Even nurses friend knew much of what was going on and didn't go directly to LE so nothing more can surprise me when it comes to this ring of fools.
I wonder if they will be called up to the stand.

yes, she knew in October 2018 IIRC - and did nothing to stop the murder. IMO

I believe he told her exactly where/how also. Why would he leave that bit out?
JMO
Because, he knew if it all went "south", which it did, he knew she was implicated enough he could throw her to the wolves. If she knew where the body was and it was found, there would be MORE evidence pointing at him. It may be the one smart thing he did. JMO

I wonder if they will be called up to the stand.
If KK testifies to any of this, there is a possibility that they will be called to the stand

  • #187
I think the defense will attack KK's credibility. It is all they got.

Exactly. She even went on national television to state as much. In the interview she did.

And then the prosecution will counter with witnesses and evidence that corroborate the relevant parts of her testimony. You do not have to like her. But there is direct evidence to support that what she said is true. Hopefully the prosecutors have practiced this with her over and over. Edited to add that they will state this clearly in closing arguments as well. She said X - evidence for this is Y. Straight down the list right into the jury's ears.

“I shut the door and stood there. I was thinking about how bad it was, and how it was bad," she said. "And how I was probably next. I didn’t know what to do."

How about calling 911?

ETA to correct paste error
BBM
She didn't call 911 because she didn't want to get caught, anymore than Frazee didn't want to get caught.
She never went to police, and she most likely did not purposely leave evidence behind for investigators to find to help solve the case.

I'm assuming the jury does not have to believe everything she says, and hopefully will focus on the important details that correspond to the evidence LE has and will still find her credible.

For the most part, anyway.

Imo

Clayton Sandell on Twitter has a video of KK entering the courthouse. I can't for the life of me get it to copy reasonably to post here.

And a bit of snark: KK's gone a bit overboard with the dark roots look

Kenney testifies on Frazee's attempts to solicit her to murder Berreth
SABBM:
As cameras, live tweeting and live blogging are not allowed during these proceedings, the following information is drawn from extensive notes made by News 5's Sam Kraemer in the courtroom.
  • According to Kenney, there were bloody foot prints up the stairs and saw the bloody candles up there.
  • According to Kenney, there was a sweater in the middle of the floor in the living room. She says there was blood on it and it was tied in a knot with the sleeves, which she threw in the trash. She said she saw bloody footprints in the bathroom.
  • When she met up with Frazee, Kenney said he asked "did you get it done,” to which she responded, “I did the best I could do.” Kenney said Frazee responded and said “You better hope you did because our lives depend on it.”
  • According to Kenney, Frazee said he washed his pants while he was there, and that he tried cleaning some up with baby wipes.
  • According to Kenney, on November 25 Frazee brought her Berreth's phone, gave her the password, told her to drive back to Woodland Park and send Berreth's mom a text saying she'd call her tomorrow.
  • Kenney said whe she met up with Frazee he told her they were going to get the tote, adding that her gun was with it. Frazee then allegedly said “We started this. We’re going to finish it." Kenney said they went to property Frazee leases for cattle on Nash Ranch.
  • To get rid of the phone, Kenney said she burned it at her house in Kimberly, Idaho. She said she burned her purse at the same time, the same evening she got back, November 25.

This KOAA piece updated this morning is the best article I've found online so far about all of the testimony heard in court yesterday, which is no surprise, considering the article was written up based on our main man Sam's extensive note-taking in court.

It's a very comprehensive account detailing KK's testimony, as well as testimony that was presented earlier in the day.

Highly recommend that everyone read this one with your morning cuppa' as we wait the first court break and subsequent tweet storm today.

*As an aside, Sam really should be nominated for some type of journalism award for his coverage of this case.

JMO.

Also from KOAA article above:

According to Kenney, Frazee told her to hit Berreth in the back of the head with a pipe from the bed of his truck. She told the court he said, “it’s not that hard," <snip>
________________

Oh! I see.

It's "not that hard" to relentlessly bludgeon someone to death.

Good to know.

I mean, I would have thought it might be unimaginably, impossibly difficult to commit such a violet, brutal assault against a helpless, innocent victim....but what do I know?

You're the expert, PF.

This monster is Evil Incarnate.

JMO.

