? Yes. She lied to her husband, family, she’s a cheat. I would be willing to bet the murder didn’t even bother her. It was getting caught that bothers her. She cries for herself and no one else.

Yup. First try to obtain full custody by making false abuse allegations.

If that fails, kill your way to custody.
