Haaaa. Yeah, that doesn’t seem to make a hell of a lot of sense if the reason has to do with religious beliefs.

Premarital sex is ok, but living together before marriage isn’t?!

That would be a new one.
Took the words right out of my head.

I was just about to post the same thing. Wonder if contents of the purse will be found scattered around there?

Is this one of those "I owe you a soda", or something like that, because we both posted at the same time? :)

I wonder about the purse as well.

Speculation only. KB’s mom calls the fiancé on 11/25. Same day the text was sent from KB’s phone. Coverup started then. 72 hours is a lot of head start. In my opinion.
Bingo. IMO.

I’m so far behind because I went away (am still on) vacation but I’m still so intrigued as I have been from the beginning on this case. I’m glad to see it had picked up steam both here and with LE. It seems I have missed a ton though. Still no sign of Kelsey. Can someone at least update me about the texts she sent? Is that why her phone pinged in Idaho? Do we know if it was in fact her who sent the texts?

Wish we knew more about the area and if LE is actively searching there. No coincidence that her mother lives in Idaho and that's where the phone pinged, imo.
The relatives in Idaho are in Northern Idaho. About a 7 hour drive from Goodling, ID.

Or, instead of tossing out the window, I wonder if there is a gas station near the ping. Could someone have stopped for gas/bathroom and decided they should send some cover-up texts? Perhaps driving along and then received a phone call wondering where Kelsey is, so he pulled over to do some texting?

IDK. Speculation only. Not fact.

I'd like to know who saw the baby after Thur, Nov 22....and when/where.

Omg I’m getting so tired of hearing about those damned cinnamon rolls lol
In the Mollie Tibbetts case it was “brats.”

There was also a red shirt in that case, which was one big red herring.

Like the airplane likely is here.

That's what I can't understand. She drove to her fiancé's place and turned the baby over to the fiance. She had to do that after she went to Safeway, so the fiance was the last place that she was seen.

And one of the new stations reached out to the fiance but he did not respond.
According to the news release on the Woodland Park Police Department FB page where they clarified some things from the press conference it is said that ...

"Kelsey's fiance, PF, told police he saw Kelsey when he picked up 1 year old Kaylee later in the afternoon of November 22."

Woodland Park Police Department

So, Kelsey didn't go to the fiance to drop off the child, he came to her. At least that is what he told police.

I make homemade cinnamon rolls, so I kinda like the detail.

It would be awesome if the rolls provide the clincher clue to solve the case. (Yeah, I know that is corny.)

Like a Joanne Fluke book :p

Seriously though, making the dough alone for those then letting it rise, pounding down to add everything, roll, pan and another rise before baking is a HUGE deal. At least that’s how I make them and I only do it for special occasions like holidays. It could go to show that she intended to actually be somewhere with those rolls for dinner and something happened to prevent that from happening. Not a huge clue but would go towards her plans, plans that didn’t include Idaho.

I’d be interested to know where her phone pinged before that last location. That would be very telling unless it was shut off.

Right...sounds like fiance went to her place to pick up baby. So she was home at that time, obviously. Were the cinnamon rolls baked by then? Is the whole batch there, or did anyone eat any? Or were there no rolls when he picked up the baby and she made them after he left? If that is the case, she was home for awhile - long enough to at least bake them. Convenience rolls from a tube would take less time than rolls from scratch.

(I want the rolls to play a role, lol!)

Why in the world would she leave her place with her purse and not her car? The only explanation that makes any sense is that someone came to pick her up and she left home willingly, thinking she would return. Or, someone took her and the purse against her will.

Hey, that does not diminish me as a baker!!

Oh jezz- that's a question you are going to have to ask Patrick.

I would imagine his family would have seen the child on Thanksgiving. <modsnip - sleuthing family> It isn't as if this is some loner guy without family.