VIDEO: Krystal Kenney Lee arrives at a Colorado courthouse for a second day of testimony against her former lover #PatrickFrazee, accused of murdering his fiancée #KelseyBerreth. Story here: https://abcn.ws/2CllO2Q
9:01 AM - 7 Nov 2019

Hair down, white sweater, black pants. A female officer lets her in a back/side door and her attorney (it appears) follows her inside.

IMO Her credibility is in question. Not that I think PF is innocent, but I just don't believe most of what this co-conspirator has said. I believe she is making PF look as bad as possible so that her huge part in this is downplayed and she can walk away with her sweet deal.

And now we KNOW. The foil WAS on top of the cinn rolls. Then KK saw foil had blood spatter and discarded the foil. Oh, the cinnamon rolls. We spent a lot of time on those.

I recall she has relatives in the area?
I was surprised to hear Sam say that she watched baby K one of those times, prior to 11/22/18, and threw a roast in the crock pot for supper. Was that at the Franch? If so, where was WW of the W? Sam said he put KK down saying she probably put too much spice on it. Also, criticized her for not lighting the fire properly. Such a total jerk, except he's a monster!

That day, she couldn't visit her relatives, as Krystal said her family thought that she was at a birthday party, and kept telling Patrick that she wanted to leave. So, on that day, she didn't want anyone related to her to know she was there. I forgot she had relatives there.

Nothing surprises me with anything he says to the women in his life. For some reason, this guy had them feeding out of his hand. Unreal.

Patrick Frazee is on trial for the murder of Kelsey Berreth. Here's what we know about the case so far

snipped
That day, 29-year-old KB called her mom twice to talk about Christmas shopping and her plans for Thanksgiving. She also sent her fiance a text to tell him she bought sweet potatoes but forgot pecans.

The short clip from KB's trip to a Woodland Park grocery store would be the last time she was seen alive.

Frazee trial: Defense questions timeline of surveillance photos

Among her Google search records from the evening of Nov. 21 were song lyrics to Joe Nichols’ "What’s a Guy Gotta Do," bleeding ulcers and how to soothe them, and related searches for other digestive issues. Berreth had called her mom the morning of Nov. 22 noting that Frazee felt sick and she suspected stomach ulcers, Cheryl Berreth said in court earlier in the week.

On Nov. 25, Adams found five different searches for Walgreens from KB's account, and said KB had performed those searches.

He told Reed those searches don’t appear to be consistent with a couple that’s breaking up. Instead, he said, they appear to show that KB was concerned for PF.

Frazee trial: Witnesses explain suspicions after woman disappears
On the morning of Thanksgiving day (Nov. 22) — the day of the alleged murder — KB hadn’t gone to bed until 4 a.m. because she had been helping PF check cattle and get medicine for him, CB said.

CB confirmed that during their phone conversations that morning, she knew Kelsey wanted to create a backup plan for dinner and wanted to get her gun back — though it wasn’t clear why it wasn’t in her possession — because she didn’t feel safe running without it, CB said. CB noted the structure of the text seemed odd. It had lots of punctuation marks and exclamation points, which KB typically didn’t use.

Affidavit para 14 outlines the 1am - 4am communications between KB and PF.

So far, I am not finding a reference to the pie recipe search in the warrant/affidavit. Hoping Sam or someone clarifies this.
On November 25th, Kelsey allegedly searched Walgreen's five times? Didn't Krystal already bring the phone back with her to Idaho?

For those trying to keep the facts straight:
Several reporters quoted KK yesterday as saying that she first met PF in Lake George at a dance at the Teller County Fair in 2006.
Lake George, which is northwest of Florissant, is not in Teller county. It is in Park county. The Teller county fair is held at the county fairgrounds in Cripple Creek, the last last weekend in July / first weekend in August every year. They usually have two dances, one on Friday night and one on Saturday night. Both feature a live western swing band. Cripple Creek is southwest of PF's home. When entering town on County Road One from Divide, the fairgrounds is prominent of the left side of the road. To reach the courthouse where the trial is taking place, one would drive to the fourth intersection from the fairgrounds, turn right and travel 1/2 city block. She had to have gone right past it on the way to testify.......I'm at a loss as to how she got that wrong. JMO

No, I think you're confused (or me?) I'm talking about a time BEFORE the weekend of the 23rd/24th/25th Nov. No way she was at the Franch cooking and taking care of baby K THAT weekend.
