PF claimed that he burned deer antlers in the trough, and Sam believes this could have been used as a cover if the boys found any bones.
Wasn't KK using a burner phone to communicate with PF on Nov. 23-25?Well one of the burner phones was for KK to text KB and try to set up a coffee date as her "Cassie Johnson" alter ego:
Frazee’s attorney asked her how many burner phones she had, to which she said she had two. Prosecutors asked her what she did with the second. She responded that she used it to text Berreth to set up the coffee meeting. She said she burned it after she left on Oct. 21.

Yes, KK told LE PF dumped the body in the landfill or a river.I was going to ask this question....what river or rivers are close by that the remain could have been dumped in?
I thought early in reporting, it was said LE was observed searching a river. That KK told LE about PF dumping the body in a river. Does anyone remember this?
I wonder if PF told the young ‘men’ which river he used.
I think we have a lot of bombshells coming out in the next days. LE kept it all very quiet, no leaks. Good for them!

I think we learned that there will be roughly 60 witnesses passing through court. You don't think the Prosecution is going to stack up their testimony such that SF will have to tell the truth or be branded a liar or invoke the 5th? The teenagers were compelling witnesses and its hard not to doubt their testimony. We have already heard from both the teenager and KK that SF saw the fire, I believe. SF has limited options in her testimony. How will we know SF is telling the truth? I think she'll testify they often carefully burned refuse at the ranch which is what the ranch hand testified. What I would like to know is how she'll explain calling KB a hooker.

Ha! I wish. ADX Florence. It’s a Federal facility though. If he could only go to that terrible prison where you get one sliver of window looking onto nothing and no human contact....dinner through a slit in the door....the one where all the terrorists reside.
I wonder how many witnesses the defense will have.....zero? Who can they call?
I don't believe SF had anything to do with KB's murder.I think mom and son talked about “what if KB died” and then mentioned several different ways such as a car accident, break in at house, etc. As time went on, mom could probably tell by PF behavior that he was planning on murder. When PF was late for turkey, she knew and seeing KK confirmed it, the fire was the final confirmation. If PF did not let mom in on planning she can get by with “I don’t know”. Liar liar pants on fire...
Probably some expert witnesses (forensics and digital maybe).
They also have a couple investigators from the public defenders office.
So they only discovered these two when they were seen on video at the landfill?
LE talked with them and learned of them filling in the burn pit at the franch?
Would LE have interviewed them before KK told her story or am I completely confused?
Too bad they can't send him to prison in Mississippi.....hell on earth....Ha! I wish. ADX Florence. It’s a Federal facility though.

Thanks. That answers a few questions. Based on the timing of their interview with law enforcement, I agree, this information almost certainly came from KK.The youth that testified in court today first traveled with PF to a scrap yard (Evraz Steel) a few days after Thanksgiving.
It was brother SF2 that first testified about a couple of "white ranch hands" that were with PF when he met him in Co Springs to exchange a death certificate. They were headed to a scrap yard and SF2 said he actually recommended Evraz scrap yard to PF.
(This scrap yard is not the same as the transfer station where we saw video PF stayed in the vehicle, or Midland Landfill located in Fountain Co where investigators spent a month searching for KB body).
The trip to the tranfer station on video didn't happen until mid December -- day after the warrant search of the franchette.
I believe the ranch hands testified they were first interviewed by LE end of December so this could have been after interviewing SF2 or KK. More than likely this info came to LE by KK.

Yes, but what if SF refused to give PF the $$$ needed to pay for child support that he for what ever reason didn't have and made the simple comment, "Son, take care of your own problems yourself".I don't believe SF had anything to do with KB's murder.
I think KK slept in her car because either she or PF didn't want his mother seeing her. The murder was their twisted collaboration.

Co still has death penalty -- DA May had a press conference to announce he wasn't seeking the dp. (It's here somewhere -- maybe Media thread).Wouldn’t it be great if they could poll the jury now ?? There is no way after this well constructed display of evidence and testimony he will be freed and I’m guessing they may wonder why they can’t have the death penalty - doesn’t CO still have it ??
