I have a very hard time even understanding how nurse could have withheld information like she did, much less another human. I'm open to it though.

Does the jury know she was a nurse, therefore a mandated reporter if she believed such?

Would loooove to be there for jury questions for her.

Atty is in the court room. PF is not. Hmmmm......
Maybe they did a deal and PF is with LE taking them to the body? And as soon as the body is found the attorneys will do whatever they need to do in court?

Interesting that the proceedings have been delayed. KK is there, but PF is not, according to MSM tweets. The DA announced the delay without offering a reason.

Could this mean PFs team wants to negotiate a deal to stop further testimony? Or is this a normal multi-day trial thing?

moo
I think this is odd as Judge Sells runs a really, really tight ship. PF's is sinking.....fast!

Let's just hope that this coward's attempt to permanently end the trial is successful.

I doesn't make sense to me either..... the only sense it makes to me is the 2:20pm is a typo error and should be 2:20am for the stomach issues and then the 11:00am is the sweet potato casserole recipe (I thought that was the last record of KB's google history but I could be all wrong)..... waiting to see what @oviedo clarifies/confirms!! You would think it wouldn't be such a big issue but yet it totally is as it narrows down a TOD :(

To help answer TOD time of death, we really narrowed that down yesterday.

We narrowed TOD to be between 2:20pm - 4:20pm for sure on Thanksgiving day.

And someone even mentioned that since we heard that PF started to do laundry there after the murder that we can probably safely chop off 30 minutes or more off the end time and maybe even make the TOD 2:20pm - 4:00pm or maybe even 2:20pm - 3:30pm on the end.

But for sure the window is 2:20pm-4:20pm because the 2:20pm comes from the last known search on KBs computer where she looked up a recipe after we see pictures of her going into her place a little earlier than that. And the 4:20pm time is when PF appears on video coming out with the baby the first time.

So 2:20-4:20 is a safe TOD window.

Hope this helps.

I wonder ... how does PF know it is not hard to hit someone one the back of the head? Has he done it before to another human being...of course we don’t know but maybe LE has an idea?!
Or maybe he has previous experience with animals.

I’m super curious about how the cross will go. I can’t wait to hear the questions and answers. I’m going to call that the prosecution does a redirect after the cross to hammer some points down before moving to the next witness. I’m wondering if after they’ll retain KK or release her from any potential call back at a later time.

Today should be very interesting.

MOO... The DA will get nasty, really nasty, try to destroy her reputations and integrity. We all know our thoughts and opinion of KK, just betting some jurors have those same thoughts.

While everyone is waiting, the link has an explanation of how and why championship dog semen is collected and kept for up to 100 years to preserve bloodlines.
My two dogs are true rescues. I tried to explain it to them, but they didn't seem interested at all. IMO
http://www.matamatavets.co.nz/wp-content/themes/mvs-mobile/docs/Freezing Canine Semen article 2009.pdf
And this is commonly done for valuable horses as well.
People buy the vials of semen and pay for storage for years before using them.

How does an educated "nurse" not find a way to communicate with law that a murder may be imminent? I just cannot even fathom the number of times and ways this could have all been turned around. And when she's older this little baby girl will learn how she never got to know her mother because her father bashed her to death repeatedly. Love and hugs to all the Berreth family.

BBM. It doesn't make any sense to me either. But on the other hand, I wondered if PF possibly told KK that his brother was a cop and therefore the police would be on his side/alert him right away if KK ever tried to call LE? Many of us even wondered if PF's brother would tell the truth on the stand or not (thank God he was truthful). I've never been in a situation where I felt I couldn't trust the local police but I know that some places have corruption issues...I'm thinking about this right now because I was reading up on developments in the Thomas Brown case this morning (major police corruption issues there). But back to this case-- I guess I would have called the FBI if I thought police wouldn't protect me from someone making these kind of threats to do violence. It's so upsetting that KB died a brutal death at the hands of this monster (PF) and so many people seemed to let it happen. I want it to make sense somehow, but sometimes there is no making sense of evil. MOO.

Does Colorado have an Alfred plea? I know the plea does the same thing - give an appropriate sentence. It just seems unsatisfying as for as justice for the victim.

thanks @Hatfield apparently Sam said the recipe search was at 11am but every MSM report I've seen has it at 2:20pm. The laundry is important because he washed and dried his clothes IIRC. that's at least 60-90 minutes total - jeans take awhile to dry (at least for me). JMO

He told KK it wasn't that hard when he was soliciting her to murder KB. But, after he bludgeoned KB to death it turns out, it was hard according to KK's testimony yesterday. Will see if I can find the quote. MOO

ETA: There's another more detailed quote, but this is the gist of it.

Krystal Lee details relationship with Patrick Frazee, plot to kill Kelsey Berreth
“He said he swung away and that it was hard," Kenney testified that Frazee told her.
Well, the fact that he kept swinging tells me it could not have been that difficult for him emotionally.

I think he just meant the physical act.
I've heard other killers say they found that it was more difficult or took longer than they expected after murdering someone.

When he told KK it was hard for him to eat dinner after killing her, he probably was thinking of all the blood and the mess that it caused, rather than it being hard for him to kill his fiancee and mother of his child.

MOO...Maybe PF called in sick. I know I was after hearing KK, yesterday.

Totally agree.

She could have reported to LE, the children's father, stayed in Idaho and out of Cripple Creek, many options.

It was her decision to put KB and child, KKs childrens and herself at risk.

MOO, KK wanted KB out of the way. KB was a pilot, financially secure, the mother of PFs child (after she aborted hers); she had to go!! Greed and vindication drove KKs plans for premeditated murder, not fear.

Wonder how this will play out in custody arrangements with KKs kids?

Jmho
All true! IMHO

Ok, I CAN RELATE TO KB. Many here can I'm absolutely sure! I am religious and got in a long relationship with an extremely charismatic man. The most charismatic man I ever met. But he was scary and cold at home. (I never let him touch the kids, though).
But
I can relate to the constant forgiveness a woman goes through, the trying to keep them happy, the confusion, guilt involved, and everything else that goes with it...
I'm happily divorced I might add.
I relay this in hopes of explaining to others about a flip side guys can have. Stupid I stayed so long I know. Yeah, I know.

Grandma told me about guys like that - called them "house devil, street angels."

I grew up to call them "crazy makers." The gaslighting that makes you think you're losing your mind!

Not stupid -- you followed your instinct and got out. Good on you @Aydrianna523. :)

Maybe he's doing a plea to protect KK from screwing up on her deal. Sick b*st*rd
If he's doing a deal, it ain't to protect anyone but himself, IMO. What else does KK know, that he doesn't want revealed?
