Why would the head security officer of a large hospital know who was at work? Not questioning his/her word, just seems odd to me. JMOL

She disposed of part of the things she burned at the hospital. He probably recovered security footage.

Trying to think through what the defense is planning on doing to try to prove their opening statement that KK murdered KB, but not in her condo.

Serious question--what do you guys think? Will they just hold their theory until they close? Are they even allowed to do that if there is no evidence to back up the theory?

Yes, they can do that, but it is a horrible idea because the jury will remember that and it will affect the defense’s credibility.

There is my big question again! KK traded vehicles in the WalMart parking lot in Jerome that day at 3:00 pm. It's a 34 minute round trip, not counting getting in and out of cars, according to Google Maps and Directions. KK was checked in through security from 5:25 am to 4:45 pm. Did she just boogey out of work without checking her card through security, or does she have a stunt double? Don't really expect to get an answer, although I'm sure I will some. JMO

I've always wanted to know how KK perceived PF's handling of the tote. How HEAVY was it?? Easy enough to swing around a tote with a few bloody cloths and toys in it. Not quite the same with a 110lb. body. Takes a little more "muscle". Maybe somebody should ask her that question. JMHO

Do you remember if Sam or GoJacks mentioned it had wheels? If not, I wish someone would ask that question. MOO

Did the head security officer of the large hospital give KK Saturday and Sunday off? What excuse did she give for needing to be off? Did PF time the murder to correspond with her regular days off, for the cleanup? Just some of those nagging questions I have that don't seem to be getting answered IMO

Scheduling would be the responsibility of the Nursing Supervisor or Unit Charge Nurse.

Time off... PTL (Paid Time Off) is requested by logging into Kronos to complete request. No reason is given for PTL, unless unusual circumstances, family emergency, no PTL available. It's a privacy violation to question an employee about ANY time off. If requesting extended Family Medial Leave under federal law, a form is competed usually by employee and physician, but again NO medial diagnosis is given. Human Resources (HR) handles all FML

My guess is that no, KK does not have a stunt double. MOO

ETA: Incidentally, the Affidavit for Arrest Warrant states that MG and KK traded vechicles AROUND 4 p.m. See page 8. I don't know where you are getting 3:00.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't Kelsey gone much of the time for her job. I believe she commuted quite a distance and that PF had the care of the baby while she was gone?

Lots of people commute to jobs, work long hours, overtime, or travel for their jobs. That does not make the “babysitter” the custodial parent. He also supposedly worked. I think that we can assume he occasionally took the baby with him, but I do not believe it was a regular occurrence. I think that most employers would not appreciate or condone a baby in the work environment of a farrier. Kelsey provided the roof and nurturing care for her baby.

Well, he used a forklift to get it down from the hay stack and into his truck, then he pulled the truck up next to the trough and slid the tote into the trough. From that, it doesn't sound light.

This is not an answer. Either security isn't as good as it's been presented or wherever the 3pm trade off time came from is wrong?

I think he did it to further bring her into his crime - sort of like you cleaned up the mess, you helped get me the gas, you helped get the tote down from the haystack, you helped soak the wood in the gas, you helped pour the gas on, your in this as much as I am - kind of like that IMO.

What could they offer, KB’s remains for a cell where Mommy can visit? Dan’l sure isn’t going to give him the opportunity to be paroled.

Who knows what the prosecution could offer Patrick if they're even willing to negotiate at this point?

I would expect Patrick to be on the move, rarely staying in one prison as word spreads among his fellow inmates that he killed a child's mother while she was nearby in her walker.

Protecting him is going to be difficult.

Maybe they can offer him a lifetime supply of Zane Grey Westerns?
