What I've noticed, is almost everything that DL stated was a lie. And not a consistent lie, I'm confused half the time and find it very helpful (thank you) when you re post all his inconsistencies. I hope what is happening in court is that they are emphasizing all these lies and inconsistencies in his story to the jurors as well.
I'm convinced DL's plan fell apart during the pancakes when he learned that Sara (mom) would not go along with his earlier alibi text: “Going to make sure she didn’t leave anything in the house. Then you can take her back home.”
If his mom won't say she took Kelsie back home [to Denver], DL has no way to get Kelsie out of Pueblo. She didn't drive her car out of Pueblo, and nobody ever reported collecting her.
IMO, I've always been suspicious of what the Lucas family said to Pueblo LE where they avoided accepting this case as their jurisdiction. It wasn't until Kelsie's vehicle was located in Pueblo that Pueblo police agreed that Kelsie likely disappeared from Pueblo. Those were lost days in this case that could never be recovered-- and evidence lost or destroyed.
IMO, there's no doubt that DL used his hometown athlete royalty status during the early
days of this investigation.
IMO, this trial would not be happening if not for the diligence of Kelsie's family that refused to let it go or take no for an answer.
